"Sunrise at Five Forks was very beautiful and well kept. The people were hospitable. They answered my questions and everything I wanted to know. The staff seemed very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. I found out a whole lot of important information that I needed to know in terms of the level of care and that kind of thing. The rooms had a very nice layout. They have three meals a day."

"We visited Magnolia Senior Living. The place was new, so the cleanliness was excellent. The rooms were small, and there were very few amenities, so it wasn't the community for us."

"I looked at the assisted living and memory care at Brookdale South Lee Buford. The community seemed very nice and very homey and the people were quite friendly. I saw that they have activities in the building, people will come in with music and so forth, and they have exercises. They can go out for dinner on evenings with their bus. Overall, I was pleased and I had nothing to ask for. And all my questions were answered. It was a pleasant place and it was pleasant dealing with all the people. The building itself was clean, neat and homey."

"I toured the Regency House of Buford. Everyone we met was very accommodating and very personable. The person we talked to was very good. They showed us the whole thing. They showed us where they eat and where they have activities. They showed us their apartments. It was a very positive one. We saw the studio and one-bedroom apartments. They have a calendar full of activities. All of them were the same. They all have morning devotions and exercises at 10:00 a.m.. They go out for lunch once a month or once a week, something like that. It was well-maintained, and the staff was very helpful."

"I visited Atria Park of Tucker. It was clean and affordable. The people are nice, and they seem to have the services that we need. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a patio, courtyard, and foyer area. They have a small kitchenette area with a small refrigerator, small things, and a microwave."

"We moved my dad to memory care section of The Joy at the end of September, 2024. To help with logistics, we moved my dad first, to one of their fully furnished respite rooms, then moved him to his new suite the next day, after we got his furniture moved in and set up. It’s hard to describe how great the staff was (and is!), from the moment we walked through the front door. As you probably know, if you’re considering moving your loved one, it can be pretty stressful— for everyone. Walking into The Joy with my dad was like walking into a sanctuary of caring and calm (outside, there was literally a hurricane approaching :-) ). One day recently, after he’d been there a couple weeks, I was sitting with my dad in his room enjoying a cup of coffee together and, unprompted he said: “I like my new home.” He’s not a man of many words. It made my day. So grateful for everyone at The Joy!"

"I've been here in Belmont Village Johns Creek since October of last year. I'm in a nice apartment. They also have a room for people that are in the building. It has a kitchen, so you can eat here in your own place, or the meals are included, just a few steps away from the dining area. The food is very well done. I've met many people here that are delightful. It's a great place to live, either in the village apartments or in the facility, which has nice rooms. I would recommend Belmont Village to anyone. There are many activities, including church services. They have an area where you can sit and play puzzles. They have a Friday night cocktail hour. The people living in the building all have breakfast, lunch, and a nice dinner every day."

"My mom has moved into Highlands Senior Living Norcross. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is a good ratio of patients to staff. The facility is clean and easy to use as far as the elevator, and all of the rooms are made for people of different skill levels. The staff members are all very eager to please, accommodating, knowledgeable, and skilled. Everything appeared organized at all times. They were setting up decorations for the Valentine's party. They do a lot of events to engage the residents. I think the value for money is excellent considering the quality of care you get is very high."

"Antebellum James Burgess was a very good place. The room was not bad, and they provided you with everything, but the price was high. They had a library, an exercise room, and a card game room. They didn't have a swimming pool. The dining area was clean, and the staff was OK. They were mostly helping the residents while I was there. "

"Village Park Peachtree Corners was good. It was small. It wasn't as big as the other village. The apartments were a little bit smaller. One of them that we saw was an odd shape, and I don't know how you would put furniture in there. So that kind of turned me off a little bit. It's close to a friend of mine, so that's the only reason I went to look at that one, because she was like, "Oh, that'd be great. I wish you would come over here," but it wasn't the right fit. We really didn't see very many people working when we were there, but they were nice. They came up and talked to me."

"Celebration Village Forsyth was really nice. The staff members were good, very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The rooms were nice. They had a nice alternative dining area there. Everything was well kept. We looked at the 1-bedroom units. They were really nice and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept. There were people in the gym. We went there during lunchtime, so a lot of people were eating."

"Towne Club Windermere is a fine facility. My father has friends there and there are many single men, so he has company. It's close to me, so the location is good. His room is very nice. The staff is attentive and caring, and they seem very kind all the time. They're not grumpy or anything like that. The dining area is nice. He enjoys the food, and he doesn't complain about it. With COVID, I haven't been able to go eat in there. They've done their best to keep them busy during COVID. They have games and movies and things like that for them. In the past, I know they've had musical groups come in to play for them. They have a bus that takes them shopping and takes them out and about. They used to be able to go on trips. With COVID, it's hard to say because so much has been shut down, but so far, he seems happy and well cared for. He's getting his medicine on time, and I don't hear complaints from him. I've never had a problem with the staff. Occasionally, it takes a little long for them to get the food, but once they get it, it's good. Everything always seems clean and well cared for. He seems happy with the activities."

"The Oaks at Braselton was nice. The people were very nice and very accommodating, but it was dark and it wasn't very uplifting. You walk into the rooms, there's your living room, then you go to the back and it's your bedroom with a tiny little window. The bathrooms were small. I didn't like them at all. It's not an uplifting facility as far as the atmosphere. The staff I interacted with was very nice. The dining area was small and dark. They just needed more windows in that facility. They had a salon and a fitness room. The theater room was just a room with a big screen and just regular chairs like you sit on in the dining room. The facility looked clean and smelled good. The staff was very accommodating, letting me come and walk, and they're very open to everything. The room was a big downfall there because it was just dark. They've got people living there that like it, so I guess, it's a personal preference."

"It is wonderful the care that I get, I feel like I am family here since I can not live at home anymore this is the next best place.I love my activities almost daily that I am involved in and can not wait to get in the court yard this spring."
