"Wyndham Lakes is really good, the food too, the rooms are spacious. The lady who gave a good tour told us about all of the things there; have a lot of positive things. The staff is very attentive and everything. My brother has a 1-bedroom and it has a refrigerator, cable, they gave him 3 meals a day, physical therapy, and spiritual service. We will bring the bed and the TV but the room has everything and the bathroom is so cute. They have bingo, a movie theater, cafeteria, salon, a barbershop, they have 3 places to eat or cafeterias. It's well-equipped, safe, and secure. The staff is very patient and answered all my questions. They have a lot of food to choose from."

"I'm staying at Brookdale Mandarin. I get some assistance, but I'm not an invalid. I can still move around. It's been great, the people here are so kind and gracious. The staff are also good. The food is good. I wish I could eat all that I wanted, I just don't eat that much. The activities are kind of bad right now with COVID, but I have no complaints. I'm getting what I paid for."

"Grand Living at Tamaya is very pretty but very expensive. It had the exact same layout as the other Grand Living place, using the same cabinetry and everything. The common areas and the library looked exactly the same. They had the same piano, too. It was very nice. The people who assisted us were very nice, very friendly, and very helpful. They answered all of our questions. If we asked somebody a question and they didn't know it, they knew who to ask so that we would get an answer right away. They had appetizers for us on the day that we went, and they were really, really good. They have a swimming pool, a game room, and a bar. They had a beautiful place where they did painting, and there was somebody who was teaching people how to paint. They did some theater stuff there, too. They know what they're doing. They keep everything clean, modern, and updated as much as possible. Their staff is very well trained."

"I will move into HarborChase of Mandarin. The main reason I chose it was that it's close to home. Everybody was professional and answered all my questions. It was all very good. The food was very nourishing. It wasn't the same food everybody gets out of things. I had lobster, my brother-in-law had filet mignon, so I don't think it's probably something they give to everybody."

"Dad moved into Palagio Senior Living last February. They're wonderful. We were able to see my dad right off the bat. I'm just very happy with them. It's located in a very good place. He has four daughters, and everybody could visit him because the location is very easy. I'm so glad I put him in there. He's in memory care. It's very nice for an Alzheimer's community, and it's very big, open, and light. It's very, very bright in there, and Alzheimer's people cannot be in the dark, so it is very bright, which is very cheerful. He's done very well, and I liked that a lot. They do have a lot of activities, which I'm very happy to see, and they do have a lot of stuff available for him to do. I've seen them doing crafts, I've seen that they have walking, and some of them go on bus rides to get them out and about, which is very nice. Every morning they always have a verse which they post. They do a lot of things, and I like that a lot. I just like the fact that we're able to go see him without it being like Fort Knox."

"It has a wonderful atmosphere, a lot of activities, very caring staff, and my mom got excellent care there. She was there on respite care in their assisted living for about 45 days. The facility is beautiful and in a convenient location. The staff was excellent, everybody's very helpful, and we had no problems with them. The food was also good. They had music every week and they had a lot of games that they played. My mom didn't participate, but they had them available."

"My mom moved into Anthem Lakes. I like the service. The staff is very friendly. There's a nurse there 24 hours a day. It's just a great facility. I'm very pleased with it. The food is excellent. They have a well-balanced, three-course meal served there. They have activities going all day, every day. They have bingo, crafts, trivia, football game parties, a little happy hour on Fridays, and social events. They have events where they bus the residents twice a week off campus to the store or to physician appointments."

"The Cove at Marsh Landing was very, very clean. They got a great staff and they gave a great tour. The sales rep was well-spirited. She spoke highly of the place, was knowledgeable, and was empathetic in understanding the situation. I felt it was a smaller community because there were only 20 apartments on the memory care side. So, I liked the employee-to-resident ratio. To me, it seems pretty high, comparatively speaking to some other ones. They had a patio with grassy areas and trees, bushes, and a pavilion."

"We visited the Seagrass Village of Fleming Island. It's a good location, and the representative who helped us was very clear and knowledgeable. My mother will be moving to their independent living community, and she will be in a 1-bedroom apartment. I saw the dining area, and they have amenities like the swimming pool and the weight room with physical therapists on staff."

"When we visited, they only have the 1-bedroom available. The rooms looked very nice. They gave us cheesecake to take home, and it was delicious. They had a library, an ice cream parlor, a gym, a physical therapy area, a movie theater, and a quest game room."

"I toured The Addison of Oakleaf. Carly was the person I worked with. She was very knowledgeable about the area and very easy to work with. The size of the rooms was nice, with more than enough room for somebody who was single and staying there by themselves. It's really nice. It was all clean, and there was no bad smell or anything like going to a nursing home or places like that. There was no smell at all. There was a smell, but it smelled good, like it was fresh. The dining area was nice. It was clean, and everything was good. The people there seemed like they enjoyed it. The parking has plenty of space."

"It was lovely. I think the people that work there were very kind, very caring, and very hospitable. It was a very nice place, but my father is not ready. I just have all positive things to say about them. They're very kind and caring. Even the people that I met on the weekend went out of their way to help me. They spent a lot of time explaining things to me and showing me things, and I really appreciated it. I have no complaints at all. My father had trouble walking and they even were going to be able to make accommodations for him to be close to where the dining room is, so I really appreciated that. They had a calendar with things every day. I was worried if he was there, he might just stay in his room, and the staff said they always go and check on their residents and try to get them involved in things, so they don't just leave them there. This would have been the one that I would've chosen because it was so close to my home and because I really just like it."
