"I visited the Parc, and they have adequate parking. They have independent living and assisted living. It is a gorgeous facility -- very convenient -- and it’s right off Junction Perry. It’s expensive and upscale. They have a grand piano that anybody can play, and I think they have people come in and play. The staff was very nice. It was beautiful and lovely. They offer skilled nursing, live in service, and transportation. For what they offer, I think they are excellent. "

"I think Silver Comet Village is about three years new. It's very nice and clean. The staff was overly informative and nice. Everybody that was there was nice. It seemed like they were more of a family. They have so much going on. The facility is big, nice, and clean, and it's accommodating. I did not tour the assisted living, but the independent area is nice. Parking is accommodating for the building. They have four floors and one- and two-bedroom apartments. It's very nice, and I just fell in love with the staff. I felt like I was moving in, and that's just how they approached me once I entered the doors. It was my first visit, and I was so impressed with that community. I met two staff, and one of them spent so much time with me. It wasn't a quick interview or a quick tour. I was there for two hours, and she was so patient. I looked at the menu, I saw the dining area, but I didn't get the chance to meet the chef. I came about an hour after lunch, so I didn't get the chance to be there during the meal. The facility is beautiful. It's so warm and so friendly. Even the guests were friendly. I've been looking for a place now for over a year, and I have never attended a tour where I saw activity going on. But, with me being involved in senior communities for the last 10 years, that was the most active participant activity that I've ever seen. Even in the senior community where I am, participants normally don't do more than four or five at each activity, but they had a full house yesterday for that. That impressed me yesterday, the participation in the activities that they had going. I was there for two activities. They had a performance of someone to entertain, and he was singing. And the second one was bingo, and both of them was full house participant to me from what I've seen. It's just a beautiful facility."

"Creekside Pines Retirement was very good. They had good facilities and the people were nice. They showed us around and let us have lunch, which was good. We met a lot of residents, which was good. We thought it was a nice place. They had nice rooms. It was an older place, and the rooms weren't the nicest we saw, but they were decent. They had a gym. They had onsite activities and then they took people to offsite activities."

"We had a favorable impression of Brookdale and got a lot of information. It was a nice place with low ceilings and a lot of things going. The cottages were far enough away and removed from the central area. We don't relish the idea of going outside to get to regular meals."

"Sandy Springs Senior Homes, LLC was a small community. They have a lot of extra touches that I didn't find in some of the other communities, most notably someone available 24/7 at the front desk for an independent living community. I thought that was very important. The size of the units was very nice. There are close to about 67 residents, so just the small nature of the community was more conducive for my mom. The socialization and the services that they offered I thought were a little bit more personalized. Also, they have everything my mom needs."

"Sanford Estates was very nice, band new, and beautiful. I went back for their open house. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and was willing to help. The location was good. The rooms were all brand new, gorgeous, and decorated well, although they were very small. They had a good social director. I have already recommended them."

"Cottonwood Estates was a very nice place that had all of the things we were looking for, except for continuing care program from independent to assisted, but you could buy assistance to come in. They changed management frequently last year. Other than that, I would have chosen it. The facilities were very nice, the dining rooms are centrally located, and you can get from one place to another fairly easily."

"Village Park Senior Living has a separate theater building. It has about the same number of units as the other Village Park, but they have more land. It just opened in April. The staff was excellent. They have villas and cottages on the property and building apartments. They have a pool, an exercise room, a little bar for happy hour, a little cafe, and a hair salon."

"My mother recently moved to Noble Village, and it has been nothing short of a great experience. The staff from the top down has been so helpful, caring and genuine. I would definitely recommend this community! "

"I toured Ashwood Meadows Gracious Retirement Living, and I liked it. It was the one that I was leaning toward because I'm only willing to go up to $3,000 a month, and they were closer to that range. They were also making an effort to make everything possible, but right now, I'm holding off at this point. There are two meals a day. They had some crab bowls that they invited me to, along with their tour. They had a refrigerator, microwave, and stove, and they had the setup for a washer and dryer as well. The food was good. The overall facility was extremely clean. They had a nice sitting room and provided a workout area for the residents."

"I very much liked Belmont Village Johns Creek. I like their open venue. It's like a restaurant style with a three hour period that you could go dine in. The problem there is that they didn’t have an opening other than a two bedroom at the time of our visit. Overall, the visit was very nice. The staff did a great job in giving me a tour and showing me some different rooms. "

"Celebration Village Forsyth was a beautiful environment. It was a great-looking campus and the people all seemed happy. The staff were very kind and caring. Everything was just beautiful. From the common rooms to the apartments, everything was very nice. It made us feel like it was a good place to live and everyone was very nice and helpful. All the common rooms were very clean and kept nicely. They have schedules posted all around for what's going to be happening there. They have a movie theater that is very clean and beautiful. It was empty at the time, but it looked like it was just kept very well. There's nothing that we saw there that was not taken care of. Overall, everything was great."
