Due to its location in the greater Atlanta area, Gwinnett County shares the city’s average assisted living price of $4,000 per month. According to Genworth’s 2020 Cost of Care Survey, this price is higher than the state average of $3,500. Assisted living in Gwinnett County is, however, more affordable than the national median, which comes to $4,300.

The Cost of Assisted Living in Nearby Cities

Within Georgia, assisted living prices vary widely, and costs in Gwinnett County are on the higher side. Costs in nearby Gainesville are higher, at an average of $4,263 per month. In the center of the state, Warner Robins has the lowest assisted living prices. At $2,300 per month, it is $1,700 cheaper than Gwinnett County. Nearby Macon also has relatively low assisted living prices, at $2,730. On the coast, the Savannah area is on par with the state average of $3,500. Further south, Brunswick has higher assisted living prices, at an average of $4,124 per month. In the north of the state, the Dalton area averages $3,588. Near the South Carolina border, Augusta has a lower assisted living price at $3,090 per month.

Members are welcome to socialize, dine and play games with others as well as participate in outdoor activities in nearby George Pierce Park.
Lawrenceville Vet Center(404) 728-4195Operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, this center is an access point for veteran financial aid and health care services. Through the VA health system, service members can get pharmaceuticals, laboratory tests and assistive technology. This vet center also has mental health services, including support groups and individual counseling. Service members can apply for financial assistance for housing, medical care and education here.
