"I moved into the Villas at Canterfield. I looked at probably twenty-to-twenty-five different facilities, and overall, it was absolutely the best available -- plus it was only three miles from my grandchildren. Being close to grandchildren was the primary decider, but it is also a first-class facility in every way. I am in an independent home villa. The facilities are magnificent, and the staff is magnificent. The home that I am in is virtually brand new, I do not have to do any yard work at the house, I do not have to do any housekeeping, and if I don't want to, I don't have to do any cooking. I have full cable-TV access, and I have high-speed Wi-Fi. I cannot think of anything bad to say about them."

"I enjoy Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living very much. The staff is beautiful, they're kind and caring. They take care of you and make sure that you have what you need. The food is excellent. They have activities almost every hour. They have everything here."

"Everything is very nice at Parc at Duluth. The staff is doing everything they are supposed to do, and they are doing a good job. The rooms and apartments are clean, well painted, and have lots of light. They have a check in system, and everybody has to check in and check out. "

"I'm living in Laurel Grove. I love it. The staff is excellent. The housekeeping, kitchen staff, and the dining room - they're all excellent. They offer a variety of each meal too. When I started out, I was in a one-bedroom because my husband was with me. I'm now in a studio, which I love because it is really all the room I need for being by myself. It is compact, but it is roomy enough that I have room to move around and have like a living room area and a bedroom area all in the same room. I have a little kitchenette area with a refrigerator, and I have my own microwave. I also have a separate bathroom. It is very nice. The dining area is very large. It is on the first floor. It is off the atrium and the activity center. They have round tables that are set for four people at each table, which makes for a nice dining experience because it kind of forces the people to socialize a little bit. I would recommend Laurel Grove to others. "

"We toured Village Park Alpharetta. It was very modern and upbeat, positive, bright, and light. There were lots of different hybrid options for people who were in different phases of life. So if you need more independence and your spouse stays more assisted, you can stay together. You don't need to move buildings or floors based on your needs. The staff was extremely professional and friendly, made us feel very comfortable and hospitable, and just a great experience. We tried the bistro and the food was good."

"Oaks at Gracemont was a great place. Everything was good about it and we would have taken mom there. We liked the smallness, the cleanliness, and pretty much everything about it. The staff was genuinely helpful. They had a hair salon and a gym."

"I visited this community yesterday. I must say, once I walked in the door, I felt at home. It smelled nice, had beautiful music playing, was very clean, and most importantly the staff was very welcoming. I would highly recommend this community for your loved one. And I'm a tough cookie!!!"

"I am the eldest daughter of a former resident, my precious mother, at Smoky Springs in Gainesville, GA. Mother was there for several years before having to be moved to a 24-hour care nursing facility where she passed during the COVID epidemic. Mother was so very HAPPY at Smoky Springs and we were all happy knowing that she was happy and being cared for so well. We, her children, were impressed from day one with the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, the food and especially the help that our mother received and the many friends she made. I am so very blessed to know in my heart that we gave mother the best of the best care that we could by moving her to Smoky Springs and knowing that her end-life years were wonderful while she was a resident. If you have a loved one and are considering Smoky Springs as their residence, or you, yourself are looking for an independent living home, you will not be disappointed in making the decision to live at this facility. Smoky Springs and the staff are truly a blessing and I thank the owners and the staff for a job well done!"

"Cottonwood Estates was a little bit older facility, and they did not have full kitchens. They just had a kitchenette, which was just a sink and a dorm room refrigerator, and that's something that we didn't want. We wanted a full kitchen. It's strictly independent. The staff was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. The dining area was a restaurant type. They gave us a pie because it was right before Thanksgiving, and it was very good."

"I really like Sanford Estates Gracious Retirement Living. They take really good care of my mom. The people are great and she is really enjoying herself. The food is great. They'll cook whatever you want, and they have two or three different chefs. It's usually two or three different dishes that you can choose from per meal (there's three meals a day). They do exercise classes, card games, and bingo. They also go on casino trips or go shopping at different locations."

"It is a very positive environment. Both the staff and the residents are pleasant and the food is good. As for activities, there are not as many of them as I think there might be, but I don't have time to do more than I do now anyway. Nevertheless, I enjoy Bingo and we have Friday morning coffee socials. They recently had a retirement party for somebody and it was fun."

"My mother was living near Parc at Piedmont for 35 years, and would be able to utilize the area. She can stay within the confined place, and I also live in this area as well. It’s a beautiful, and nice facility in combination of cost also. Cleanliness was fine, and the rooms were spacious. "
