"Mom was at the rehab side at Bear Creek Nursing Center for three months. We chose this facility again because she literally likes it. She's comfortable and is familiar with all the people there. She's also adjusted very well to the facility. The facility is clean and the staff seemed very attentive and extremely helpful. They are knowledgeable and seemed to be very proactive with regards to the care of my mom. The administrator is also very informative. Mom is in a semi-private room, just a standard room. It looked like a hotel room with two beds in it. I wasn’t able to eat there, but I was able to sit in and watch them eat and it looks very good. With their activities, I think they have things for the residents to do almost every single day. They have a room where they could watch TV. Mom has a place where she could have her hair done and her nails done. They can take the seniors out on certain days and they can go on trips. Overall, it just works for my mom. "

"I broke my femur and stayed from Dec 11, 2024 to Dec 20th. The rooms were fine. I had the best care I could possibly ask for. I was very lucky to have 2 CNA's who happened to have to work a lot of shifts during that time. Their names are Leni and Dennis. They were compassionate and kind, and made me smile even when I wanted to feel sorry for myself. The nighttime CNA Vickie retired after being there for 30 years. She was wonderful and knew her stuff for sure. On the whole I would give the staff 5 stars. I needed rehab and there again I couldn't have asked for better care. Suzanne, Dora, Lauren, Ben, and Rickie got me on my feet and ready to go home. They work so hard to get some of these uncooperating patients to just move a little. You get 3 hot meals a day if you have a stomach for it. I didn't, so I wasn't that interested in the meals. I would definitely recommend Solaris for anyone who needs rehab."

"Baldomero Lopez State Veterans is wonderful to my dad. He has been there for about 2 months. It’s beautiful. The food is surprisingly very good. The staff there is very caring. There have been a few little incidents -- most of them minor -- and they call you right away to keep you informed about things that have happened even if they don’t have great consequence. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about how they render their care there."

"My mother is at Heather Hill Healthcare Center. We chose them because they had long-term care and they had what we needed. They were close to us and they seemed very accommodating. We have since found their level of service is beyond what we've ever experienced with my mother. They are excellent. She's been there for over a week. I actually haven't been inside because of COVID. I've seen the outside and they let you see your loved one from a window in their courtyard. It's just as pleasant as any other. I like the courtyard. The staff bent over backwards to service both her and her loved ones."

"My elderly father was told that he would never walk again after breaking his hip. My Daddy and I did not want to accept this without trying everything that we could. He stayed at this rehab center for a month receiving therapy 7 days a week. My Daddy walked out with the aid of a walker after his stay. The staff here is excellent and extremely caring. They gave my Daddy the wonderful gift of hope and they were his cheerleaders. They gave back his independence and great quality of life. My Daddy could not have walked again without their help and love. I highly recommend them in every possible way! Excellent facility."

"The room was always nice and clean when I came to see mine Mom. They always had enough staff on hand to take care of your love one at Southern Pines. They had a calendar on the board stating what activities would take place, bingo, cards, singing songs together and more."

"Best decision I ever made. Fractured my shoulder and live alone so came to the Blue Heron Re-habilitation center. The rooms were spacious with a private bath and shower. The EVS team kept the room spotless. PT and OT were amazing. Jordan and Janine were exceptional and kept me on track to be able to go home faster. They were very pleasant and knew what they were doing. The nursing staff was exceptional. Ashley and Wykinda took exceptional care of me. I actually miss both of them. The CNAs took care of all my needs, Yolanda and Audio were kind and took care of any need I had. I would highly recommend this facility for re-habilitation and assisted living. They are top notch!!!"

"I visited an old friend at Heritage Park and the facility is nice and clean. I have no complaints about it. The staff were friendly and their patients looked healthy and well. "

"My mom has been in the Life Care Center of New Port Richey for a month now. They are very conscious of COVID. We started out with COVID tests every two days, and then you have to wear protective stuff while you're in there, so I really like that during this pandemic. They make sure that you can still see your loved one, which I think is critical. Everybody I have come across is very helpful and very sweet. She has a nice bed, and her room looks nice and clean. The food seems to be good. Now that she has moved into the normal space and she is out of the COVID-quarantine area (because they quarantined them for three weeks), they have a nice small area where they can eat, and I think it is also their TV room. She seems to like her food. The dietitian called me today and made sure that I know my mom's weight and what kind of food she was eating, so I would say they're good. For someone who needs high-level care, I think it is very good. I don't think it is fancy and over the top, but it seems to be clean, and it is just what the people need there."

"My husband moved into Orchard Ridge a week ago. So far, it's very good, and they're taking very good care of him. The place is very clean and nice, and I'm very happy with it. They have a nice dining area and an exercise room. My husband is in a single room right now."

"My wife has been with Royal Oaks for about three weeks and she is basically in rehab. I'm satisfied with them, but I had to transfer my wife because they are not a lockdown facility. They told me they were but unfortunately they were not. The facility is old, but it's clean. The food is excellent and the staff are great. "
