"I have had several friends who lived in Taylor Care Center and stayed there until the end of their lives. Most of their family members said they were so pleased with the care they provide; that's why I chose it for my husband, too. He's been there since January 27, and it's been a good experience. The rooms are kind of drab. I think they just need to freshen them up, but the staff has been excellent, responsive, and professional. In fact, he's getting a manicure right now, so he's really happy. He has had a few meals, and so far he said they tasted pretty good."

"I visited Life Care Center Of Jacksonville, but they have a waiting list. The place is pretty nice, although they need more staff members just like every place. It's a newer place with very clean amenities. They're mostly a rehab. There's very few rooms, like only around five. I tried their food when my in-laws were in there, and I would rate the food a four. They even have two cute ice cream parlors; it was the cutest thing."

"Mother is at Southpoint Terrace, and her care is going fine. The staff is wonderful; they’re doing their job. They have a lot of things in there for the whole month of different days. They play bingo, they do different kinds of crafts -- like she made a pumpkin -- and they have music and church services. It’s a very clean facility. They keep the floor shining and buffed. When they clean the rooms, they take all of the furniture out, clean the rooms, and put the furniture back in there. Her beautician would see how clean it is. She has a beautician that would do her hair for me. They have a beauty salon on site, but my mother is very particular; she won’t let them touch her hair -- no one but her old beautician who's been doing her hair for years. She has no complaints, and she loved the meals there. My sister told me how she enjoyed her dinner yesterday; she ate all her food, she got a good appetite, plus she has gained weight since she’s been there. "

"I would like to thank the Staff of this facility for the loving care and kindness they gave to my family member while she was there for rehabilitation 3 different times within a 2 year time frame. I have had a Mother, Aunt, Aunt in Law and several friends whose family have been there and have nothing but good things to say about this facility. While the location is a turn off for most people, I found the facility to be clean, comfortable and very homelike. The staff was exceptional and were always courteous, kind and helpful to my Mother and all of us when we visited. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. "

"I currently have a family member that is a resident at Park Ridge. I visit her frequently (atleast once a week). Each time I arrive I am greeted warmly by the staff, that take the time to learn my name and details about our family. The facility is well maintained, and I can tell that my relative is in good hands. There is a nurse on staff to help with any health issues, and the facility is located very close to a local hospital. They even have an activities department that gives my family member and her new friends at the facility many options for creative outlets. I would definately recommend this facility to others. Maybe I will run into you at a visit! "

"My mother spent 8 wonderful years at St. CATHERINE'S WHICH SHE ALWAYS IDENTIFIED AS "home".the last 1.5 years were in the memory unit and while my mother had a very social personality, that helped her enjoy beauty shop, meals ,others visiting. I told the nurses and staff that my mother lived as long as she did (89)because of their attentiveness, hugs,care,and love. It may not be newest in physical space, but having moved my mother from GA where the laws for care are horrific ,to here and then 3 times to get to St, Catherine's , I thank God and the Angels and bless friends who helped get her there . Dr.Narvel who cared for her many of those years And all those who adored her made my life easier since I had to continue working, snd couldnt take over the 24 hr care suddenly needed following a stroke. When mother passed they annouced "she wouLd be leving at 10 am" Over the p a, and people formed along the hall paths all the way to take my motherr out the front door,to the portico, the intent being she would go out the door ,the same door she came in,with the hall lined with staff,housekeeper,nurses,admin. Patients, visitors all to bid her farewell and for me --one of the most loving snd breautiful mome nts ,healing and showing the love and care for our family and my beautiful mother. No other facility does this and is just part of the extraordinary loving thoughtfulness that is coupled eith fine medical care. I visited each day and where any of my concerns were always heard, reported back to me as needed, and where they kept my mother so happy And as healthy as possible. I was there every day,so It hurts me to see negative reviews since I know what we went through before St. Catherine's and I am forever appreciative and grateful for it. They are all so remarkable and work hard to make all outstanding and I am forever grateful to them. "

"After looking at the options, we moved my mom to Regents Park. Unlike some places, there were no bad odors and everything was open and bright. Mom has been there for three months, and I visit almost everyday. The facilities are clean and regularly monitored. The personnel at the facility have been very good. I met the nurse manager, Ciara, on the first day, and talk to her most days. She is always ready to hear my concerns and take action when needed. There are several of the CNAs that regularly care for my mom. Jenny and Victoria are very good, and really look after mom. CNA Shirlee is outstanding. She always makes sure my mom is as comfortable as she can be and has everything she needs. I often joke that if my mom moves we’re taking Shirlee with us. I have had occasion to speak to Ashley, the Executive Director about an issue. She was very professional and listened to and resolved my issue. All in all having to put a loved one in a facility is hard. The people I’ve dealt with at Regents Park have made that process a little easier for me."

"My brother was in the Dolphin Point facility for over 8 weeks this year. It is a beautiful facility. The lobby looks like a 5 star resort and absolutely spotless. The patients rooms are large and immaculate also. He liked all his rehab instructors having physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy daily. Having been in another facility preciously with poor results, he came home from Dolphin Point stronger and feeling much better. He now goes to outpatient rehab there and the facility van picks him up and returns him home after treatments. All of the people I have had contact with there have been caring and extremely helpful. We are very grateful to them for all their help."

"My mother is a resident at Terrace of Jacksonville. She is getting very good care. The staff know her name and treat her with kindness and respect. They are attentive to our questions and concerns about her care. She is in long term care and is having continuing rehab, which is helping her to stay involved and she is happier. "

"The person who accommodated us was great. She was the reason that we really considered it. She was really helpful and really nice. The rooms were small, and they had no private rooms. They even had rooms with four people in them. My husband would start out in a room with two other people, but she said that when one comes available with only one other person, she would move him. They take them outdoors and fishing sometimes. They had a dining room, and the residents seemed happy enough. Signature was recommended to me, and once we get him there and if it was working for him, I would recommend it. "

"All Saints creates a calming atmosphere, with its friendly staff unique environment and clean facilities. Covered outside seating provides a visiting area for either friends and family, or the residents to enjoy the day. Large television rooms are available, with room to maneuver with wheelchairs and/or walkers. A community room is adjacent to the dining hall, where bingo, parties and religious services are held. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and cares about the residents. They remember birthdays, honor the memories of relatives lost and encourage the residents to better themselves through physical therapy. The therapists create physical therapy plans to increase the ability of each resident. This is a clean and safe facility of which I place my full stamp of approval. Knowing my grandmother is in caring environment at this period of her life certainly provides needed comfort. This facility, both a nursing and assisted living facility is an extremely well run home. "
