"I toured Antebellum James Burgess. It looked like someone's home. There was a lot of space. It wasn't all broken up where it would be difficult to navigate. It made sense to have that much openness for a facility where people could be wheeled around and furniture could be moved as needed. They had rearranged tables in the middle of the room so that all the residents could sit at the table and do an activity together. They didn't have all these separate tables or all these different rooms. It was a nice, big area, with a beautiful, big stone fireplace. It was very clean and neat, but also open to changes in activities and demands of the residents. The people were so nice, everybody was very nice. The assistant director was very knowledgeable, and she showed me all the different things I wanted. She even showed me all the things that we didn't need yet. So, as the needs progressed to something more or something different, she showed all of that as well, not just what I was there for, but what the future might hold for my family member."

"My mother lives at Wisdom Well Living. Finally I have peace of mind knowing that she is taken care of. They spend quality time with each resident and since it is a small facility that makes it possible. It is kept neat and clean and all of the meals are delicious. It is obvious with the care they give that Beatrice and David are passionate about their care giving. I would highly recommend Wisdom Well Living if you are looking for care for your loved one. "

"My mother is currently a resident and she is very happy. She has formed a number of friendships in the year that she has been there. They have some newer staff that are fantastic and communication when mom needs something has been very easy. The facility is clean, and well kept and the food is very good. I highly recommend this community. No place is perfect, but they definitely care!!!"

"The unit that we liked at Celebration Village Forsyth was all brand new. It's full of appliances. They had a gym/workout place, a craft room, a beauty salon, and a movie theater room. They're pet-friendly, too. We drove there without an appointment and the manager of the facility took us on tour. He was honest, which I appreciated, and was willing to stop what he was doing and take us and walk us around. He didn't skip anything. There were a few times I asked a question that he didn't know the answer to, but he didn't make anything up either. He was excellent."

We live in another state so when we return home we are able to have peace of mind that our loved ones are being cared for. Our father has since passed on and our mother continues to get quality care at Sunrise at Johns Creek with regulation of her medications and monitoring of her level of dementia. "Heartis Suwanee was lovely. We liked it very much, but it was very large and overwhelming for my brother. The rooms were very nice and very upscale. It's a very modern and new place. They can take a lot of residents there. They have two buildings, one for couples that just want to retire and be independent, and another building for those that need care, memory care, and hospice. It's a huge building and my brother is very small and quiet; he would not have fit in. They had all types of activities, and they had a beautiful outdoor place where they could all meet up. They could even have pets if they could handle them on their own. They also have a bus if they are able to go for activities. We were very impressed, but my brother would be lost there. The staff was very nice and informative."

"We've done a tour at Oaks at Hampton for my mom. They actually gave us a tour of both assisted living and memory care. I loved it, it was very clean, and all the residents seem to be very happy. All of the staff members were very nice. The person who accommodated us was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, and I like that you can bring your own furniture and accommodations for them. They were eating breakfast when we toured, and it was very clean and nice. They have a beauty salon that does hair and manicures. They have a playground where your grandchildren can come and have a place to play, a garden area to sit in, a game room, and a TV room."

"I toured Village Park at Alpharetta. What I like the best about the place is the fact that it did have three different restaurants that you could choose from. It was really a nice option, and the place was very attractive. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good. I was very impressed with the food at the place. The amenities were wonderful. The property was pristine. It was beautiful."

"The staff at Emeritus at Lake Springs were very caring, but the place was not equipped for someone that has a major handicap like my father-in-law with cerebral palsy. As far as the place itself, it looked clean. The food was good, but it wasn't over the top. They did have a good amount of activities, but they weren't hands-on. The only drawback to the place was the rooms were too small for his power wheelchair. He couldn't maneuver around the bathroom at all. It kind of prohibited him from being able to do for himself, but for somebody that is like in a walker or a manual wheelchair where they can personally stand up on their own and be somewhat mobile, it was perfect. The residents were happy there, and they were friendly. I would recommend it to someone who is mobile. The grounds were always kept clean. They were allowed to go out and walk. "

"I toured the Regency House of Buford. Everyone we met was very accommodating and very personable. The person we talked to was very good. They showed us the whole thing. They showed us where they eat and where they have activities. They showed us their apartments. It was a very positive one. We saw the studio and one-bedroom apartments. They have a calendar full of activities. All of them were the same. They all have morning devotions and exercises at 10:00 a.m.. They go out for lunch once a month or once a week, something like that. It was well-maintained, and the staff was very helpful."
