"I toured Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living. The lady there has still been in contact with me, even though I told her about my mom's issues right now. She still calls me every once in a while, and she's really cool. I like the personality more than anything in addition to the place being nice-looking and all that. They look like they want to be your buddy, not just medicate you, or take care of you. They have parties or trips planned. They had three meals a day. They supply some appliances."

"The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a really nice room that we are considering. The residents were up-and-about playing cards, and putting together puzzles. It would be nice if they add a swimming pool. "

"The person who toured us Village Park Peachtree Corners was the activities director. The marketing person was not there, so it was a very different visit. The activities director kept apologizing to us. It was fine. She did the best she could, and she was able to answer all our questions, but it was a little bit negative because it was the first place we ever visited. It was weird. What I didn’t like was that the cottages and the bungalows are right near a highway, so when you sit outside on your patio, all you're hearing is noise. The activities director was able to show us some of the apartments but we kept telling her that that was not what we were interested in. We were interested in the bungalows and the cottages. One of the residents did allow people to come see hers, so that was very helpful. She was very lovely. She let people tour through her cottage."

"I'm staying at Celebration Village Forsyth. Everyone was so nice, so friendly, and so welcoming and that was the thing that convinced me. It was a very beautiful place, and the atmosphere was so wonderful. They have crafts, exercises, Bible study, and swimming. They have a shuttle service that takes you everywhere as a group and an individual shuttle if I want to go somewhere by myself. It's all very convenient. My apartment is very nice. I have a big bedroom with two great big windows, a walk-in closet, a big bathroom, a full kitchen, and a large living room. The staff is wonderful. They've gone out of their way to make my move easy. I have a housekeeper who comes in once a week, changes my beds, puts clean sheets on it, and cleans the apartment. It's very clean. I'm very pleased."

"We chose Towne Club Windermere. What they did was they took a ground floor apartment and turned it into an office, and that office is a regular apartment. That's the same apartment that we're renting, and there are four stories above it. They have a library, a pool, and an exercise or workout room. The staff is very accommodating."

"I toured Village Park Alpharetta. I didn't like the fact that some of the sections were further away from the area where you ate and had to do a lot more walking. I think it was a different building that you had to go into. They have an elevator that is connected to the main building. It was a nice facility. The bungalow room is not my style. The courtyard was very pleasant."

"I really like Sanford Estates Gracious Retirement Living. They take really good care of my mom. The people are great and she is really enjoying herself. The food is great. They'll cook whatever you want, and they have two or three different chefs. It's usually two or three different dishes that you can choose from per meal (there's three meals a day). They do exercise classes, card games, and bingo. They also go on casino trips or go shopping at different locations."

"I moved into the Villas at Canterfield. I looked at probably twenty-to-twenty-five different facilities, and overall, it was absolutely the best available -- plus it was only three miles from my grandchildren. Being close to grandchildren was the primary decider, but it is also a first-class facility in every way. I am in an independent home villa. The facilities are magnificent, and the staff is magnificent. The home that I am in is virtually brand new, I do not have to do any yard work at the house, I do not have to do any housekeeping, and if I don't want to, I don't have to do any cooking. I have full cable-TV access, and I have high-speed Wi-Fi. I cannot think of anything bad to say about them."

"I toured Cottonwood Estates Gracious Retirement Living. It was extremely clean and well-kept. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I like their setup for the residents, the cafeteria, and the overall amenities they offer there. They provide three meals a day."

"Brookdale Chambrel Roswell didn’t look like anything we were interested in. The whole community -- clubhouse and everything -- were a little bit older than we were looking for. The rooms and the cottages were in the process of being renovated. The room that we saw that was renovated was very nice. "

"I looked at the independent living at The Holbrook of Decatur for my mom. Their assisted living areas were closed off because of the COVID. The place was very sharp and modern, the people were very friendly, and they seemed like they have their act together. Their rooms were very good, and met my expectations. Some were bigger and some smaller."

"I had a nice tour at Sandy Springs Senior Homes LLC. It's a nice building. It's two floors and residents get three meals a day. The person that gave the tour was a nice lady. I had talked to her a few times on the phone and then when I met her, she was even nicer. They have activities like bingo and card games. They also have exercise rooms. The dining area was laid out nicely and spacious. The rooms were also big and spacious."

"My grandmother is in care at this facility currently and I just completed visiting her daily for the past week, including the weekends. The quality of care being provided exceeded my expectations by far and deserves to be recognized. During this time period, I had the pleasure of being able to interact with a cluster of staff at varying levels and performing very different functions. I continued to be impressed with all the staff members I was able to interact with at all levels. I found the nursing staff to be courteous, attentive, and compassionate in terms of the various services they are providing daily to your client population. They have quite a stressful challenge and appear to deal w/ it successfully w/ patience, commitment, and compassion. Not only are the nursing staff responsible for the minute to minute medical care that the clients require , they also have to assist w/ meal activities in a very active manner. In closing, needless to say, I was beyond impressed w/ the quality of care being delivered at this facility; I found the surroundings, the staff, and the quality of care to be exceptional. You all should feel very proud of what you are doing to nurture our elder community. "

"That was a very nice place, but it didn't seem warm. They had a swimming pool. The rooms were very nice and adequate. Everybody was friendly. We ate at the Piedmont. The food and the service were fine. "
