"My sister moved into PruittPlace Buckhead. They were very welcoming from the start. They knew that I was in an urgent situation and needed to move her in quickly. They were very accommodating, extremely nice, and friendly. The only thing I liked least was that the day she moved in, I was hoping they would have someone to be like her mentor and sit with her at dinner and introduce her to people, but they did not do that. So, I stayed to make sure that she sat with people and had dinner, was taken back to her room, and so forth. I wish they had coordinated that to have a kind of buddy system. The staff are all excellent, and everyone is extremely friendly. I did not taste the food, but my sister says that it's pretty good. The facility is super nice, very bright, and welcoming. They are doing some construction, like putting together a library and renovating some of the rooms. So, they do have some construction going on, but it's not bad. It doesn't affect anything. She's in assisted living and gets most of the amenities they offer. They have some activities that they arrange. They have an outside sitting area, which is really lovely. It's a nice garden, and right in the city, so it's not far from where I live. I was very lucky that I didn't have to look at a bunch of places. This one fit her budget, the location where I needed her to be, its cleanliness, and the staff. The director is great. He's a nice man."

"Everything seemed fine, and I did not come across any problems with Sunrise at Buckhead. The staffs were fine. They were very attentive, and they seemed knowledgeable. The rooms are about what I would expect it to be. They are big enough but not too big. As you get into senior living, you don't want something too big anyway. You are not going to use all the space. They have the outdoor patio and the indoor patio. I had no problem looking at the menu and the dining area. All of that seemed fine. I like the setup of this facility. The location is good, and it seems fairly secured. They have plenty of activities. Besides the independent living, they also have the assisted living and the memory care living too. "

"Heartis Buckhead was extremely nice. Maybe even nicer than the other facility I visited in the same price range, which is right on the edge of doable for me. It was a high-rise building. So, the apartments were absolutely beautiful with great views. All the amenities were nice. The person who helped us was more than helpful. They had a beautiful brochure, so it was just a very first-class place. The only negative thing was it was expensive, but the staff was wonderful. They spent a lot of time with us. It's a brand new building so it was very nice."

"I visited Atria Park of Tucker. It was clean and affordable. The people are nice, and they seem to have the services that we need. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a patio, courtyard, and foyer area. They have a small kitchenette area with a small refrigerator, small things, and a microwave."

"My friend is in The Mann house. My friend has Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis, so he requires both skilled nursing and long-term care. It very much feels like a home. The place only has 25 residents. There's lots of space and nice amenities. A lot of things can be taken care of for you. They have a pharmacy and they have a doctor that comes in on site. They have pedicures, a podiatrist that comes in regularly, and lots of services there. It's a really lovely place. The staff was very caring, very open, and they have all been there for quite a while. They have suites with 2 rooms and a room that is all by itself. They have handicap accessible showers and big windows that look out on the garden area. They have a common area with a grand piano, an area where they can do activities, they have two screened-in porches that are wheelchair accessible, and a small gazebo outside."

"My tour at Belmont Village Buckhead was good. They showed me a really nice room, and they looked like they were prepared for respite. The staff member who gave me the tour was really good. The room I saw was a studio; they have all studios. They also had amenities. They looked like they would do a good job. I saw where they exercise and that kind of stuff."

"Governor's Glen serves 3 meals and snacks in between. We didn’t get to meet all of the staff, but we did meet was friendly ones. They seemed to be nice people. However, the salesman wasn’t very good. He just didn’t sell this place like a real salesman would do it. He just showed the place around. But I did like the community. "

"My mother moved into The Berman Commons in October of 2020. It was a good experience but I was frustrated with a cascade of changes in staffing for the next year plus. Since then it has been as close to perfect as I could hope for! The staff from Denise (CEO), to Nardos (D. of Nursing) to floor staff, admin and maintenance have been AMAZING! Their basic care was (of course) exemplary but it's all the extra things that really put my (and my mother's) experience over the top. From general flexibility to obvious and actual personal empathy, mother's level of care is everything I could ask for. The staff is not only professional but clearly take personal stake in the residences' well being and the extended families' comfort level. Transparency and heartfelt sentiment color all aspects of my experience with The Berman. I am so thankful that my mother is in such a great place! I extent a HUGE thank you to all the staff for their amazing level care and responsible custodianship! "

"My dad is moving here. It appears clean and appears to have a modern layout. He's on the third floor (which would be kind of a drawback), but they make rounds every two hours to check on every individual; so that helps. The rooms are adequate, and they 're up to date as far as the equipment. The bathrooms are large, and there's a large walk-in shower. It's basic, but it's very adequate. We're just moving in, so I can't get in too much detail on the staff. They've been pleasant in working with us, but he's actually just moving in tomorrow. They have a theater room, and they have games. No activities were going on at the time, but that's not a main focus for us. I haven't tried the food, but the menus look good; the variety looks good."

"Shekinah Home was very nice and clean. It's small, but it's gated and secure. They have the standard things like room and board, and they have a calendar of events. They also have a salon upstairs and a stylist visits periodically to do hair and nails."

"My mother is a resident of Summerset Assisted Living. We like the familiar décor. My mother has a private room which is a large-sized room with a bathroom included in there. The building has two floors and they have four dining areas, one in each wing on those floors. They have little like activity or breakout rooms where you can go sit or have a private party and what have you. They have a good-sized auditorium that's on the second floor, and they have daily devotions, exercises, and things like that. They also show movies once a week. The main activity room on the first floor probably needs more program in there, but other people come in from time to time. The staff is attentive but I think they need more. I've had good exchanges with the ones I have interacted with. The food seems to be pretty good. I have been there for dinners and things during the holidays. They do a combined eating thing in the auditorium and they redecorate for holidays like Thanksgiving or 4th of July, and they bring entertainment in. The folks really like that. The community is privately-owned by a family. The owner and the wife are usually there during the week and one of the sons also works there. It's very family-oriented. It's a gated community, so you have to punch in the numbers to get in there."

"My mom moved in and it was the best place for my mother's needs. The people were incredibly caring, and the facilities were lovely. I've eaten there a few times, and the food was very good. I've talked to other people, and I heard only good things about the facility. The grounds are beautiful, and they have a very nice outdoor patio area with a barbecue and a sunroom. The location is great and has a very good proximity to different things. They have trivia, music programs, chair fitness, movies, games, and special programs for holidays."
