"Home Instead provides companion care for my father, who has dementia, 7 mornings a week. They cook all his meals, do his shopping & laundry, remind him to shower and take his medications, and take him to his appointments. I live in California, and have very little support for my dad, who wishes to remain in his home in Florida, so it is a huge challenge to manage his care from afar. Without Home Instead I would not be able to keep my dad in his home. John, and the care team are highly responsive to my dads needs and my requests. The caregivers are kind, and respectful of my father. When there was a less than ideal fit of caregiver, due to personality match with my dad, Home Instead made arrangements to change caregivers, no questions asked. Most of my interactions with the caregivers are over the phone, and they are always pleasant and cooperative. One downside, is if a caregiver wants to relay information to me, they do so via the office staff, so sometimes there is a delay in being able to speak with the caregiver until their next scheduled shift. Originally, there was two caregivers 3 mornings/week, and H.I. insisted on two different caregivers. I will admit, I was weary, but it was the best decision, because if one caregiver is not available, or leaves the position, there is always another caregiver that knows his routine, and makes the transition smoother. "

"The Caregivers are delightful and the administrator is more than willing to make changes to the schedule to help to cover our needs. I feel very secure leaving my 85 year old mother in their care during their shifts and if I need to shop or take care of business away from home, I am not worried that something will happen to my mom. Mom seems to really enjoy their visits for both help and companionship. My mom gets 100% of their attention while I take care of my business or even just take a nap to restore myself. I am so glad to have them here."

"Caring.com referred me to Right At Home services for my mother's extensive in home health care. Right At Home has been an answer to our prayers. We had been thru numerous agencies prior to Right At Home & had experienced nothing but complete frustration & let down with people not showing up for their shift along with inadequate care giving. The compassion, care & concern of each person I've dealt with, including the schedulers, has been nothing short of spectacular. The difference between Right At Home & the other companies we used is like night & day. You can tell that they have a sincere compassion for your loved one. Our family feels so very blessed & grateful to have been referred to them. Knowing my mother is finally getting the care she needs has alleviated so much stress on our entire family. I'm 100% certain that they sincerely care about my mother's well being. I highly recommend them. Food, facilities & activities do not apply here so I gave 5 stars to insure Right At Home received the rating they deserve"
