"I had a nice tour at Sandy Springs Senior Homes LLC. It's a nice building. It's two floors and residents get three meals a day. The person that gave the tour was a nice lady. I had talked to her a few times on the phone and then when I met her, she was even nicer. They have activities like bingo and card games. They also have exercise rooms. The dining area was laid out nicely and spacious. The rooms were also big and spacious."

"I toured Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living. The lady there has still been in contact with me, even though I told her about my mom's issues right now. She still calls me every once in a while, and she's really cool. I like the personality more than anything in addition to the place being nice-looking and all that. They look like they want to be your buddy, not just medicate you, or take care of you. They have parties or trips planned. They had three meals a day. They supply some appliances."

"The Crossings at Conyers had a back entertainment area, a TV room, and a business center. The apartments had plank wood floors and an island in it. The bathrooms were nice sized, and the bedrooms were good sized. They had a security gate, which was important. I wasn't particularly impressed by the staff. They didn't seem as engaged. I went there one time and they said they would be back at a certain time, but didn't make it back. They had some activities and a backyard grill area. The apartments were a nice size. The walk-in shower was a nice size, and a washer and dryer came with the apartment. I saw a two-bedroom, but they also have a one-bedroom."

"It was a very beautiful place, and the apartments were extremely nice. It’s got a chapel built right in down on the first floor, a little movie theater for the residents where they show movies a couple of times a week, and a cafeteria which is nice, and the food is good. Very nice setting and very close to hospital and doctors offices. "

"Stonepointe 55+ Apartments was pretty much a new community, and the amenities were very nice. When you walk in, it had an aura of a nice hotel. The rooms were nice and up-to-date. They had a business center and a little workout area. The staff was pleasant. They didn't have a security gate, but the doors were secure. When you come up to it, you have to be buzzed in. They had an outdoor patio and grill area. You could get the washer and dryer if you wanted in your room. The room had granite counters and plank wood floors. It had stainless steel appliances. The staff seemed concerned and polite. They asked me questions about my needs."

"Antioch Manor seemed very nice, and we are already on their waiting list. I know they had transportation and community activities, but we were not able to do the tour of the location because of the timing of our visit. "

"I like that Park Springs has a doctor on staff full time and an amazing staff. I was able to try the food twice, and it was really good. The community layout was very nice too. They have a pool, a bocce court that they're currently building, all kinds of programs that you can do from art to gardening, and a lot of outings."

"I liked everything about The Retreat at Loganville. We did not have a meal there, but it was offered. We just did a quick tour. I was kind of familiar with that company because my mother had been in one that was very similar. So I didn't go to all of the common areas. I just went to the conference room and the visiting area and we saw a few rooms. They showed us one that was like your little basic studio-looking apartment. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. It was a pretty facility. The building was just a little older. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with it. It just wasn't quite as updated as some other facilities that same."

"I went to visit K & W Care Home Stone Mountain. I like the location, and the people that ran it were very nice and informative. The place was clean and it just seems to be an easy transitional home. The staff was very educated, and I believe they were very skillful. They have many amenities from what I saw. The room was a good size and was appropriate."

"Fourth View PCH was very nicely laid out and kind of secluded, which meant not a whole lot of traffic, which is good because my sister likes to walk. The staff was very professional and it had a really wonderful fireplace setting in the lobby area, which made it warm and inviting for residents to come out and socialize. It's pretty nice."

"I visited The Retreat at Madison Place. It was a very warm community, and it was well-kept. They had two security offices and a little outside community garden. I like that. The place was really warm, and the apartments were roomy. The information that they gave was very thorough. No matter how small the question, all the information was given, and it was done in a very professional manner. That makes a difference in an apartment. I saw a two-bedroom, the kitchens were roomy with a lot of space, as was the living room. They had a gym, a little workout area, a pool table area, and a community area. They also have a laundromat if you don't have a washer and dryer inside."

"I am currently residing in Hearthside Club at Tucker. I would describe it as a very, very friendly place. I think the management here is excellent. They have a fitness area, a library where we could do puzzles, a cafe and lounge which are not open yet, and a salon. Before the pandemic, we did exercise classes, tai chi classes, and bingo. They occasionally will provide food, like a free lunch for the residents, but it hasn't happened too often in the past year. The rooms are good sized too. I have a two bedroom apartment and it's slightly over 1000 square feet. "

"I only saw 1 room at Coventry Place. It was mostly put together and had a kitchenette. They had a bulletin board that had their list of activities on it. The people were very outgoing. It was clean and well-maintained. I saw the menu, and the food was excellent. The dining area was medium, but it was nice."
