"We moved in last August and couldn't love it more. We searched for the perfect place that was luxurious-but yet warm and welcoming and Heartis Buckhead has been both. The amenities are wonderful, but the kind people that are residents make it so special. We would highly recommend Heartis Buckhead to anyone looking for a 5 star community."

"Village Park Peachtree Corners was good. It was small. It wasn't as big as the other village. The apartments were a little bit smaller. One of them that we saw was an odd shape, and I don't know how you would put furniture in there. So that kind of turned me off a little bit. It's close to a friend of mine, so that's the only reason I went to look at that one, because she was like, "Oh, that'd be great. I wish you would come over here," but it wasn't the right fit. We really didn't see very many people working when we were there, but they were nice. They came up and talked to me."

"Great community! My father has been a resident for three years. The staff is excellent and he likes the food. Our family could not be more happy!"

"We're going to live at Hammond Glen. It's very friendly and warm. The staff members were lovely. The food was good, and we enjoyed it. They had movies and special dinners. They always seemed to have games going, like mahjong and bridge. When we first got there, we participated in a seated exercise class. They had a library and a coffee shop, too. They also had a bus that takes you to a senior center that has everything."

"It had one- and two-bedroom apartments, which were really nice. The people we met were very pleasant and had no problem answering our questions. They had everything there, like balconies on the second floor and patios on the first floor. The place was configured in a way where I don't think the seniors would have too many problems. Even if they got confused, there was someone readily available to help them to get where they had to go. It was very clean. They paid a lot of attention to detail, like adding some newer lights that offered more of an ambience. It was a place where you not just age in place but age in place gracefully. It wasn't difficult to find. It was just a few minutes off the expressway. It's very convenient."

"Our visit to Parc at Duluth was good. We enjoyed it, but it's probably not the one we will choose. It doesn't have some of the things we were looking for, but it's a very nice place. The lady who led us on the tour was very good. She had a lot of information and did a very good job leading us around. The facility's cleanliness is excellent, too. There are two things that I really wanted, though: one is an indoor pool -- theirs was covered but not indoor -- and they didn't have any covered parking at all."

"Linwood Estates was really nice and friendly. It was like being on a cruise ship. The staff was extremely nice. It would be perfect for somebody with a cognizant mind and body, but not for somebody who is losing their mind. The apartment looked nice. The dining area was wonderful. The dining area was really big and there were so many people eating together. They have a movie theater with popcorn. The place was really clean."

"I'm staying in Sanford Estates. I like the other residents that live here. Part of the amenities is that I get three meals a day in their dining room. It's clean and it's active. Plus, it has a bus that I can use to go to my doctors' appointments."

"Sunrise of Huntcliff Summit was a beautiful facility. It reminded me of Vegas in the 1970s. If my mom could afford to go there, that's my #1 choice. I was very impressed. They had a pool, a sauna, a garden, a concert yard, and balconies. It was fabulous. The kitchens were lovely. The staff during the tour was bubbly and excited. She has been there for a long time. Everybody knew her, was coming up to her and laughing, and she was so gracious and knowledgeable. The food menu looked fantastic. They had a Mardi Gras parade, and they were all dressed up and having a really good time. They had a wine room and some family members were there eating and socializing with one another. They had a garden and an art room."

"I'm at Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living. I love living here. The people are friendly and helpful. Also, I enjoy the exercise here. I appreciate the bus taking me shopping and to my doctor's appointments. I love the activities director. She keeps us busy and active. My apartment is on the second floor. It's a very good location. It is close to the library and the dining room. The staff members are wonderful. They're very caring. They serve three meals a day. We have a bus for transportation. We have outside activities from the bus on Wednesday. With value for money, they're the lowest in the area that I found. Overall, I don't know if there's something I would suggest improving it because I think they're doing great."

"Our visit at Palms of Lake Spivey was very good. We liked it, and they were very helpful. "

"Belmont Village Johns Creek was a nice place and the room I saw was a pretty nice size. The road is out of the way and the area is very quiet. The staff was very friendly and very nice to work with."

"My mother will be moving into Heartis Suwanee. When the staff called me, she was very polite. She asked me to explain my mom's situation and what she was looking for. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. She met the budget. It was basically the budget that I was looking for, for my mom that included everything that she needed. She didn't have to worry about anything additional. Everything's just going to come up to that one payment. She made me feel like everything I was looking for is just one-stop shop. When I went to see it myself, I was just blown away. The area was beautiful. It's up and coming and developing, and when you walk in, it's not like walking into an old folks home or senior living. It's like walking into a hotel. That was one of the other things that caught my eye that I was really amazed about. They had the concierge and someone at the front desk. You didn't have to go look for anyone when you walked in the door. The staff who talked to me was very passionate and very caring. We talked for a long time. She let me just express a lot of things that I had to express about my mom and everything that I was looking for for my mom. She really touched base with everything. The apartment was beautiful. For the price, it's worth it. It's an apartment that your parents that worked so hard all their lives would want to retire in. It's everything she wanted and more. I haven't had their food, but by the time I went it was lunchtime. I've seen a lot of residents just sitting there enjoying their meal. It was nice. It was very clean. They have the independent building, and then right next door, not too far, you have the assisted living. They'll just move next door if they get to that point."

"Atria North Point was nice and very pretty. The rooms and people seemed nice, it's just that it's too big and has too many residents for my father. The visit was well, and I liked it. The staff was very nice, friendly, and informative, and it seemed like a really nice place. "
