I stayed at Cedar Creek Godfrey. There was one staff member who had way too much authority for a CNA, and she didn't like me, and I didn't care for her so that soured my whole experience. They had a menu you could select from, and it was very nice. I was in a studio. It was small, but it was nice. They had an activity room that was used for bingo, which was fun. They had a lobby in the front and big-screen TVs.

I went to Cedar Creek of Godfrey. They were awesome and very nice. The place was really clean, and I was just very impressed. It's just my mom just needed a different level of care. They would have been perfect. It was well put together. I was impressed. It looked very nice. It looked like a nice community for people. The rooms were very, very nice. She showed me a single room. It was almost like a little mini apartment. You had your bedroom, a little kitchen area, and a little living area. It was really nice. I did not eat there, but they did give me a thank you package for coming to visit; it was very nice. It was a box full of bakery stuff. I liked the community itself. Everybody there that was walking around or even in wheelchairs seemed happy. There wasn't anybody just sitting there in the day like they were drugged up or anything. Everybody looked happy and just like they're living their best life where they're at. They had a game room and a library. The facility was spacious. It was just very nice and clean.

My mom is now here. I chose it for her because it is new. It is set up in a couple of different segments. She has a studio apartment. It is nice, neat, and clean. The people are very friendly and very easy to work with. They have a little garden outside that she can have access to for walks. They serve three meals a day plus snacks in between. They have a very good chef, and the food is great. They have spacious common areas with television available. They have a game room where she can play bingo, and they also have a beauty parlor where she can get her hair done. They offer physical therapy. One of the first things I noticed was how good it smelled. She was also able to take her dog with her.
