The person who gave the tour at TerraBella Roswell's assisted living did a wonderful job. The facility is fine, and I would say it's doing what it's supposed to, although the outdoor space is very limited. They do have meals, and options if you don't like the meals. The person there said that a lot of times, people sort of rave about the food. There was a woman about my age, bringing in linens, pillows, and things for whichever loved one of hers was there. The person touring me checked in with her, asked how she's doing, and told her she's going to see her in a minute because we were wrapping up the tour. The doctor who works with the patients was there, and he seemed friendly. Anybody I met was polite. They were also active, like the person I was touring with was actively doing stuff with the patients in the living area. It was a lovely place. It was definitely more affordable than the other ones, so I think it would suit somebody who is looking for something nice but is on a limited budget. If we had less money, I would feel confident that my mother would be well taken care of there. The rooms were fine. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad. They seemed big enough and had what you would expect them to have. The dining area was nice and seemed adequate. It's a fairly small facility, so the dining was a little bit smaller, too, but it was lovely and perfectly fine. They were about to redo the front entrance way, which seems nice enough, but they were out to re-carpet it and get new furniture, as they maintain it well and keep it up. There was also no problem with parking. If you're in that price range, I think this place is more than adequate.

My wife is at TerraBella Roswell. The thing we like most about the place is the good ratio of caregivers to residents. It's a small size. There are 12 memory care residents and they have a helpful flexible attitude to try to make things work for my wife. They are very good. The community is not brand new, but it's clean and it's very satisfactory. It's not too fancy and not too new. There's a backyard wooded area. There are at least two or three large rooms where they can have live music. The upkeep is good. I'd like to see more activities for the memory care though.

My mother is in here. The staff was the biggest reason why we chose them. They all had longevity. Their sales director has been there 17 years and their head nurse has been there six years. All their staff with the exception of their kitchen people have been there for years and to me, that speaks volumes. They were extremely nice and I felt very comfortable with them. I would recommend it. It's small, so you certainly get personal care. It's not perfect, but overall they take care of my mom's needs. I don't worry about her. The food looks absolutely delicious, but there's so much of it. I don't know if the residents are overwhelmed or if they're just not used to eating that kind of food because it's very traditional Southern yummy food. They need to revisit their portion size because people are not eating it. I have tried things on her plate and everything has been very good. They're working on updating and making some changes in terms of their old items. The activities are fine for my mother, but if I were able to do a lot more, they're not enough.

It was wonderful. It offered all the things I was looking for. It had very good care, and I was very pleased with it. They really cared about the residents there, and they really wanted to see them live as well as they could, and I could see that in their care. They had really good rehab with a whole room of equipment. I also saw the residents out and active. Even though some were not able to walk, they were still active.

It was very pleasant, but we are not ready for that place yet. The lady who showed us around was very helpful and nice. She was very forthright with us, and we didn’t go through the whole walkthrough because we realized -- and she did also -- that was not what we were looking for now. They have plenty of games, sing along, and some old-fashioned hymn sings.

They already moved in and we liked how small it was. The people there seemed to be happy, and the caregivers we met were nice. They have a full schedule of daily activities. When we first visited, they had a bell choir playing in their lobby, so that was kind of intriguing. The residents were actively engaged in music; they go out and play in other places, too, so we liked that aspect. My father has gone to a baseball game and out to lunch. My parents liked the room size.

It is just two stories tall. You go up an elevator to go upstairs where there's a kitchen and an entertainment room. Downstairs, when you come in the front door, there's an entertainment room just past the office. I think it's upstairs where they have their snacks, popcorn, and bingo. They have entertainment that comes in and plays games. They have a garden out back where they can go and sit. They have a memory care unit back there and I think they can go out but not out of the property. It's nice.

We brought my parents over here. The deciding factor was their caring people. The people who work there are wonderful. They are just wonderful. Between my sister and I, we felt that this is the best to everything. The place is spotless. It smells nice. All the residents seem happy. I mean, it's a lovely place. In terms of activities, they have everything. They have people come in from outside. They go out on field trips. They have a physical activity every morning. They have films. They have all sorts of things available. The facility is very close to many things. There is a very big facility down the road that has doctors and labs.

When I visited, I was very pleased with everything the facility has to offer. The person that I spoke to was very, very nice. They were sending me different things that are going on and they do say that they have a lot of different activities for men which I was looking forward for my brother. It is also close to where I live which is factor too. They were able to show an apartment and they were laid out quite very nicely. The dining area seemed very, very nice. The people that work there all seemed very nice. I really like that the people are very friendly and it looked like it would be a good place to be.
