"We have chosen Linwood Estates Gracious Retirement Living for my mother-in-law. It was very nice. There were a lot of nice people there and some of the residents we talked to were very happy there. They have a pool, a library, and a gym."

"Brookdale South Lee Buford is the first one I visited. I remember feeling very positive. As far as I remember, the rooms were fine. They were smaller than the other facility. The staffs were very confident and very friendly. They seem to be very attentive and seem to know their residents very well. My impressions were positive. As for activities, they are comparable to everywhere else I visited. They do social outings as well as go to the grocery store and the drug store. There was nothing that stood out either positive or negative on that part. "

"We toured Village Park Alpharetta. It was very modern and upbeat, positive, bright, and light. There were lots of different hybrid options for people who were in different phases of life. So if you need more independence and your spouse stays more assisted, you can stay together. You don't need to move buildings or floors based on your needs. The staff was extremely professional and friendly, made us feel very comfortable and hospitable, and just a great experience. We tried the bistro and the food was good."

"Noble Village at Spalding was brand new, very fancy, and very nice. The one-bedroom was ridiculously small, and it had a small, full kitchen, but it had a refrigerator. You're supposed to eat three meals each day in the dining room there. They were very expensive. They had houses and cottages that were lovely, and the grounds looked nice. They have a van that takes people out, lots of activities, and a little swimming pool. It's just far too expensive for what I would want, and I don't need all that. From what they told me, they seemed to have a lot of activities. "

"My father is in Cottonwood Estates. It is a very nice, affordable, convenient place. The people are wonderful. They have trips all the time and three or four meals a day. They have all kinds of amenities, including a library, billiards, a kitchen to cook in if they feel like it, and all kinds of transportation and trips. The rooms are very nice, clean, and perfect. "

"My mother loves everything about Atria North Point. She loves the overall atmosphere, all the help, and the kind people. The food is great, and the service is great. She's very comfortable in her room. It has bright and big windows, which really makes her happy because she can see out. She's going to exercises, and they're starting up a knitting club. The staff has all been very great."

"I'm staying in Sanford Estates. I like the other residents that live here. Part of the amenities is that I get three meals a day in their dining room. It's clean and it's active. Plus, it has a bus that I can use to go to my doctors' appointments."

"It was very well laid out. It looked very clean and homey. My mom was with me when I visited this facility, and she immediately felt a sense of peace almost like she was at home. The staff was wonderful, very caring, very energetic, and intelligent when she spoke about the facility. She was concerned more for my mom's happiness, so I'm hoping that's going to continue once Mom moves in. We had lunch with them one day, and it was very good. In terms of activities, people were getting ready to go to Walmart, just a little get-out-of-the-house type thing. And there were people playing games. Some were putting puzzles together. We had heard of other activities like choir practice and different things. One of the reasons we chose this place was because of the activities. The food was healthy, it tasted good. It was not what you would stereotypically think for an old age home."

"The people of this location are amazing. Wendell, the Executive Director, is kind, patient, and always responsive. Kate was the calm and sweet woman who helped me and my mom select Brookdale. Regina at the front desk is a pure delight. The food is good, the property is beautiful (although needs some TLC), and I feel my mom is very safe and needs taken care of. Being a caregiver to a parent is stressful and I have often been tense and not at my best when working with the team at Brookdale. They have always been kind and patient with me and my mom. There is always someone at the desk who can help. Love how there are so many long time residents. Would recommend this location for your loved one. "

"Vickery Rose was beautiful. They have a pretty little waterfall right in the center of the atrium. It was a lovely place. The person who assisted me was super. The concept of the room is about the same as it is anywhere. It is one common living area plus one bedroom and a small kitchen area. It did come with a washer and dryer, which was a plus. They have a room where you can get together to play cards or play games. They have a movie theater, where they show movies on a regular basis. They have outside entertainment that comes in during the year. They have a nice library and a computer connection room. They have different levels of meals. They have one area cafeteria style and another area that is fine dining, where you sit down at a table with tablecloths. They have an open bar, where you can just go and get food anytime you want (mostly sandwiches). The food was good. I had lunch there. They have an exercise room. They have garages available, which was a plus for me."

"It is a very positive environment. Both the staff and the residents are pleasant and the food is good. As for activities, there are not as many of them as I think there might be, but I don't have time to do more than I do now anyway. Nevertheless, I enjoy Bingo and we have Friday morning coffee socials. They recently had a retirement party for somebody and it was fun."

"I have been very impressed with Gracemont since my family member has been there for the last year or so, The care is great, food is wonderful, the staff is friendly and welcoming lots of activities in the memory care part especially in the last couple months I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. "The best thing about Holbrook Decatur was it was extremely nice. The worst thing was it was expensive. It was on the upper end of the budget. The only person I met was the person that was meeting us for the tour, and they were late and they were in a hurry. They were perfectly nice, but we had to wait in the waiting room for 15-20 minutes, and then they were in a hurry. The facility was brand new."

"Parc at Piedmont - East Cobb was really beautiful. They had walking paths, gazebos, and swings outside. It was really pretty that way. We had a meal there, too, and it was excellent. The thing I liked the best about it was the gardens that you could walk through. The staff members were really nice. The facility was great. They had an apartment that I really liked. However, it was a little far from where our family is, and that's one of those things."
