"My mother has been there for 4 months, this place is amazing. The activities are well thought out plans and the residents enjoy them. The place is always clean and decorated for the season. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a great place to live. "

"Brookdale South Lee Buford is the first one I visited. I remember feeling very positive. As far as I remember, the rooms were fine. They were smaller than the other facility. The staffs were very confident and very friendly. They seem to be very attentive and seem to know their residents very well. My impressions were positive. As for activities, they are comparable to everywhere else I visited. They do social outings as well as go to the grocery store and the drug store. There was nothing that stood out either positive or negative on that part. "

"We went to Village Park Senior Living, and that, so far is my favorite. The staff there was awesome. We're looking at independent living. We saw they're very much what we like. They're building some other things and we're going to check what they're building. I will be in touch with the staff as she's the one that we worked with. She showed us around. They're the best. They're the one I'm considering going to. The staff is excellent. We didn't taste their food but that wasn't so important because they would only have four meals a week anyway for us. We'll be cooking in our own home there, and we will have our own full kitchen so we didn't need that. The facility is excellent and it is clean. They're the only ones that had us wear a plastic coat when we came there so that the people don't get COVID. They were excellent, they were careful, concise and did everything for us that we could ask. I have a complete folder from them with all of the plans for the new stuff and everything. I'm very well covered from them."

"I very much like Villas at Canterfield as it has a really good list of amenities and daily activities for the residents. It’s bright, cheerful, and clean and has a wide variety of floor models. They served me a very delicious lunch. "

"Noble Village at Spalding was brand new, very fancy, and very nice. The one-bedroom was ridiculously small, and it had a small, full kitchen, but it had a refrigerator. You're supposed to eat three meals each day in the dining room there. They were very expensive. They had houses and cottages that were lovely, and the grounds looked nice. They have a van that takes people out, lots of activities, and a little swimming pool. It's just far too expensive for what I would want, and I don't need all that. From what they told me, they seemed to have a lot of activities. "

"My mom moved into Ashton Manor At Sugarloaf two weeks ago. The people are very friendly. The place is clean, the rooms are nice sized and the price is reasonable. The staff is extremely friendly. She said the food is ok, not bad. I like how large the rooms were and the cleanliness. The layout is nice, they have a courtyard, and it's kind of small. I have just one complaint with them and I think there's not enough activity."

"My father is in Cottonwood Estates. It is a very nice, affordable, convenient place. The people are wonderful. They have trips all the time and three or four meals a day. They have all kinds of amenities, including a library, billiards, a kitchen to cook in if they feel like it, and all kinds of transportation and trips. The rooms are very nice, clean, and perfect. "

"We decided to keep my husband at Atria. It is close and very nice. The staff and the food are both very good actually. They do a good job. I am very pleased with them. "

"I am currently at Sanford Estates and I am happy here. It is further away from my family than I like, but I am content here. The staff is wonderful and considerate. The meals are not that great. My apartment is wonderful. I have a studio and it is so large people can't believe that this is a studio apartment; they look around for the bedroom. It is very clean, and the amenities are good. They have activities here, people are interested, but I am just not interested. I happen to be one of the oddballs here; I am not interested in any of that. If I like something, like the entertainment or something, I go down there absolutely. They have plenty of things for people to participate in like movies, bingo, and crafts. They have all of these things, and if people are interested, they are more than welcome to participate."

"My father is in Laurel Grove. They're very accommodating, helped me through the whole process, and they're very attentive. He has a good-sized room. He's been there for two days now. I was able to go in, and it was perfect. Everybody had a good time. They were playing balloon volleyball in the downstairs common area, they had live music out on the lawn and a guy was playing his guitar, they had movies, and they do all kinds of things."

"The Sheridan at Eastside was very new, very attractive, and I felt comfortable. It didn't feel like a facility, it was more of a home. The staff was very helpful, easy to work with, and prepared for questions. They had a salon, the dining area looks like a restaurant, and they have a meeting area with a piano for music and entertainment. They had an activities room and a garden too."

"The people of this location are amazing. Wendell, the Executive Director, is kind, patient, and always responsive. Kate was the calm and sweet woman who helped me and my mom select Brookdale. Regina at the front desk is a pure delight. The food is good, the property is beautiful (although needs some TLC), and I feel my mom is very safe and needs taken care of. Being a caregiver to a parent is stressful and I have often been tense and not at my best when working with the team at Brookdale. They have always been kind and patient with me and my mom. There is always someone at the desk who can help. Love how there are so many long time residents. Would recommend this location for your loved one. "

"Vickery Rose Retirement Community was friendly and welcoming. The manager was very kind and open. The person at the front desk was also very kind. They gave me a calendar of activities, and it seemed like they had a variety of things to do each day that involved the mind, body, and spirit. They had physical activities, mental activities, social activities, game rooms, and a theater. There were lots of opportunities for self care, like getting your hair done, your feet done, or getting therapy. The apartments were good size. They were bigger than some I've seen. I could see myself living there."
