"Park Springs - A Life Plan Community has both assisted and independent living. My tour was pretty thorough, I went through all the apartments, they're very up-to-date, and everything's pleasant. They have a lake there in the community that you can walk around, so it has outdoor space to walk. They had a pool, a full gym, a very nice dining area, multiple dining areas, a beauty salon, and they had a gift shop. They had several different restaurants on site. One was like the main dining hall, but another one was more like a clubhouse, and then the last one is more like a cafe. So the place was pretty accommodating, and everything looked pretty clean and updated. They have several buildings with independent housing. The staff members were pleasant, they were very helpful, and they pretty much answered all the questions I needed. So they were very knowledgeable about the facility."

I remember seeing a family of 6 visiting there loved one and there was more than enough room to fit all of them. Also the food was prepared by a chef "

"When I volunteered here it was very calm and quiet most of the seniors were eating a small snack or watching television. I did not observe much one on one interaction between the staff and residents. "

"I have my husband at Skylark Adult Day Center of Cobb two days a week. So far, it's fine. Every month they put out a calendar of events, they feed them breakfast, lunch, and a snack, they take people offsite for exercises, they have an art program, there's an outdoor area for people who like gardening, and after snack they have discussion time and quiet time where they can watch television. They try to keep people engaged and have activities planned for them. There are special days where they celebrate birthdays. My concern with my husband is that he requires somebody to watch him and be there with him because he has had several strokes, so he's a high risk for falling. When I came to pick him up today, the nurse was leaving as I was coming in. She let me in, but my husband was walking by himself, coming to the door to meet me. The attendant was on the phone in a separate room behind glass where she could see him. During normal hours, from 9:00 until 3:00, it's fully staffed. They have a lot of staff for the attendants, but it was 4:30 when I picked him up. It appeared that everybody had left and so people were sitting in chairs waiting for their families to pick them up. The first time I left him there, he tried to get up and he fell over with the chair and everything else. During the primary hours, they have a good staff to attendee ratio. The staff is very caring, and the facility is clean."

"I am a current client at daily haven. I have been here for 9 years this June. This place was a answered prayer for me and my wife. I suffered a stroke 10 years ago. I was 51 years old when I had my stroke and my wife and I were in the best years of our life. I was depressed. I was bitter. I had lost my will to live. I depended on people when I wished I could do things myself. Daily haven helped me so much in these 9 years. I cannot verbally say it but I love them! The staff are wonderful! There are negative reviews on here and it bothered me. I felt the need to share my story. I know previous staff members whom needed to leave and the owner asked them to leave and they were ugly to her. They should be ashamed for putting a review up like this on this wonderful place. I am glad I had the opportunity to do a honest review."

"If you desire to take your loved-ones to a place where they are cared for and the staff really cares ... Sarahcare of Snellville is the place. My Mother was cared for at the facility for several months and I loved the staff and the facility. The director was amazing and generally cared for every person. You can trust you family will be really cared for here ..... You can't say that for every place."

"If you have a loved one in need of an adult daycare program I highly recommend Peachtree Christian Health in Duluth, Georgia. It serves adults of all ages with dementia or other health impairments, and provides a safe, caring and engaging environment. My mom looks forward to attending each day (Monday - Friday) and comes home more alert and happy. They have meaningful activities all day beginning at 9:30 to 5:00 and are served a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack. I am personally thrilled and grateful to have found a reliable and supportive program with compassionate staff and volunteers!"

They were able to spend plenty of time and not rush anyone while still providing excellent personal care on an individual level. The staff were very kind and really knew what they were doing.
