"Though the facility is quite expensive, they have taken great care of my grandmother. Lifecare of Lawerenceville features some of the best staffing we encountered at nursing homes as well a very comfortable living arrangements. The nursing home is run like a well oiled machine yet it doesn't feel like some sort of alien place. It is clean and safe and my family couldn't be more satisfied with the quality. "

"My father moved into Johns Creek Senior Living Care almost three weeks ago. They're great. They're just very caring, and they give him a lot of attention. It's a small facility, and he gets a lot of personal attention. The food is very good; they cook it all by themselves. I've been there many times. There is a very warm and cozy kind of feel to the whole place."

"We decided to check Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. The staff was nice. The facility's entrance was nice. They had a sofa which was worn out and needed to be replaced. The carpet and curtains looked old. The facilities weren't too bad, and the lady was helpful, but it was very expensive. The staff showed us a private and semi-private room. The private room looked old. Everything was dark, and the carpet was dark. The semi-private was very congested. There are two beds with a curtain to divide them. It was okay, but for the price they were asking, it was so expensive. The dining area was okay. The people sitting in the reception area were very receptive and pleasant. But when we found the lady who led us to the admission director was not very kind and courteous. But as the time went on, she got comfortable with everything. It's not bad but it's not upscale either."

"We toured PruittHealth - Lanier. They're remodeling it. So it was under construction. The rooms were three patients to a bed. They were small. The patient had their bed. I didn't notice any chairs for family members to sit in. I mean, there could have been, most of the rooms we looked at were full. None of us wanted to go in and disturb the patients. The staff was very nice and friendly and made eye contact. The only thing was after we had the tour and everything, the young lady who took us on a tour was supposed to get back to us about availability, etc. and we never heard from her. So we assumed they didn't want us, and that was okay because we both agreed on that. We didn't want to put our mother there."

"I am most proud of the fact that this facility has such caring people that grandmother can rely on. Since she has gotten older she does not like to interact with people and even family sometimes. However, she is fully involved with the activities of Cumming Manor. She has her own room and her own bath room. They allowed a lot of freedoms for us to come in and decorate the room to her comfort so that she would transition to assisted living easily. I do not know much about the food and nutritional offerings, but we do have to bring her a Wendy's cheeseburger from time to time because of her cravings. Otherwise, I have never heard her complain about the food. The staff are very accommodating and area always at her beck and call if she needs something. Also, they have a primary care physician on site that works well with her care needs and keeps my family updated on her health weekly. "

"My father has been at Chestnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation for a few months now, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care he’s receiving. The staff is not only professional but genuinely kind and attentive. Every time I visit, I notice how clean and well-maintained the facility is, and my father always mentions how much he enjoys the meals and the activities they offer. What really stands out is how the nurses and aides treat residents like family — with patience, respect, and real compassion. They’ve also done a great job keeping us in the loop with his care plan and progress. It's such a relief knowing he’s in a place where he’s safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity. Highly recommend Chestnut Ridge to any family looking for quality care for a loved one."

"They treat my mother like an inmate. There are so many rules, that I think they have finally broken her spirt. I have tried for a week solid to reach my mother and no one answers the phone. When I call to talk to rather social worker she is NEVER AVAILABLE. I have left my name and number and she won't call me back. This place doesn't deserve even 1 star, bot there isn't an option for zero. DON't put a loved one there. "

"Initially, what happened was my mother was in another facility. That facility had an accident and the roof collapsed in the dining room. So they had to move all their patients to other nearby facilities until they get the roof fixed. So they had moved my mother to Life Care and when we went there to visit her, I find the facility nice. The nurses are really good. The doctors are great. My mother just liked it there. So we didn't move her back to to the other facility. She had to option to stay or go back. I asked her and she said she wants to stay so that's why she is still there now. She is sharing room with someone there. My mother is an old Latin lady and she is very picky when it comes to food. She doesn't like American food. No matter what food she eats, if it's nice rice and beans with some enchiladas, she's not gonna like it. I've seen the food served to her and they do have a well balanced meal. They also figure out the patients needs when it comes to food. My mother does not like to eat red meat so they are making sure that she is served chicken or fish and food like that nature. I really don't want to take away my Mom from there but it's so far away from where I live since we just moved to Cleveland, GA this year and it takes me almost 45 minutes to get there so we are thinking of moving her near us soon. "David and his staff are outstanding. Over the last 20 years I have experienced tremendous results with neck, back and foot 🦶 issues. After therapy I am back to my old self. I learn so much about how to maintain good health and strength from David. I can’t begin to tell you how hopeful he makes you feel even in the midst of very difficult pain and mobility He is alway fun to be around and makes the time in pt go by quickly. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate him and his entire staff "

"If my dad did not come to this facility he would be dead right now. I do not know what these other people are talking about. Sure, no place is perfect. The hospital sure ain't gonna keep nobody alive. Look people, you have to be involved. They don't know your mama or your daddy. You have to tell them what they need to know. Your parent is there because they are sick and need help. If I could have taken care of my daddy at home, I would have. I read these reviews and treated the people there really ugly. Now, I'm embarrassed because my dad is going great and I know I was not a nice guy. I did not want to listen until I saw my dad getting better."

"We went to Meadowbrook nursing home. They were ready to admit my sister-in-law, but she backed out. They were very helpful there. It was very nice, and I don't have any complaints about it. We saw a double room for two people that was small but had a TV, so we were pleased with it. The staff was excellent. When we walked down the hall, the workers spoke to everyone and were very congenial. "

"My mom is at Roswell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and it's been good. She has some behaviors that create some issues, but she likes being there. She says the nurses are nice to her. They take good care of her, and she has 24-hour nursing care. She's happy with all of them and that's what matters. It's a nursing home and an older place. It could use some updates, but it's okay. Where she's at, there's no dining area. They usually just use their rooms. They have the rolling trays to put their food down. I've been there for so many of the meals, and they are hot and looked balanced and good. She also gets desserts. Sometimes she doesn't eat that much, so they give her Ensure every day. They've all been nice. If she's having behaviors, they sometimes let her call some of us. They have our numbers and they'll let her call to see us because it helps calm her down. If anything happens, they'll call and tell us what's going on. So, they've been good. When we get there, we usually try to find out how she's been the past few days. If they've had problems with her, they'll let us know, and if she's been good, they also let us know. We're glad of that. I think they should update the furniture and update and paint."

"Willowwood is the one I want my mother to go to. That place is strange because it was older. I wouldn't say it is dirty, but it is older and almost like a rundown trailer park. Once I got inside, they had birds in this humongous bird cage. Nobody was in their rooms, and everybody was out like they were having races with the wheelchairs. It looked great because they were not just drugged and left in bed. I talked to a couple of people there, and they seemed extremely happy with that place. They did show me one room. They had just painted it, and it just became available. It was semi-private and was a decent size. I think all the rooms must look like that with two beds, two night stands, and two dressers. I didn't try the food, but the way they do it is like a buffet. They can go into the cafeteria and actually pick what they want which I like. The tables all have flowers and tablecloths on them. They can go and be able to socialize which is a lot better. I don't know how the food was, but the way they presented it, it seems great. They had a fish tank and a lot of them were sitting and watching the fish. It just seems very light and real airy. From what I saw, I would recommend it. "

"When I first came in here. I came from another facility. They did not do a good job with my knee (I had a knee replacement), so my knee froze up and I couldn't move it or bend it. When I came to Grace, I was scared and in a lot of pain. It hurt to bend it and I didn't want anyone to touch it. But when my family brought me here to Grace, they made me feel welcomed and put me at ease. The Nursing staff treated me beautifully, and the Rehab staff made me feel like I was their long lost family member! They were wonderful! My orthopedic doctor wanted me to get aggressive therapy, and the people in therapy worked me hard, and made sure that they took care of me and my knee. They even went to my house with me to see how I would do at home! I can now fully bend my knee, and I am no longer in pain, and I am now so happy and I am able go back home. "

"I am currently staying here. It's wonderful nursing care. Anything that you need, they follow through. I have a shared room. We have individual beds, and we have two bathrooms. It is very well kept and cleaned sometimes a couple of times a day or sometimes one time a day. The floor is scrubbed and swept every day. It's usually the same thing for breakfast, but they change it sometimes. Food is never, never warm. They give you grits that are cold and your eggs are cold. Anything you get is cold. They get you up and put you in a wheelchair. I exercise my leg and they do, too. They keep track of you. If you get out of line, they will tell you don't go in certain areas. They have certain areas for people who are on vacation. There are restricted areas, and there's somebody there to tell you that all the time. Each table in their dining area is decorated with flowers. They put your food out for you. They pick up everything after you. The dining area is clean. I've been in quarantine for 14 days, so I'm limited to the place where I'm quarantined. You can't go out, you have to wear a mask, and you wear certain clothing. They are on top of safety. I have a roommate that needs special attention and she walks around all the time and as far as keeping us safe, there is somebody that watches us all the time. If you get out of your space, they will let you know and put you right back in bed. Safety-wise, they are very good at watching you. They have everything that is needed to be organized and to be safe no matter what you do. "

"Awesome team at PruittHealth Brookhaven (PHB)!! A close family member was there for short-term, non-acute rehab. From the Admissions Director and staff and front desk reception (from day one) to the nursing team, CNAs, medical team, physical/occupational therapy team and the nutrition and food service teams - most demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism, compassion and care. Trust and believe, I looked at several centers (most had horrible reviews - and many lived up to them), and we wound up in one that was definitely sub-par before space was available at PHB. It is definitely many cuts above! The facility is very well kept, and everyone is accommodating and responsive. Even the food was good! the PT team is first rate!! We had amazing results in a short time. - To anyone reviewing facilities, keep in mind that no one usually WANTS to be in a rehab center, and no place will be like home. The PHB team recognizes this and tries to make the stay as comfortable as possible, given the circumstances. They get to know the patient and the family. As I was told - they may not be perfect, but they do their best. It's true! Even if not perfect, we saw the genuine effort to make things right. They take great care to take great care of those entrusted to them"

"My dad was in Golden Living Center for a month now. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took good care of him, and the rooms were nice. The food looked and smelled good. I saw what my dad was eating, and he said it tasted good. They have birthday parties, pizza parties, dances, bingo, and arts and crafts. The dining room was nice and clean. There were six people at each table where they can sit together. "

"This facility and their workers work very hard to find the formulas that work for each resident. Now it’s important to assist them with understanding your family members needs, but once you do help them find their normal baseline; they will go over and beyond to make sure they sustain and improve it. My mother has been a resident for 5 years and they have worked very hard to help her and, today she is in a better condition then she was prior to her admittance. When there is a problem, they will communicate and they care! Rosemont at Stone Mountain gets my vote!"
