"Sunrise of Decatur was very nice. I was given materials that I could send to my friend and she enjoyed it. Sunrise of Decatur was doing some upgrading. I liked the porch area. They have a walking path too, which I thought was neat. I liked the homes; however, my friend wouldn't be able to transfer herself from her wheelchair to the toilet just based on how the bathroom was set-up."

"This place is beautiful. It was clean and smelled nice upon entering . I was greeted by everyone I passed by. Cody the sales lady was awesome and showed me everything they have to offer . When I walked to the memory care side the activities lady was so nice and you can tell she Ives what she does . I met the Nurse there and didn’t even know she was a nurse because she was helping residents hands on and she seemed to passionate I thought she was a caregiver the way she was helping out . The ED Jacky was sweet to she came in and talked to me and gave me more detailed information on the community . Great place and I will be moving my family into this community "

"We choose Shekinah Home. The staff is really great, attentive, caring, and very friendly. The food is good, and they keep it very clean. "

"I couldn't be happier with the care my Mom receives at Sunrise. She has A LOT of needs and can be a challenge, but their staff (especially the head nurses) is patient and kind. The rooms are smaller than some other places but I feel that encourages her to leave her room and take part in activities and to socialize. She's is doing very well since she moved in 4 months ago and both of us couldn't be happier. "

"I went to PruitPlace Buckhead. They were in the process of doing some renovations, making it better. So it was nice. It was a positive feeling. The person giving the tour was very helpful. I didn't taste any food, but the dining area looked fine, and I met both of the chefs, the head chef and his assistant chef. They have activities like arts and crafts, physical therapy, and exercises. They have movies, television, and a library."

"My mother moved into The Berman Commons in October of 2020. It was a good experience but I was frustrated with a cascade of changes in staffing for the next year plus. Since then it has been as close to perfect as I could hope for! The staff from Denise (CEO), to Nardos (D. of Nursing) to floor staff, admin and maintenance have been AMAZING! Their basic care was (of course) exemplary but it's all the extra things that really put my (and my mother's) experience over the top. From general flexibility to obvious and actual personal empathy, mother's level of care is everything I could ask for. The staff is not only professional but clearly take personal stake in the residences' well being and the extended families' comfort level. Transparency and heartfelt sentiment color all aspects of my experience with The Berman. I am so thankful that my mother is in such a great place! I extent a HUGE thank you to all the staff for their amazing level care and responsible custodianship! "

"We visited Sunrise at Five Forks. They're caring. The place is very clean. The staff is very, very friendly. They tried everything they could to help us, but we just couldn't do it. Their rooms are perfect for people that can do things on their own, but we need just a little bit of assistance. They gave us scones. They were wonderful. The dining area was clean and spacious. When we got there, they were having an exercise class and there was a little group meeting in the bistro that was there. The person who gave the tour was wonderful, very helpful, and very informative."

"We toured Village Park Peachtree Corners. We really liked it, but it was just too far away from our house. It had a gorgeous facade, the staff was outstanding and helpful, and they helped us talk to the executive area director, and got over to the other place. The rooms were comparable to the other place, they had a pool, a gym, a nice food area, like a bistro area where you could get snacks if you missed a meal or just wanted something to eat. They had bingo going on while we were there, and it was social-distanced bingo, but they're making sure that the seniors have interactions. It was clean and maintained."

"The Addison of Sandy Springs is close to where we live, it is fairly new, and it's beautiful, bright, big, and friendly. I think it's perfect for my mom's living situation. We are thinking of moving her to their assisted living facility. The choices of rooms were nice, and the price was not too bad, either. I think she would like it there. A great deal of why we are considering it is its proximity to where we live. It's so close that we can drive there in 10 minutes. The place is well-lit, modern, and it has a very nice dining area. The reception area is really nice, and the perks are nice, too. They even have a private dining area for birthdays or something like that, so if my mom can't get out, we can use the private dining area. They have a lot of activities. They have a theater room, bingo, game nights, and all kinds of different things. The place is really inviting. I met the chef, and he's a good dude. I've met a couple of the residents who are there, too, and they were really nice and very kind. The person we did the tour with was fantastic. We were supposed to be there at 4:30, but didn't get there until about 5:15. She was very kind. She waited and served us well. The rest of the staff, the ones I met, were also very kind and very cordial. They seemed really concerned about the people who lived there. I did not sample their food, but it smells delicious. They invited me to come up and have a bite to eat, and the dining room was full of smiling faces, so I think they did a good job."

"My father is now at the Mann House. They are very friendly, very thorough, and very caring."

"Brighton Gardens of Dunwoody was a nice facility. All the staff seemed very nice too, so that was cool. They had everything together and they were probably our top choice if everything hadn't happened with families stepping up. It seemed like a great facility. I didn't have any issues with it. We saw the dining room. They had a couple of activity rooms that they showed us, too. The apartments seemed nice and clean. We saw dinner going on, and the food looked good. The people seemed to be enjoying it. The only drawback is that they were expensive."

"My mother-in-law just moved into the memory care area of Belmont Village Buckhead. They are extremely organized and are attentive to the families and the residents' needs. They have great strategies for those that have special needs and so they've been very good so far. They have professional musicians come in, they have wine and cheese, movie nights, and general holiday-type things plus occasional bus trips. The rooms have good sunlight and everything's very clean. They've got a nice entryway to the fireplace for gatherings, as well as community and dining spaces."

"Heartis Buckhead is absolutely gorgeous. It would be like living on a cruise ship, but the price is way beyond what we would think about paying. It's about twice what we were looking for. The grounds were beautiful. The building itself was beautiful. It's very modern with a lot of glass. There's a rooftop pool and a grill. The dining hall is huge, and there are lots of spaces to sit and talk. It is just beautifully designed. As for the staff, they answered all the questions."

"It is a very nice community. It is very clean, and the caregivers seemed to be genuinely interested in the residents. My mom is in the memory care part of the facility, and they seem to have an adequate amount of activities for them. The food seems to be good. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with what has transpired so far. There are a couple of really nice courtyards that the residents can utilize that are full of flowers. One has a waterfall, and there are rocking chairs on the front porch. It is open, and it is very light. Parking is a little bit of an issue, but that is basically it. The rooms are of good size, and the bathrooms are extremely large. It is nice and bright. The halls are extremely wide, and the colors are nice. They do a lot of things with magazines. They have a frequent church type service that is handled by volunteers. There are sitting and stretching exercises for most of the people that are in wheelchairs. The memory care people can participate in the events and activities that are primarily for the assisted living group. They have a full time activities director that is always doing something that is fun for them. It is a nice place, and I think I made a good choice. "
