"I had a family member who resided at Sunrise assisted living facility. It was located in Sandy Springs, Ga. Not far the heart of Atlanta. The facility was very neat and clean. I was very surprised upon my first visit. The scenery is very relaxing and peaceful; there are places to sit outside under the shade with your loved ones. They allow you to bring food and gifts from outside to your loved ones. I was so happy and felt secure that my great grandmother was staying here. The staff was very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure that your loved ones are very well taken care of. The outside of this facility is very beautiful, it looks like a hotel! All of the amenities in this facility were amazing, so many things for the seniors to do and enjoy. I will recommend this facility to anyone who deciding to reside. "

"Sunrise at Buckhead is good, and so far we're liking it. There are no complaints on my mother-in-law's end. Communication is good. She's only been there for a short time, but they've been really good and really helpful. They have a courtyard, though I've never really seen it. With regards to the care, we have no complaints. She's there for assisted living, but they also offer a higher level of care."

"The ladies that run the Enrich Senior Living of Norcross were lovely people, but the location would be difficult for me to see my brother, because of the traffic going there. The room was extremely small, and that was the studio. They also have activities, but the number of people they interact with at any given time is much smaller, and that's due to COVID. The services they offer include help in clothing, bathing, and medications."

"My mother moved to the Regal Pointe at East Cobb. She started in the assisted living section and then moved to the memory care unit. They've been very helpful and transparent, and my mother's care has been very good. It's also a smaller facility, so it feels quite homey. Her original room was a two-room apartment with a kitchenette and a private bathroom. When she moved to memory care, it's a single-room suite, so it's essentially a studio with no kitchenette. It's just a room with a private bathroom. The memory care unit is a locked wing. The staff is familiar, though, because the same ones float from the residential assisted living area to the memory area. They have a lot of daily activities and weekly outings for the assisted living section, but that doesn't really apply to the memory care unit because it's more limited there. She could go on an outing with the memory care people, if I were with her, but I can't be with her because I'm working, so there's less in the memory wing. However, it's not necessarily bad. It's just more appropriate for where they are in their journey. In the memory care unit, there is a community room, which is like a living room area where they do activities. I'm not sure how often because I'm not there all the time, and they don't really post it up as they did in the assisted living section, where they had daily calendars that you could pick up, and they would tell you what was going on, hour by hour. They don't really do that in the memory care wing. The unit has its own dining room and its own kitchen, but the meals are made in a central kitchen, and then are brought over. They have a small kitchen area for whatever they're doing in there, but it's not a full meal prep."

"We used them in the past, and they are pretty awesome. It's a beautiful facility, and while we were there, they were revamping it. They provide excellent care and excellent family involvement. They had an excellent memory care facility, on-site physical therapy, visitations by your doctors and nurse practitioners, and they have the optometrist come in. They take patients to doctors' appointments, to eat, and to shopping. They have a lot of things that are for seniors."

"I visited Brookdale Roswell (formerly Chambrel at Roswell), and I liked it. It's located in an area that has a lot of land around it with a lot of trees, which makes it a little nicer than those place that are right in business areas. The people I had contact with were very pleasant. The rooms were quite adequate. I also liked that they had screened-in decks or patios. They serve 30 to 31 meals a month; when you've used your meals up, you pay extra. The lady I know spoke very highly of the place, which was why I went there to see it. They had all kinds of activities, like bingo and outings. Pets were allowed, but they had a separate pet fee. They had an upfront fee that's equivalent to one month's fee. Their one-bedroom monthly fee was $2,670, and the bigger one-bedroom was $2,995. "

"Atria North Point was very nice, it seemed to have a sunny atmosphere, and friendly staff. It was very impressive, immaculate and the amenities were top-notch. They provide meals, medication assistance, and they have a library, a TV room, and a dining room. For activities, they do trivia, movie nights, outings, and shopping."

"I toured Oaks at Tucker. The lady that gave me the tour was extremely helpful. She gave me knowledge of everything. We talked about their food and everything, and from what she told me, it was good. I feel like my mom would have been good there. The only thing that I would say that I didn't care for there was that you have to furnish your own room. I liked Oaks at Tucker. It was clean, but it didn't have as open of a feel as the other place. I like the dining area because it was set up like a restaurant-style. They have a mini gym and I like that so that they can exercise or whatever."

"The best thing about Holbrook Decatur was it was extremely nice. The worst thing was it was expensive. It was on the upper end of the budget. The only person I met was the person that was meeting us for the tour, and they were late and they were in a hurry. They were perfectly nice, but we had to wait in the waiting room for 15-20 minutes, and then they were in a hurry. The facility was brand new."

"Montclair Assisted Living has a beautiful setting. I went to see their assisted living and the facilities were okay but the rooms were small. The people who worked there were very helpful and kind. It's an older facility, but I think they do a great job. They also answered all of my questions."

"Atria Park of Tucker is our second choice. It's very homey and had a big list of activities. They had beautiful gardens for the residents to walk in. The apartments were comparable to the other community we liked. I only met a few staff members when I toured."
