"My mom stayed for respite at Bright Rose Personal Care Home's assisted living in Marietta. They loved her and wanted to welcome her back. She had a really good stay, and everybody really loved her personality. She got along well with everyone. She really enjoyed herself, and they enjoyed having her. It's a good place. The only thing is that they have one person there who smokes, and my mom is a non-smoker now. That's the only thing I saw that I didn't agree with. Other than that, they're really kind and very nice. They attend to the residents who live there. It's not overcrowded, so you can still get individual attention, which is really good. It's a home-based facility, and very neat, very organized, and very stationary. There's a lot of room in there for the residents to move around and watch TV. They have a sitting area if they want to go outside and sit and relax. The bedroom where my mom slept was very nice and neat. The comforter, the bedspread, and everything about it were nice. For activities, I know they have somebody who comes in and does exercises with them. They have activities that kind of get their mind refreshed."

"My mom is a current resident at the Holly House: Ms Ebbie just retired on this past Friday , Marie is the caregiver now, and has done a wonderful job of caring for my mom. I refer to the women there as the Golden girls they are so sweet , I highly reccomend this home. Minister J Hunter"

"I'm living in Dunwoody Pines Retirement Community now, and the experience has been very good. The staff seems to be very helpful, but the food is so-so. It's not the greatest, but it's satisfactory. But I was alarmed this morning to find out that there's a person with COVID here, and they told everybody to quarantine in our rooms and not to go out, so I'm not happy about that. They offer quite a few amenities, and they have activities indoors as well as outdoors. They have games and I've gotten to enjoy watching football with others here, so there are things to do. Just like a lot of other places I looked at, they offer transportation to the grocery store and doctor visits and things like that. That's helpful, although I have a car and I can drive myself to the doctor. I think that's a nice amenity that they offer."

"I toured Silver Comet Village. The people were very sweet, very knowledgeable, and very professional. The staff was very genuine, and made you feel like she had your interests at heart. Their rooms were great. They were very large. They had a very happy atmosphere. I saw the dining area, but I didn't eat. It was very neat and made it look like a place you'd like to sit down and have a meal. The day we were there, there was a group of them getting ready to take the bus, car, or whatever to Outback to eat lunch. Later that day they were gonna have bingo."

"The people at The Holbrook Decatur were understanding. It was well-facilitated and supported. There was a great supporting staff, and they kept the residents involved in activities. The apartments were nice-sized, up-to-date, very accommodating, and very clean. I wasn't able to see a non-furnished room as one would walk into it if they lived there."

"Sunrise of Huntcliff Summit was very nice. It was my second choice. The staff was good. They had recently renovated a lot of the apartments and the kitchens. The whole facility looked clean, well kept, and maintained."

"I moved a family member to Canterfield several months ago. She is very happy there and is receiving excellent care. The facility is clean and bright and all of the staff is very friendly and nurturing with the residents. The dining staff has taken great pains to ensure that my aunt (who currently is the only resident who is a vegetarian) has a balanced diet with plenty of food choices. I'm very pleased with the selection of Canterfield as my aunt's residence and would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, caring environment with various activities available to the residents."

"My first impression was that it was nice. The grounds were nice and I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked in. They had a recreation room, a small gym, walking paths, many opportunities to get together, and separate rooms available if a family member wanted to stay over. The staff seemed to just really know and was aware of all of the residents. When I came into the hallway, there was engagement with both sides. Since it's independent, I might have thought that the staff was not paying attention, but they were. If a person walked down the hall, they would say hi to them and greet them by their names."

"The tour at Vickery Rose Retirement Community was very good. The people were very nice and gracious. They answered all my questions. The facility was very, very nice, and I enjoyed it. The rooms were fine, the layout, it is rather large, but it's all very, very good. The rooms were nice. They have various arts and crafts rooms and a library, they have a lot of seating and visiting areas, and that was fine. I think they only do two meals a day."

"We are choosing Varenita of West Cobb for my mother because it was new and we liked the people. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and happy. The place was large and it was very clean. They had a little courtyard area and a relaxation area. This facility was located near restaurants and grocery stores."

"I have only seen the cottages at The Holbrook of Woodstock because the building wasn't open yet. They have 16 cottages, and of their private cottages there are only 2 large 3-bedrooms. They're beautiful, very well-equipped, and the whole place is very nice. It's fairly expensive as well, it's around $6,000 a month for a couple but everything is included. They're going to have many things, and you get 700 for food at their restaurant. They have 3-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms and 1-bedroom apartments, and the price would depend on the apartment that you have. It's very nice. Everything was discussed during the tour, and we asked questions. The place itself was very attractive."

"This is an extremely wonderful place from the staff to the great living arrangemens. I spent most of my days enjoying karoke, and enjoying the wonderful field trips to places such as zoo atlanta and fernbank "

"Sanford Estates was very nice, band new, and beautiful. I went back for their open house. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and was willing to help. The location was good. The rooms were all brand new, gorgeous, and decorated well, although they were very small. They had a good social director. I have already recommended them."

"My parents are in Celebration Village. It's an excellent facility. They still care for the independent recipients even though they're not in the assisted living part. They still make sure they're taken care of, so they're not independent in other words. They still have constant care. The staff is excellent. I don't worry about them knowing the level of care the employees give the recipients. They have gaming, music, crafts, and movies, they have doctors that come in and see the residents at that facility, and they have physical therapy. They have three meals a day for anyone that wants to go over and have that or they take them to their apartments. They provide transportation for them to medical appointments and groceries and shopping and whatever else they need. They're located in an area where everything is within 5 to 10 minutes of either a car ride or a walk for shopping or groceries or medical care, drycleaning and UPS, and things you might need."
