"Creekside At Shallowford was a very nice place. All the people were very friendly. But my mother needs assisted living instead of independent living. The rooms were nice and very big. They had very big closets, and they all had a patio or balcony. The place was kept very well."

"We liked Ashwood Square Retirement Community. It was a gorgeous place. The people were friendly. The staff who gave us the tour was very informative and very friendly. She answered all of our questions. They had a gym, a salon, a library, a post office, and a general store."

"I had an excellent tour experience at American House Shallowford. I loved it. The people were great. They explained everything. The facility is just immaculate. The rooms are very nice. They would have been the ones we chose had we not found somebody to move in, because they were just excellent, and the facility has everything that we needed for my relative. We walked through the dining area and saw the food, and it's got a list of different stuff that you can eat, and it is very nice. They have an exercise room and a TV room."

"The people at Southern Oaks Assisted Living were nice. The manager was nice and very informative. The room was tiny, maybe because of the price range that we're looking at. The upkeep was pretty good. It was lunchtime, so they were all dining. The staff was nice. I don't have anything negative to say about it. The dining area was good enough for the number of people that they have. They're a lot smaller than the other place, but the upkeep was good."

"There's a vacancy for me at Silverdale Senior Apartments. Silverdale was excellent. Everything was neat and clean, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I will have an efficiency apartment. It's small, but I'll get used to it with no problem. The staff who gave the tour was very, very helpful and very open-minded. It was a pleasure talking to him."

"I like everything about Signal Mountain Senior Living. The only thing I don't like is the rent was way too high. The place was clean, neat, and taken care of."

"My mom moved into Story Point Chattanooga. Some of the places we visited did not smell good, but this place was very open and refreshing, and everyone was friendly. They knew their residents, knew their names, and it had a good feel. Everyone there has been extremely helpful. Their care staff is very easy to communicate with. They seem to care about my mom and are very accommodating. The meal is one of the things that they are accommodating. It's not exactly a special diet, but it requires special preparation. She also has her food brought to her because she's not able to go to the dining area at this time. So, they've been very helpful with that, too. They have games, bingo, church, singing, happy hour, and cookouts. They have lots of activities. They have a bus that can take them out shopping or to doctor appointments, but she has chosen not to participate or has not been able to. They are expensive, but compared to what other people are saying, it's very much in line."

"My mom has been in the Regency House for three weeks now, and they've definitely met my expectations. Their staff is very friendly and seems genuinely concerned with the residents. They interact with them. It's just a good environment. I think there's maybe a capacity of around 50 or so, and it's more of a family feel than a nursing home. What I like the most is the care that they provide and the location. It's convenient for me because it's located between my work and home. It's also a place that gives us the best care that she needs. The rooms are really nice too. They're almost like a little small apartment. She has a living space, and then a little small separate bedroom (which is all hers). It's private, so it's nice that you could bring all your own furniture and stuff from home. They have daily activities like trivia and bingo. They've been really good to work with. They've called me, kept me up to date on different things, and go above and beyond in what they could do."

"My mother was at Dalton Square for three months. We were well satisfied with them. My mother didn't want to mingle a whole lot, but they had activities all the time for those people. The food was excellent. The staff was excellent, too. My mother was very happy there and we were happy with them. My mom had an apartment with a bedroom, a nice walk-in bathroom and shower, a little kitchenette, and a little living room area. So that was very, very nice. They also had activities going on all the time."

"We went to Pleasant Valley Personal Care. It seemed fine. It was quiet and peaceful. They were close to the forest. You can go out and sit and they had swings and different things around the place. They had a nice porch to sit on and rocking chairs. The one lady that was showing us around was very nice and helpful. A couple of others that came through were friendly and polite. It seemed like it could be a nice place to be. The dining area wasn't quite as large, but it was nice and homey. It's like going into your own dining room where kitchen and everything was all right there."

"I went to look at Oaks at Dalton. It was a really nice place. When I get really old, I'd like to go there. I liked that they had 24-hour on-call staff. The rooms were nice. I saw a one-bedroom apartment, and you have your own TV in your room. It was just a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The staff seemed like they really take pride in their job and they care for people. That's what struck me the most about them. The dining area was really nice. The groundwork was nice. It was like a big upscale apartment complex from the outside when I first pulled up. They also had a handicapped parking area, that's very convenient."

"GOD opened this door for My Dad and I. I know that No one wants to have their loved one placed, however this is truly a loving and caring facility, helping to keep your loved one up and going while helping and assisting not only the resident, but, the family member as well! Hepful and caring, I love Ms Deborah D. and all she does for the wellbeing of my Dad's physical, emotional and Spiritual needs. "

"We toured Morning Pointe at Happy Valley. They were very nice. They were roomy and they had the sink and the refrigerator. We looked at the studio room, the bed, and the nice big bath and closet. It's brand new. It just opened last year. The staff was very nice and very helpful. My mother is from that area so she would have loved it if we could have worked on the budget."
