Assisted Living Reviews for Renaissance on Peachtree

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom has been at Renaissance on Peachtree since January 2018 and lives on the Assisted Living floor. She requires help with all aspects of daily living: dressing, using the bathroom, bathing, etc. My dad, who is still able to live alone and care for himself, visits her three days a week and has had a lot of interaction with the Assistant Director and staff. My son, brother, and I visit every week. We are all impressed by the consistent quality of care at and management of this facility. The staff have been wonderful with my mom. They make all the difference in the world! They sincerely and genuinely care for and about all the residents. They are friendly, helpful, competent, and well trained. The food is delicious and the variety of daily and weekly activities is excellent. They even had a Mardi Gras parade (we’re from New Orleans), complete with bead throwing! For my parent’s 64th anniversary, all my dad had to do was ask and they arranged a very special, private dinner for them with white tablecloth, candlelight, wine, steaks, and a private, tableside chef. Everything about Renaissance on Peachtree is first class, from the atrium that looks like a five star hotel, to the hair salon, exercise classes, movies, transportation service, and weekly outings to various places around Atlanta. There is something for everyone here; it doesn’t matter if you’re completely independent or require a good deal of assistance. Each resident is treated with the same level of caring and respect. It’s close to shopping, hospitals, grocery stores, and everything else in the heart of Atlanta, for those who are more mobile. Also, they allow pets—so important to quality of life as we age. Visitor parking is quite limited but they have complimentary valet parking, so it’s never a problem.
This is definitely the kind of place you want for your loved one. My family and I would highly recommend Renaissance on Peachtree to anyone looking for an assisted living facility in Atlanta.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I chose Renaissance on Peachtree because they have a lot to offer. The staff is very nice, friendly, and professional. My apartment is big with a nice kitchen, living room, bedroom, and a fresh coat of paint. They have everything you can imagine for the residents. They serve meals, but you have to pay for them, and the food is so-so, not the best but not the worst as well.

I moved to the Renaissance on Peachtree in May 2016 and have been pleased ever since. they have a warm and professional management and care staff willing to help in any way.
Renaissance has many activities to take advantage of such as social events, interesting trips, exercise classes. a physical therapy room staffed by certified therapist who I call "Miracle Workers.
I have found the residence to be warm ann friendly making this feel like one big family

The amenities at Renaissance on Peachtree are excellent. Our apartment is very lovely on the 15th floor, and we have a great view of the city. The dining room is beautiful, revamped recently, and can serve meals to about 250 residents. We have a very active club called Current Events that attracts most of the residents each week. It discusses the current events of the day. My wife and I are in a senior rock band. The thing that attracted us to live here was the fact that we could be here without having a big entrance fee, just the 30-day lease.

My client is now at the Renaissance. It’s not inexpensive, but the care, the treatment, the food, everything is first class; they do allow pets. It’s a studio apartment; you provide your own furniture. It has a little kitchenette where you have a microwave, a sink, and a refrigerator. It has a bathroom with a little walk-in tub and a large closet. You can have food in your room if you so desire, or there’s a dining room on the third floor and a main dining room on the first floor, which is fine. They have activities all week. They have movies; they provide transportation. It’s a very nice facility.

I visited this facility back in 2011 and it was great! the servers in the dining room were very helpful and they seems happy to be there and they smiled and joked. I recently came back this year of 2013 to find out that new management had taken over. The visit was average, and when my mother and I ate dinner the atmosphere was very different. A lot of the servers that I saw in 2011 weren't there, and the other ones that I noticed from my previous visit, weren't the same happy people. The ones who noticed me spoke and gave a brief smile, but you could tell they weren't happy

With our aunt living at Renaissance on Peachtree we had a chance to see how this assisted living facility deals with both guests and residents. Overall our experiences have all been extremely positive and we have been pleased with the care and service provided by each and every staff member.
It is certainly nice to notice such amenities as private catering, Sunday brunches and fresh vases of flowers on every dining table. However it is the high quality of personalized care that has truly impressed us the most.
In addition to those employees that are busy cleaning the building and grounds there are personal caregivers, nurses, support staff, security and dieticians who work closely with each resident. We know that our aunt receives the assistance and care she needs without her feeling as though she is being restricted in any way. She even has a necklace to wear that she can use to signal for emergency help should a fall or other similar situation occur. There are even a system of high-tech, security monitors that are manned 24/7 that will alert staff to any type of problem in the building, or on the outside premises.
The staff calls us by name when we visit and they treat the residents as though they were beloved family members. We have been thoroughly impressed by how many people keep check on our aunt's welfare and very much appreciate the diligent attention and dedication of each and every employee.

My mother-in-law is still at the independent living of Renaissance on Peachtree. It has a very congenial atmosphere. They just hired a new kitchen director, who's designing a new food program. The grounds are nice, though there's not much to them with just a patio, some chairs, umbrellas, and tables out in the front. However, the building is really nice and has been renovated twice since she's been there, so many of the apartments are brand new. They have a very nice housekeeping staff, there's a personal atmosphere, and the director and housekeeping staff all know your name. When it's your birthday, they put balloons and a card signed by the staff on your door, and give you a birthday cake. They also have apartments available to rent for families coming to visit.

My parents are in The Renaissance (The Renaissance On Peachtree). It’s really nice and very upscale. My parents have one of the more modest apartments. It’s just a one-bedroom, but some people have very luxurious apartments. It's still nice. They offer a lot of different sizes and a lot of different options. The one-bedroom apartment is fairly small, but it’s certainly bigger than most assisted living rooms. It has a good-sized living/dining room, small kitchen, a bedroom, one bathroom, and a pantry.

I liked the Renaissance on Peachtree very much. As a matter of fact, I am thinking of going there. It was clean and bright, and they had remodeled the whole building. People were very inviting, very receptive, very sweet, and very nice. The price was a little too high, and they offered only two meals: breakfast and either lunch or dinner. The apartment they showed me was very large -- I think 700sq. ft -- and it was very nice. They had an exercise room, a memory class, and all the facilities including a beauty parlor. I liked the staff. They were very pleasant, very nice, and very accommodating. You don't feel like a stranger; you feel like family.

The Renaissance was beautiful. The food was better, they had walk-in showers, the appliances were upgraded, and the rooms were larger -- the whole atmosphere was better. The staff was wonderful.

The staff in Renaissance was friendly and helpful. Everybody is friendly and we were happy with the accommodations and the location. The rooms were very nice. They have everything so far, including a library, TV room, media room, and computers. Everything was very clean.
