"My relative is at Harborview Satilla. They have nursing care facilities. I've seen her meals, and they looked very good. She is a picky eater, but she eats all of them. The ambience of the facility is pretty. I think it's a good facility. As far as my experience with nursing homes, it meets medium to high standards. The nurses come in quite frequently to check on the patients. The overall setting is good. It's not depressing; it's very uplifting. They have activities. I've seen residents in their dining area playing games and doing things. The staff members are very cordial. They acknowledge you, and they're very active with the patients. They're not all just sitting in their station; they're working the halls and they're with the patients. They have also worked with my relative's payments as far as the insurance she has. Everything has been solid. They schedule calls with us to give us updates. The heads of each department are all on the phone giving you updates, and I like that a lot."

"My husband is now living at Baptist Village - J. Olan Jones Healthcare Center. The staff is very helpful. My husband is in good care. His anger is showing through, so they have to watch him a little closer, but he's doing okay. And it's been working out okay. He is not happy with the food, but they feed him good meals. He has breakfast, lunch, and supper or dinner. The food is good, but he's just a picky eater. The facility is nice and clean. All of the other residents seem happy there. It's a comfortable place to be. And I'm happy with it. They have a salon. They have a dietician that I see. He's only been there a week, so I'm not familiar with all of it."

"Our church is connected with Harborview Pierce, so I've been there multiple times as a visitor. They're clean as they could be, and the staff is good. They're helpful, friendly, and caring. For activities, I know that they do puzzles. Their dining area was clean, and there was various staff sitting with patients that needed assistance eating."

"My dad is a resident of Twin Oaks Convalescent Center. It was good. The nurses are nice. The administrators don't have an idea of what goes on because they're always in their office. The staff was very good to my daddy, the nurses and CNAs, who took care of him. They need to work on more activities for the residents and make sure they shut the door so the residents don't walk out and then try to kick them out because that's what happened. They left the door open, and my dad walked out and they kicked him out for that reason. He had a shared dream. And they are not a memory care unit. They're advertised as memory care, but they're not memory care. So, they're a nursing home and they don't specialize in memory care."

"This facility was a smaller facility located in Homerville, GA. My parents are from there and decided to place her there so they could visit daily with her. The facility is older than some of the facilities that are in the surrounding cities, but it was up to date and extremely clean. The staff there paid close attention to all patients and provided excellent care. They seemed to genuinely care about each patient and did not treat them simply as a job. There were no other facilities that we would have chosen for her to receive care from. "
