"Vickery Rose was beautiful. They have a pretty little waterfall right in the center of the atrium. It was a lovely place. The person who assisted me was super. The concept of the room is about the same as it is anywhere. It is one common living area plus one bedroom and a small kitchen area. It did come with a washer and dryer, which was a plus. They have a room where you can get together to play cards or play games. They have a movie theater, where they show movies on a regular basis. They have outside entertainment that comes in during the year. They have a nice library and a computer connection room. They have different levels of meals. They have one area cafeteria style and another area that is fine dining, where you sit down at a table with tablecloths. They have an open bar, where you can just go and get food anytime you want (mostly sandwiches). The food was good. I had lunch there. They have an exercise room. They have garages available, which was a plus for me."

"Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was excellent and probably the one that we will go with, because there were more people within my friend's age group and near places around that he would like to go to. What I look for in a facility is when the staff and residents intermingle with each other, and there was a lot of that there. I was very impressed with it. The grounds were beautiful. Their dining area was exclusive. It overlooks a beautiful wooded area that's just gorgeous. They have a wide variety of choices on their food as well. I really liked their apartments. They were beautiful and well-kept. They were recently remodeled and they looked nice. They were playing bingo at that time and there were also people out reading books and talking with each other. The room doors were open so you could see each other. They took their residents on an outing, which was really cool. They didn't just go to the grocery store and stuff, but they actually went to see an exhibit, which was something I wanted to go see. So I was pretty excited about that."

"Parc At Piedmont is wonderful. The staff is smiling, helpful, accommodating, and interested. The rooms are nice. I think the facility is amazing. The food is the best. They have the most amazing chef who prepares really light and interesting flavors, and the proportions are perfect. They have activities like field trips, and they have entertainers coming in. They have a movie theater and a library. It is beautiful, safe, and nice. I think they should add more assisted living units. My mother has been doing physical and occupational therapy in this facility, and I have been there a lot. "

"Village Park at Spalding was a beautiful place, and it reminded me of a resort. They have open walkways, an outdoor pool, a cafe, a place for happy hour, and dining. It was very nice. They also have the assisted living license. The staff was wonderful, very friendly, helpful, showed us around, and did everything. They have villas and cottages, which are separate homes that are set out on the property. They also have building apartments."

"The staff are exceptional, caring and kind. They truly love their jobs. There is a wide range of activities and ways for residents to get involved. We are very pleased with our choice of Atria for my mom. "

"Heartis Buckhead was extremely nice. Maybe even nicer than the other facility I visited in the same price range, which is right on the edge of doable for me. It was a high-rise building. So, the apartments were absolutely beautiful with great views. All the amenities were nice. The person who helped us was more than helpful. They had a beautiful brochure, so it was just a very first-class place. The only negative thing was it was expensive, but the staff was wonderful. They spent a lot of time with us. It's a brand new building so it was very nice."

"My mom is now at Holly House. It has been an awesome experience. Five minutes after we got there, she ditched the wheelchair and she started walking again. She got some independence. They help her with the issues that she needs. It could not have been a better process. The gentleman who showed me the different places was amazing. It was home-run basically. It stood out way, way above the rest. The food smells good, and my mom has no complaints. The staff knows her well. She knows what my mom can eat and what she likes and they cook everything there, so it is amazing. The staff has been fantastic. The place is sparkling clean, and it fits my mom's needs. They actually moved her to a bigger room when they had a chance. She now has an access to a bathroom off of her room. They're going above and beyond to try to help her. I highly recommend this place."

"The people at The Holbrook Decatur were understanding. It was well-facilitated and supported. There was a great supporting staff, and they kept the residents involved in activities. The apartments were nice-sized, up-to-date, very accommodating, and very clean. I wasn't able to see a non-furnished room as one would walk into it if they lived there."

"I toured Village Park Alpharetta. I didn't like the fact that some of the sections were further away from the area where you ate and had to do a lot more walking. I think it was a different building that you had to go into. They have an elevator that is connected to the main building. It was a nice facility. The bungalow room is not my style. The courtyard was very pleasant."

"I chose Cottonwood Estates because it is close to my house, and it’s new and of nice size. The rooms are very spacious and new. The staff is very caring and knows each resident as well as the details about their life. They do have weekly outings and yoga. They also have crafts as well as cultural activities and a movie theater located on campus. "

"We will move into The Holbrook of Woodstock next month. The entire facility is outstanding. The place is immaculate. The people are outstanding. The facilities could not be beaten, the facilities they provide are outstanding, and you could not ask for more. In addition to the usual amenities, they have physical therapy facilities and an indoor swimming pool."

"We went to visit it and have lunch. The food was good. The staff was very nice. If my mom were to change her mind, that is the one she was wanting to go to. They had bingo. They had art classes and stuff that my mom was interested in."
