"We're in the independent living level of Village Park, and we have our own freestanding house. The place looks very attractive, and the staff was very professional. But the whole key for us coming here is that it's very unusual to have an individual homes which this place has. There are activities, a salon, pool, and everything you can imagine. Our home here has 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, office and 2 baths. It was everything I expected, and I would give them a very nigh rating. We think that the service is well worth their price."

"I saw employees interacting with the seniors and their families that were visiting. There were many Alheizmers patients. I notice employees giving them being patient and compassionate. Some of the seniors were watching TV shows such as the golden girls others were doing karaoke or talking with each other. "

"I visited the memory care facility of Regal Pointe at East Cobb. They are good at listening, but quite salesy. When we were at this other place we were also touring, the person there knew a lot of the names of the people and asked somebody questions like have they drank water, and then asked somebody on the staff to get them water. As we're touring this place, though, we saw somebody there standing, nobody was with her, her mouth hung open, but the person we were touring with didn't say hi or address her. He said excuse me and walked around her and then closed the door. He told me sorry and that he had to close the door because she might come in. This is a person who knows who she is, so that didn't feel great to me. He really listened to me and talked about how he got into this because of his own parents. However, after we toured the rest of the facility, and as we were going into the memory care, he said, "This is going to be really sad". I feel like that's how he sees it, and projecting it like that felt like he didn't respect the people who were in that wing. The room size was fine, but I think my biggest concern was that there was an overpowering smell of urine. I would expect that there'll be some urine in some places, especially since it's lunch and on a memory care wing where there's going to be a lot more incontinence. Other than that, the dining area looks satisfactory, and the parking was easy. I would say that on the assisted living side, it was clean with interesting facilities and activities. However, the memory care side was just depressing. My grandparents were in a nursing home through my teen years, and I'm not usually one to say I was triggered by something, but I was triggered by something there. I came home and literally sat in a chair for a while."

"I was just overwhelmed with their service at Brighton Gardens of Dunwood just to make sure that I was comfortable. The tour was very extensive. I talked to a nurse there who was very helpful, and she was basically the head rehab nurse. She had lots of questions about my father and actually called him and talked to him. I like the fact that there were dining facilities on each floor. Everyone seemed very helpful and very nice, and all the residents loved it. And it was a pleasant location; it is right next to where I work so I would have been very close to my father. "

"My mother moved into The Berman Commons in October of 2020. It was a good experience but I was frustrated with a cascade of changes in staffing for the next year plus. Since then it has been as close to perfect as I could hope for! The staff from Denise (CEO), to Nardos (D. of Nursing) to floor staff, admin and maintenance have been AMAZING! Their basic care was (of course) exemplary but it's all the extra things that really put my (and my mother's) experience over the top. From general flexibility to obvious and actual personal empathy, mother's level of care is everything I could ask for. The staff is not only professional but clearly take personal stake in the residences' well being and the extended families' comfort level. Transparency and heartfelt sentiment color all aspects of my experience with The Berman. I am so thankful that my mother is in such a great place! I extent a HUGE thank you to all the staff for their amazing level care and responsible custodianship! "

"I looked at Golden Rose Personal Care Home, it was laid out nicely. The only thing is that it's not a locked facility, and the individual I'm looking for a place for is a wanderer. They have an outdoor sitting area, but their outdoor area isn't secure for the residents and my friend could escape. If she didn't have that stage of dementia, this place would have been excellent. I like the location, it was very clean, very neat, and there are no odors. The dining area was very clean, everybody was eating. It was very good, it just wasn't what I wanted. Otherwise, it would have been one of the places I would want to put somebody in. The director was very, very helpful. We didn't go deep into the facility because when I first started talking with her, she explained the security there and we knew at that point that this was not going to be the facility for us. But we sat there and talked in general about what they offer. I could see the dining room from where I was, and the staff was very friendly. She was most helpful, she could have told me anything to get me in there, but she was truthful. They were upfront and honest."

"Parc was really nice and spacious. She likes the location, the way they were situated, and how the rooms were setup, but we were looking for a place that would accommodate what she needed and she was looking for at least two beds but what was holding her back was she wanted to be able to have her grandkids to stay overnight and most of them weren’t accommodating for that. But I would recommend the place. "

"We enjoyed the visit to Village Park Peachtree Corners. The person that we met with was very friendly and informative and did a nice tour of the facilities. We were impressed with the independent cottages that they have. They were very nice and the overall facility was nice. We were happy to see that they're planning improvements on the facility. They'll be putting in a bistro so that the place won't seem neglected. Overall, we like it a lot and everything we saw, we liked. We saw the grounds. They had 15 independent little cottages and we also looked at the main building which was 2 floors."

"I met with a woman named Michelle at Bellevue Village at Neese Road and she was phenomenal. She was very kind and empathetic, but not overly. She gave me the tour and the facility is very clean. The staff was interacting with the residents. It was very nice. Now they're under renovation and it's their memory care area that was getting it, but I can look ahead and see what their vision is and I think it'll be very nice when they're done. They had a very open dining area and it seemed to accommodate activities as well, which is a good thing, because then you have a lot more activities going on. They had a courtyard that was very nicely fenced. It had large trees beyond that. So, it gave a feeling of being kind of in the country or outdoorsy, which is something my husband needs. It has a nice little walkway. Everything seemed very secure. Their menus looked very good. There were a lot of smiling faces when we were there. Everybody spoke to me and they would excuse themselves. Like if they were talking to a resident, they would tell them first that they were going to talk to me. I thought that was a nice touch."
