Sometimes they are short staffed and have a lot of residents to take care of but she's in the ball. I love it when she's here and on my hall. Makes the evening so much easier and better. "My grandmother was at Encompass Health. It was extremely clean and nice, had wide hallways, and attentive staff. I had nothing but good marks all the way around. They had between three and four hours of physical therapy each and every day for their patients guaranteed. The place was phenomenal."

"The rehabilitation Dept. is A+++ The Trainers are top notch, they are caring, patient, and work with you at any level you need. They took me from a wheelchair and unable to do anything for myself, to a normal life. I can now cook a meal, walk from one end of my home to the other. I cannot thank them enough. "My aunt loved Bridgewater Park when she was there for rehab. She would love to go back, so I was going to go and talk with them to see if they have a bed for her in their long-term care facility. It was wonderful. I went on a weekend and they took time to show me the facilities, the gym where they did their PT, and the rooms and what they looked like. Each room was a private room, which my aunt loved. While she was there, the care was excellent even though she was a little feisty. I liked that place, so I was disappointed that they weren't able to take her at that time for long-term care. They had a full calendar of activities. She just chose not to participate. The staff was excellent. When we called for assistance or something, they were there immediately. That's what I liked about it. They interacted with her very well. I was impressed with Bridgewater. The facilities were clean. The people were very, very helpful. She's 96, I think she deserves to be in a caring place, and I think Bridgewater is that place. I don't know about their long-term facility. I'm just talking about the rehab side, and I found it to be excellent. I was pleased with the value for money."

"Our overall experience with TimberRidge Center for Rehabilitation & Healing has been a good one. Mom hasn't had any problems or anything like that. She seems to be adapting well there. She's made some friends and I think it is a great place. Everybody seems to be caring and watching over my mom. It's very clean. The staff is very attentive. They help her with her activities and stuff like that. So, overall, her care has been great. My mom's room is as good as a semi-private room. She's got enough room to maneuver around and everything. She's got plenty of closet space and plenty of drawers. I've hung up pictures and decorations for her in her area to make it more home-like for her, and they allowed you to do that. In my experience with her being there, she's been very well taken care of. She doesn't have any problem with the food. She seems to love everything that she gets. She doesn't eat a lot, but she has been eating."

"We toured Chatham Glen Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. It was very nice and very clean. Everything looked very nice. The lady who showed us around was the receptionist. They were very nice and helpful. They have different areas to sit in and do things. They have PT. They have open areas that you could visit with your family and so on. It is very expensive to get in there, and there's a two- to three-year wait. Regarding security, you have to sign in to visit people."

"My mother was at The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center at The Villages. There was absolutely nothing I liked about it. They neglected my mother. They did not answer the call lights. The food was not great. The staff was rude and ignorant. And there is not one good thing I could say about that facility. I would not put my enemy in that facility at all. The place was rusty, dusty, dirty, and ratty tatty. They need to improve the care of their nurses and they need to renovate. The front lobby looked spectacular. But then when you go in the back and you go into the rooms, the rooms had chipped wood, chipped paint, and dirty floors. They needed to have supplies. They didn't even have bedpans. They ran out of bedpans and my father had to go buy one at a store. The staff needed more training. I probably went 3 or 4 times to the administrator to try to resolve things. They need a whole new makeover and they need a whole new staff training for that place to be anywhere close to where my mom is at right now."

"I'm in rehab at Buffalo Crossings. It's a ten all around. My husband and I both came over here after a hospital stay. The staff has been very helpful. The nurses and the CNAs are wonderful. The physical and occupational therapy has been fantastic. The food is very good. I'm having a chef's salad today that's really good. My husband is enjoying his food, too. He said it's so much better than hospital food. We're in different rooms, but they're doing so well with the COVID. All the staff members wear N95 masks. You have to stay in your room, but I couldn't really move around too much anyway. They are keeping everybody 14 days isolated, but your family can make an appointment and they will wheel you outside. You're behind partition and they can come up and see you. They can't come into the facility to see you. They're doing everything right as far as I'm concerned with COVID, and the staff is very knowledgeable, especially for me. They have to get me up and out of bed, and the physical therapist and occupational therapist push you, but I want to get myself going and be able to go home, so that's good. The rooms are beautiful. They look like a hotel room. I can see right out my door if I was able to go out. They bring all your meals to your room because of the COVID restrictions, but normally they have dining areas out there where you can sit. It looks like a hotel lobby out there. There's a fireplace and a TV over it. As much as I can see, it looks beautiful and upscale, like a Hyatt lobby. They have an activity director, and because of COVID a lot of things are different, but I happen to have my iPad with me, so I'm either reading, or they have the big screen TVs, or doing research, so I didn't ask for anything recreation-wise. Today, the staff came and brought a welcome balloon, and they already have my plan of care case management set up for next week. Normally, they have a happy hour, but because we're in our rooms they come around. They even have beer or wine and snacks and sodas, and they just bring it to your room individually because of COVID. I know my husband is getting a newspaper every day, which he loves. They're doing what they can during COVID. I'm sure there are other things if I was interested, but I told the young lady that pretty much between the therapies and the things I have to do I don't really need anything else."

"We toured Lady Lake Specialty Care. The area we visited was clean, but it wasn't nearly as nice as the other two we visited. It's older. It's probably 30 years old, so it was not up-to-date. The staff who gave the tour was friendly. They showed you around them. They were nice. They were okay."

"My mother is at The Villages Rehab & Nursing Center for rehab. The first and most important thing is that the care she's receiving from one of the nurse aides is excellent, and her name is Tracy. The care tech is great. The facility, to me, looks very nice and clean, and it's a very friendly place with a great atmosphere. The care is really good. I'm very happy with it. There's a variety of food there, but sometimes I feel like it's just not what my mom wants, and I'm not sure if she has options. Yesterday, she had some grilled cheese sandwiches and she didn't want to eat them. They have great activities. They are allowed to go out around the area when they want without having to get permission. They get to watch TV or just kind of roam around and do whatever they want to do."
