"I'm moving into Silver Comet Village. I like the fact that it is truly inspirational, and I have a lot to do there. The layout was very easy to follow and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The people there were truly a blessing to see and to meet. The food was excellent. There's more than enough room, just really spacious, and it's just really good. They have a swimming pool, they have a library to go in to read or to write, whatever you want to do there, and they have exercises available. They've got a massage room where you can get a massage on your body and there's a room to go and play cards."

"The Lodge at Bridgemill was a little bit nicer than the other place I went to. It was high as far as monthly payments, but they included everything. I just wasn't wiling to pay that much. The staff was very nice and very professional. The place look nice and it looked like the grounds were very well kept and looked beautiful. I saw a tennis courts driving in, which might also be a bocce ball or paddle ball. The dining area looked nice, but I didn't try any food. The outdoor spaces were nice if you wanted to walk around. The staff was excellent and very helpful. It haven't seen the units, but the maintenance and outside were nice."

"Vickery Rose Retirement Community was friendly and welcoming. The manager was very kind and open. The person at the front desk was also very kind. They gave me a calendar of activities, and it seemed like they had a variety of things to do each day that involved the mind, body, and spirit. They had physical activities, mental activities, social activities, game rooms, and a theater. There were lots of opportunities for self care, like getting your hair done, your feet done, or getting therapy. The apartments were good size. They were bigger than some I've seen. I could see myself living there."

"I toured Creekside Pines. Kim, who did the tour with us, did an excellent job. The facilities are phenomenal. I would love to live there. I just can't afford it as far as my budget goes, but everything was just absolutely spotless, clean, and well maintained. The grounds were well maintained. It was just an absolutely beautiful facility. We checked the dining area yesterday, and we got our food to-go, and the food was very good. The dining area was very comfortable and cozy with plenty of rooms to make new friends during the meals. We saw the exercise room, and there was a resident who was getting some coaching during their physical therapy or physical activity. We saw the beauty shop that they have on the third floor, and that was really cool. The malt shop was not active at the time we saw it, but it was a very cool malt shop. Everything was phenomenal."

"I liked Chambrel for my father because they were clean. They're very beautiful and they provide everything. They're just very expensive. We just can't afford them. We'll recommend it to people who can afford it. "

"Sandy Springs Senior Homes, LLC was a nice place. They were doing some work around there to make sure that it was even nicer. It was a pretty decent spot if that was the environment you wanted to live in. It was clean. Linda was a sweetheart. She was courteous. She made sure I understood everything to the fullest extent. She showed me three different properties, and she was just kind. The dining area was simple. It was not as upscale as the other place, but it was decent. They told me about bingo, and I know they got a hairdresser there. She told me they have a media room. As far as exercise, I didn't see one."

"My parents love Sanford Estates and have been there for about a month and a half. The people that work there have been really gracious, and the managers and staff are very friendly. The food is outstanding. The place is brand new and really clean. They do housekeeping and laundry service. It’s been a really good transition. They have a movie theater and kitchen studio where they do demonstrations. They have a gym, a little chapel, a library, a computer room, and an office. They have an outdoor living space that looks like a fireplace with little gardens that they can plant in. They have really large balconies on the units. The apartments are a nice size with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. That’s the one thing that we had a hard time finding, so that was a big plus."

"My mom is in Cottonwood Estates now. It's a brand new facility. I found them through an online senior directory. I chose this place because the price includes everything, e.g. meals, transportation, laundry, housekeeping, etc. The apartment that she has there is great! She is really enjoying it. It doesn't have a kitchen so she has to eat in the dining room with everyone else and that's okay with us because my mom doesn't really want to cook. Also they provide three chef-cooked meals a day. Regarding activities, she has been doing a couple of things here and there. "

"Village Park was comparable to the other place. The marketing person was very good. She spent some time with us. It was a good tour. We loved it. There were separate homes on the property; that's what my in-laws were really looking for. Those were very nice. The place was very clean and new. Everything was upgraded. They had an outdoor picnic area, a lot of things in the pool area, ice cream socials, trips, and a theater. The biggest thing that I like about them is that they have a room where you can have your family in. It is bigger than your apartment or your villa. It has a full kitchen and a balcony. The residents can just sign up and use it, so that is cool. It is a big perk."

"I visited this community yesterday. I must say, once I walked in the door, I felt at home. It smelled nice, had beautiful music playing, was very clean, and most importantly the staff was very welcoming. I would highly recommend this community for your loved one. And I'm a tough cookie!!!"

"We chose The Holbrook Decatur for my father, but because of the current situation it's still closed. The staff is very professional and it's a nice place to live. The people who work there interacts, even when my sister and I just went there to walk around, the people we met were very nice and very happy to be there. I watched the staff talk to the residents and they know them well; it's a good feeling. They have aerobics class and people who work there would join in too, which is nice. We saw a beautiful pool for water aerobics which was easy to get into. There's also a pool where you get lowered into a pool and you walk into a treadmill, and we saw people there with one helper assisting each person there. My father's room is about 600 square feet with a nice size living room, nice size bathroom, and the kitchen is a little small but he's not going to be cooking there. His little kitchen has everything but a stove, and you can bring a microwave to cook on if you want to. But three meals are included, there's also a bistro, and you can get a snack any time you want to. You can just walk into the shower, you don't have to step up into anything, there's plenty of storage in the shower and there's also a bench. It met the chef, the food sounds very good because the people were complimentary."

"Not only is the atmosphere and food excellent there are always great activities to participate in such as various games, trips, and exercise classes. Not only is it good from a health standpoint but also to help keep your mental health in tact."
