"At Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living, three meals are provided. I liked it. I was impressed. It was very clean and very friendly. I will live there when I'm older. The dining area looks like a cruise ship and you can bring your friends or family to the mealtime. They'll reserve you a seat and it's only $5 per person that's cooked by a chef. There was a library, they have a housekeeper once a week, physical therapists and barbers are coming in, and there was a shuttle bus there twice a week. It was very good. The staff was very friendly."

"I've been here in Belmont Village Johns Creek since October of last year. I'm in a nice apartment. They also have a room for people that are in the building. It has a kitchen, so you can eat here in your own place, or the meals are included, just a few steps away from the dining area. The food is very well done. I've met many people here that are delightful. It's a great place to live, either in the village apartments or in the facility, which has nice rooms. I would recommend Belmont Village to anyone. There are many activities, including church services. They have an area where you can sit and play puzzles. They have a Friday night cocktail hour. The people living in the building all have breakfast, lunch, and a nice dinner every day."

"Celebration Village Forsyth was really nice. The staff members were good, very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The rooms were nice. They had a nice alternative dining area there. Everything was well kept. We looked at the 1-bedroom units. They were really nice and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept. There were people in the gym. We went there during lunchtime, so a lot of people were eating."

"Sunrise of Huntcliff Summit was very nice. It was my second choice. The staff was good. They had recently renovated a lot of the apartments and the kitchens. The whole facility looked clean, well kept, and maintained."

"Parc at Duluth was a great tour, but I wasn't really keen on the layout. The restaurant was on the fourth floor. I didn't get a good feel for it, and that's just my personal preference. The person who toured me though was knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated the information she was able to provide. The apartments were just your typical apartment complex, but I liked the senior living features the come with it. It had shower bars and emergency drawstrings. I think they seem to have a wide variety of activities. They had a beauty salon, an exercise room (that was kind of on the smaller size), and a very well manicured courtyard. I think they were on a very busy road, which was a bit of a turnoff because I know how busy that road is."

"We enjoyed the visit to Village Park Peachtree Corners. The person that we met with was very friendly and informative and did a nice tour of the facilities. We were impressed with the independent cottages that they have. They were very nice and the overall facility was nice. We were happy to see that they're planning improvements on the facility. They'll be putting in a bistro so that the place won't seem neglected. Overall, we like it a lot and everything we saw, we liked. We saw the grounds. They had 15 independent little cottages and we also looked at the main building which was 2 floors."

"I passed by Towne Club Windermere while traveling before, many years ago, and it's very close to my family. I toured their independent living, last Monday, and it has a lot of activities and variety to help seniors. I also like that they have a garden, a pool, and just things to keep me active. I don't want to just sit around. They were very gracious and informative. Everything looked clean, neat, and organized. The people that I saw there in their activities looked happy. Their signages were geared to elderly vision too, which was very helpful. Just touring around, I didn't meet with a lot of staff but the ones I passed by were very friendly. They're clean, spacious and with lots of storage places. I was very impressed. "

"I moved into the Villas at Canterfield. I looked at probably twenty-to-twenty-five different facilities, and overall, it was absolutely the best available -- plus it was only three miles from my grandchildren. Being close to grandchildren was the primary decider, but it is also a first-class facility in every way. I am in an independent home villa. The facilities are magnificent, and the staff is magnificent. The home that I am in is virtually brand new, I do not have to do any yard work at the house, I do not have to do any housekeeping, and if I don't want to, I don't have to do any cooking. I have full cable-TV access, and I have high-speed Wi-Fi. I cannot think of anything bad to say about them."

"Our tour experience with Sandy Springs Senior Homes LLC was very informative. The person that took us around was very detailed with everything that was associated with the independent living floor plans. She also gave additional information on financial accommodations for potential residents who may be applying. She was very welcoming and all the areas were very nicely presented. It was a clean and welcoming environment. The lowest independent living plan they had was like a one-bedroom and it was very outdated-ish. The oven was very old, but it was a nice unit. On the next floor plan, you could tell that it was more expensive for a reason. They had hardwood floors. It was a nice comparison between the two. As a whole, I enjoyed the tour very much, and they answered a lot of questions about where the hospitals were located and the pricing."

"Heartis Suwanee was lovely. We liked it very much, but it was very large and overwhelming for my brother. The rooms were very nice and very upscale. It's a very modern and new place. They can take a lot of residents there. They have two buildings, one for couples that just want to retire and be independent, and another building for those that need care, memory care, and hospice. It's a huge building and my brother is very small and quiet; he would not have fit in. They had all types of activities, and they had a beautiful outdoor place where they could all meet up. They could even have pets if they could handle them on their own. They also have a bus if they are able to go for activities. We were very impressed, but my brother would be lost there. The staff was very nice and informative."

"We thought Parc at Piedmont was very good, and the staff was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The apartments were nice and had a good lighting. They have a lot of amenities and a lot of activities like movie nights. It’s very nicely maintained too and easy to get to. It’s one of the nicest ones we have seen."

"Linwood Estates was very beautiful. It's very good and very accommodating. That's the place I would want to be at. The staff was very polite and courteous and tried to please you in every way. The food was great. The rooms were big enough. It's very spacious. They have the laundry rooms and housekeeping. The maintenance was great. It was like going to a five-star hotel."
