"I toured The Bridge At Lawrenceville. It was clean. It was conveniently located near family. Everyone was very friendly. They had a courtyard and a dining area. We've looked at a deluxe one-bedroom. The dining area was a nice restaurant-style. My only issue was that it was not as modern as I wanted it to be. However, it was good, and it was a good experience. I would recommend it to anyone who could afford it."

"My father moved into Johns Creek Senior Living Care almost three weeks ago. They're great. They're just very caring, and they give him a lot of attention. It's a small facility, and he gets a lot of personal attention. The food is very good; they cook it all by themselves. I've been there many times. There is a very warm and cozy kind of feel to the whole place."

"We decided to check Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. The staff was nice. The facility's entrance was nice. They had a sofa which was worn out and needed to be replaced. The carpet and curtains looked old. The facilities weren't too bad, and the lady was helpful, but it was very expensive. The staff showed us a private and semi-private room. The private room looked old. Everything was dark, and the carpet was dark. The semi-private was very congested. There are two beds with a curtain to divide them. It was okay, but for the price they were asking, it was so expensive. The dining area was okay. The people sitting in the reception area were very receptive and pleasant. But when we found the lady who led us to the admission director was not very kind and courteous. But as the time went on, she got comfortable with everything. It's not bad but it's not upscale either."

"My grandmother was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cumming. The thing I appreciated was that they fudged an extra day out of it because Medicare only pays for a maximum of two weeks, and so they made her start date later than it was to give her some extra therapy time and to give her more time there. I liked that they gave her two extra nights/one extra day for free. So that was good for her. The staff were very caring, compassionate and very helpful. They made all her doctor's appointments before they discharged her, so that was good. The therapy was very good there. The level of care was very good. Just every part of it was very good. The facility was clean and well-kept. It was inpatient, it was an extension of the hospital, and so it was very hospital-like."

"Cumming Nursing and Rehab is an exceptional place and that is due to its highly trained and skilled staff. I am a physician and have worked with nurses for the past 25 years. I was really impressed with everyone here. My father was transferred from another rehab in Florida and admitted to the rehab here and the care he received saved his life a couple of times. The nurses are very experienced and pay strong attention to details. Emma was one of the nurses who saved my dad's life when his blood sugar dropped too low. She also saw that his left leg was swollen and a doppler study was done in house that showed a blood clot in his leg. Emma is an exceptional and caring nurse. Omegus, one of the nursing assistants, saved my dad's life on another occasion when his oxygen malfunctioned. Wanda, the activities director, was just wonderful. Denise Brock, a highly skilled nurse, accepted my father into this outstanding facility and I will forever be grateful for her professionalism and follow-up. The entire experience from beginning to end was excellent and I recommend them very highly."

"My father has been at Chestnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation for a few months now, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care he’s receiving. The staff is not only professional but genuinely kind and attentive. Every time I visit, I notice how clean and well-maintained the facility is, and my father always mentions how much he enjoys the meals and the activities they offer. What really stands out is how the nurses and aides treat residents like family — with patience, respect, and real compassion. They’ve also done a great job keeping us in the loop with his care plan and progress. It's such a relief knowing he’s in a place where he’s safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity. Highly recommend Chestnut Ridge to any family looking for quality care for a loved one."

"They treat my mother like an inmate. There are so many rules, that I think they have finally broken her spirt. I have tried for a week solid to reach my mother and no one answers the phone. When I call to talk to rather social worker she is NEVER AVAILABLE. I have left my name and number and she won't call me back. This place doesn't deserve even 1 star, bot there isn't an option for zero. DON't put a loved one there. "

"My mother, Sara Padgett is a resident of this facility and has been since 2006. She was diagnosed with pneumonia on Thursday 12 26 2019. I am pleased the facility maintained her without sending out to hospital. This nursing home took excellent care of my mother. With their help my mother's temp has gone down and she is responding to the antibiotics. The nurses are so pleasant and were so kind to my mother and me. I am so glad the facility did what was needed and my mother is improving. I thank all that were involved in my mother's care. I thank you so much. Robert Padgett "

"David and his staff are outstanding. Over the last 20 years I have experienced tremendous results with neck, back and foot 🦶 issues. After therapy I am back to my old self. I learn so much about how to maintain good health and strength from David. I can’t begin to tell you how hopeful he makes you feel even in the midst of very difficult pain and mobility He is alway fun to be around and makes the time in pt go by quickly. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate him and his entire staff "

"My mother was at Meadowbrook Health Care for respite care. She had been three times. She liked the food. They seemed to be kind of consistent with putting her in the same room. I've had some clothes missing from there. People said they would call me back, but they didn't, and I didn't particularly like that. The place was clean. The nurses were attentive. If something happened or if my mother slipped or anything like that, they would call me. I could go out of town and do whatever I have to do, and I know she is there and totally taken care of. There was some paperwork that needed to be filled out. They were good with me coming by and taking care of it. They seemed to have enough staff. It's secure. You have to be checked in and out, which is good. The staff seemed to be present in and around the facilities. You have people in the hallways in wheelchairs and all these people seemed to be overseeing them here and there. I like the staff. And the rooms were big, and the TVs were small. The bathrooms were large. They're adequate."

"Willowwood is the one I want my mother to go to. That place is strange because it was older. I wouldn't say it is dirty, but it is older and almost like a rundown trailer park. Once I got inside, they had birds in this humongous bird cage. Nobody was in their rooms, and everybody was out like they were having races with the wheelchairs. It looked great because they were not just drugged and left in bed. I talked to a couple of people there, and they seemed extremely happy with that place. They did show me one room. They had just painted it, and it just became available. It was semi-private and was a decent size. I think all the rooms must look like that with two beds, two night stands, and two dressers. I didn't try the food, but the way they do it is like a buffet. They can go into the cafeteria and actually pick what they want which I like. The tables all have flowers and tablecloths on them. They can go and be able to socialize which is a lot better. I don't know how the food was, but the way they presented it, it seems great. They had a fish tank and a lot of them were sitting and watching the fish. It just seems very light and real airy. From what I saw, I would recommend it. "

"I am currently staying here. It's wonderful nursing care. Anything that you need, they follow through. I have a shared room. We have individual beds, and we have two bathrooms. It is very well kept and cleaned sometimes a couple of times a day or sometimes one time a day. The floor is scrubbed and swept every day. It's usually the same thing for breakfast, but they change it sometimes. Food is never, never warm. They give you grits that are cold and your eggs are cold. Anything you get is cold. They get you up and put you in a wheelchair. I exercise my leg and they do, too. They keep track of you. If you get out of line, they will tell you don't go in certain areas. They have certain areas for people who are on vacation. There are restricted areas, and there's somebody there to tell you that all the time. Each table in their dining area is decorated with flowers. They put your food out for you. They pick up everything after you. The dining area is clean. I've been in quarantine for 14 days, so I'm limited to the place where I'm quarantined. You can't go out, you have to wear a mask, and you wear certain clothing. They are on top of safety. I have a roommate that needs special attention and she walks around all the time and as far as keeping us safe, there is somebody that watches us all the time. If you get out of your space, they will let you know and put you right back in bed. Safety-wise, they are very good at watching you. They have everything that is needed to be organized and to be safe no matter what you do. "

"I needed to place my dad for a few days. When choosing a faculty I was a little skeptical. But once I arrived I was greeted by Tabitha ( great conversation before we arrived ) she was very attentive, thorough and supported to me. She ensure my dads stay would be a pleasurable one. Tabitha answered calls and questions while I was away to ensure me that my dad was doing fine. If and when I have to place my dad again I will not be hesitant to choose Pruitt healthcare of brookhaven. Thank you Tabitha for all you did for me and my dad. We appreciate you and all your efforts. Nothing u did went unnoticed "
