"The people at Lakeside Senior Living were very friendly. The unit that my mom is moving into will be completely remodeled with all new appliances. She'll have activities to do and she'll be able to meet with people. It is just a very beautiful, quiet community. The staff was very knowledgeable and very caring. We saw some residents building puzzles, but they would also have bingo nights, and a person that would come in and play on the piano during lunch. The dining area was very nicely done. It's got a piano, nice tables all set up around, and everybody seemed to be happy. They were singing a little bit as they were eating."

"My mother is in Southern Senior Living. I like it. They're really good and they do a good job. They have home-cooked meals. Everything is good so far. The staff members are really friendly. I went into the front room. They're kinda strict on the COVID right now as far as people going in and out of the place. I haven't even seen the room that she's staying in, but I know that she's in a room with her best friend. I put her in a room with her best friend last week."

"Oxton Place was a nice facility. It was clean and all the clients seemed to be happy. They had activity rooms, therapists, and they have some rooms where you can have private access for the family."

Activities were lacking as a whole, but in fairness, most of the residents would not have been able to participate unless they had one-on-one help. The staff was considerate and helpful, food was good, and dispensing of medication timely. These were the things that were important to us at the time. "
