"My wife moved into Amilcat Care Home LLC. So far, it's fine. She's happy there. It's a very small place. There's only four or five patients, but they have a TV and somebody sits with them all the time. The floors are shiny. The table looks nice. The living space is fairly decent. Her room is small, but efficient. The staff is always there and talking to them. If they want to go to the restroom, they take them. They bathe them. She had her nails polished and she's happy."

"What a magnificent place. My friend has never been happier. The staff is so caring and helpful. I thought the price was high but for the amenities and the activities, it is not. I visit her often and even went to a few events and was very impressed. They have movies, symphony orchestras, fashion shows, chorales, happy hours, social hours, dance revues--just so many things to get involved with. They have a newcomer's luncheon where the new tenant can invite 10 friends to participate. The staff went out and got all new charger plates, linens, etc, for the event. How great is that? This place is so wonderful."

"It is a very big community. They have several floors. It is the best one I've visited. It's very clean and very well structured. The staff was very nice and seemed to be concerned about our situation. However, in the end, they couldn't help us because of my brother's criminal record in the past. The dining area was set up like a hotel. The private room was nice and roomy, and it had a bathroom. The residents all seemed happy and engaged in whatever activity they were doing."

"Stratford Court of Palm Harbor is impressive. It has everything I need and everything I ask for. They have all the amenities I need. They provide me with meals, wash my clothes every week, and they do housekeeping. The food is very good, and the place itself is really nice. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. I have my own apartment which is well laid out. I have a living room, a dining area, a bedroom, a very large handicap bathroom, a small kitchen, and a nice patio with a good view of the canal that runs here. There are lots of activities every day, too."

"Coral Oaks is a very good place, and I really did like it a lot. It’s very nice, and everybody is very friendly. I went into several rooms, and they were very well attended to. I was very impressed with the people as well. It's a nice place to go. The staff who gave me the tour answered all of my questions. They invited me to stay for lunch. They have a nice menu, and the food was very good. Everything was just fine. She gave me a calendar of activities, and it stated that they have a social activity plan. I would not hesitate to go in this place because it's very nice. "

"I toured Salishan Gracious Retirement Living. It was very, very good. We had food there, and that was excellent. The chef was nice. The place is clean, and they wanted to offer me a promotion, but I wasn't ready to do it yet. The rooms were very nice. They do a lot of activities, and they have a pool."

"It is in a very nice setting. The staff is great; all of them are really nice and very caring. They have three different rooms and allow pets. Mom really loves it there. The food is really excellent with an all-day menu and other menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that differ from day-to-day. They have over 200 activities there. "

"My apartment aka as “The Country Club” is ideal. My 3 rooms are ALL i need. I’m a new resident and I’ve made a really good decision for me. I should have done it sooner. You can be as busy as you like or it is quiet as you want. I like being involved with others and I have met so many nice people that I really enjoy and the activities, so much to choose from.. Someone is always there to help whether it be to answer a question or to make copies on a printer. The amenities are endless and I’m so happy I chose Regency Oaks. Thank You"

"Grand Villa of Clearwater was very good. My father likes to smoke, but they don't have any screened-in area for smoking over there, so that's a problem for him. But other than that, the place is nice. The people were nice. Everything was great."

"My family and I toured Edwinola when we were looking for an assisted living facility for my grandfather. The Edwinola was clean, well cared for, and cheerful. All the residents looked happy and everyone we spoke with said they loved it there. The food is excellent and the staff work hard to make sure the residents are happy. There is also a full schedule of activities in which the residents can choose to take part in. The tour guide showed us the different types of rooms they offer and explained how the assisted living program works. They have many levels of assistance based on the needs of the resident. Additionally, they have a locked Alzheimer ward and do offer full skilled nursing when the time comes. My family and I were very impressed with the Edwinola. "

"My mother is in The Oaks for almost a month now. The caretakers are all very kind and attentive. We are very pleased with the care that my mother gets. My mother has a shared room with two women, but she has her own bedroom with her own door. They take her on outings and activities, which she is very happy with. They have a deck because it is very near a water view. With supervision, she sits out on the deck."

"Brookdale Bayshore was absolutely wonderful. The people there were fabulous and bent over backward to try to help me. It's a beautiful place. The room we liked for my parents was on the seventh floor and every window faces the water. The building was right on the bay. They have really good food. There's a buzzer in each room. They can just pull on the cord and somebody will come up and help them. They do the cooking for the residents, and they come up and clean once a week. I'd like to move in there. They take them on a lot of trips. They have a swimming pool, shuffleboard, yoga, crafts, and they bring dogs and cats in all the time."

"We checked out Belleair Towers, and they were fine, but we just couldn’t make it to stay there. They had a 2-bedroom place, a nice pool, and a hot tub. Their meals were fine, and they serve 3 meals a day."

"I was very impressed with The Meridian at Brandon. I thought that the place was great. I had a nice tour. I was very impressed with the facility, and I was very impressed with the way that facility was kept, and with the people who gave me the tour and told me all about it. It's bright, airy, and clean. They take good care of the building. I like the design of it, too. There are a lot of very big open, airy spaces. There's a lot of little nooks and crannies where people can sit. They have cool things like fireplaces and a place where you can walk your dog. They have good security, too. It's independent living, assisted living, and then they have a memory care unit. And I was very impressed with the way that they did that, because a lot of people go in knowing they're going to graduate from independent living to assisted living, and then actually wind up needing full 24-hour supervision. I only met three staff, and they were all delightful. The food looked fresh and well prepared. Their menu has a lot of variety and the people who live there have choices. If they don't want the main thing on the menu, they can get choices. They can also get service if they miss a meal like they come down and it's too late for breakfast like they overslept or whatever, or if they want a late lunch. The dining room accommodates people, which I thought was good."
