"My mother was at The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center at The Villages. There was absolutely nothing I liked about it. They neglected my mother. They did not answer the call lights. The food was not great. The staff was rude and ignorant. And there is not one good thing I could say about that facility. I would not put my enemy in that facility at all. The place was rusty, dusty, dirty, and ratty tatty. They need to improve the care of their nurses and they need to renovate. The front lobby looked spectacular. But then when you go in the back and you go into the rooms, the rooms had chipped wood, chipped paint, and dirty floors. They needed to have supplies. They didn't even have bedpans. They ran out of bedpans and my father had to go buy one at a store. The staff needed more training. I probably went 3 or 4 times to the administrator to try to resolve things. They need a whole new makeover and they need a whole new staff training for that place to be anywhere close to where my mom is at right now."

"We toured Chatham Glen Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. It was very nice and very clean. Everything looked very nice. The lady who showed us around was the receptionist. They were very nice and helpful. They have different areas to sit in and do things. They have PT. They have open areas that you could visit with your family and so on. It is very expensive to get in there, and there's a two- to three-year wait. Regarding security, you have to sign in to visit people."

"My dad is being cared for here by a group of very caring nurses, therapists, administrators and staff. He has significant medical needs and they are very attentive to his care. The facility is very clean and the residents are friendly and seem happy to be here. The activities director plans wonderful events!"

"North Campus Rehab was totally different from the other campus. The food was good and we actually went up there two times and ate with her. The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean. It’s totally different than where she is now. They actually had a meeting, talked to us, and let us know what was going on. They had something going on every day; they had ice cream socials, church, different singers come in, and they played bingo. "

"My dad was at South Campus Rehab and Nursing Center. He had congestive heart failure and had difficulty walking. He had been in the hospital for a while, but they sent him over there supposedly to get him back on his feet so he could go home. They tried to send therapists in to help him with everything each day and there was some that were better than others. The rooms were okay. They had two beds in each room, but they were kind of close together and were kind of cramped. The beds were not very good. He had to have his changed a couple of times. I did not think it was really all that nice. Sanitation was okay. The staff was not bad. They were pretty good and attentive. "

"My mother is in rehab at Lake Harris Health Center. She gets wonderful care there. Her room is kept clean. She's made improvements, so we see the results of her therapy. She's doing well there. The food is pretty typical of these places. There's nothing to rave about, but it's edible. She has her own television."

"My grandmother is a current resident at Osprey. I am so thankful for the loving care she receives from all of her nurses and especially Ms. Susan the Activities Director. They are extremely personable and care for all of their patients and their families. "

"I was in Solaris Healthcare Waterman for two years. Pretty much most of the staff was very good. I had a problem with one nurse who I understood that other people had problems with. She actually lied to me about my ileostomy care because she was supposed to change the wafer and it was supposed to be done during the day on her shift. When I reminded her, she said, "Let me check." She came back and said, "Oh, no, it says, do it after 7:00 p.m." I said, "No. That's not what it calls for." She said, "I can't do it, but if you would absolutely insist." I said, "I don't want you to get in trouble." It turned out, she lied. That was not true. Eventually, they let her go, but it took them too long. Everyone complained about her. The nurse said that that nurse would sit there at her nurse's station. They'd outweigh each other to see who would answer a call and finally the other nurse would end up doing it because she was never going to do it. She wasn't allowed to see me after that. We actually had another couple of incidents where I asked for help when my ileostomy leaked. It took her three hours to come, and she claimed she was at a meeting. The supervisor said, "No, we don't call nurses off the floor to have a meeting, especially for three hours." The other nurses were very nice and very good, but for what we were paying, I didn't feel like we got everything we should have gotten. On the other hand, it was clean and the CNAs were, for the most part, excellent. The food was pretty good. The cook did as well as he could. Just before I went there, it was non-profit, and it was sold to a for-profit company and the budgets were cut everywhere. The food budget and stuff was all cut. The kitchen management did an excellent job considering what they did, but after a while, it got tedious because you got the same food all the time. The same things were served all the time. They only have private rooms there. There were no shared rooms available. When my husband went to talk to them about having me there, they said, "We can take ileostomy patients," but they knew nothing about how to take care of the ileostomy. To this day, when I left, they had nurses who didn't like changing the ileostomy wafer. When I first went there, the thing leaked constantly and they didn't seem to be particularly interested in learning. My husband did a lot of research with the company that supplies the ileostomy supplies. We taught them how to do it. They got better. They had quite a few activities and the activities people did a good job. First they came around with carts with things like magazines and puzzle books, Sudoku book, little things like that, but then I was told that the management took away their cart. The activities committee paid for the carts. They said that the management took them away from them. They had to come around with just stuff in their hands. They had bingo and movie nights and all that kind of stuff. I did learn how to get books by mail from them. Occasionally, they got crossword puzzle books and stuff. They had painting. They had a lot of stuff. I just never took advantage of it. The food was good and well prepared, but limited. The facility was overall excellent. They came around every day and asked if we wanted to do something. We were private pay and some people there were on Medicaid."

"I am very impressed and happy with the care my mother is getting at Arbor Trail. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. I am always kept informed on my mothers health . They go out of their way to keep my mother healthy , happy , and clean. I would like to give everyone there a special thanks on the way they handled the covid19 crisis. They were on top of it from the very start and took every precaution to keep the residents safe. i thank them all! "

"The rooms are two patients to a room and several are four patients to a room. My loved one actually likes being in the four patient room over being moved to a semi-private room. The facility is a bit on the older side, but quite functional Everything is clean and organized The staff is kind, caring, attentive, and gentle. My loved one is well cared for and the staff know her by name. The staff are up lifting and interact with each other with smiles on their faces. After observing the staff for several hours on a weekend, I found everyone to be thoughtful, kind, and respectful to the patients and that the day ended with the same smiles that the staff started out their day with. The admissions office is extremely knowledgeable and prompt in their responses. The business office is wonderful and made themselves available to answer all my family's questions. The activities director is very active with providing the patients with fun activities and also works to help each patient through their personal issues such as missing their family and how to set up video calls for the patient to have with their families in an attempt to help them to adjust to their new normal. The social service office is welcoming, supportive, caring, and willing to help in any way possible. The staff are prompt with checking the patient's vitals 24 hours a day. My loved one had a drop in their blood pressure during the night and the staff took prompt action to address the issue. Having been in multiple facilities across the country, I am most impressed by the attitude and caring hearts of the staff at Avante Inverness. That means everything to my family and I. "

"Their rooms could be a little better at Oakhurst Square. They were like regular hospital rooms. My father was well taken care of. It did not have a homey atmosphere. "

"We have nothing but good things to say about this Facility.The rooms were very bright and cheery, as well as very clean.The food menu had quite a variety as well. That means a lot toa person when you are away from home for so long. My husband wasthere for about six weeks.The personal care was amazing as well. My husband stated any timehe rang his call bell they would be asap. They always kept himvery clean and well shaved and this has always been very important tomy husband.The Rehab Dept was great as well. They took their time with him and madesure that he never over did the exercise routine. They really had a greatactivities Agenda there as well. My husband got to play cards as well as Bingoto keep him occupied,which is great because he never has been one to watch a lot of television.He said the food there was very good most of the time. lol.I found them to be very polite and gentle to Family members as well.I think we had an overall good experience at Timberidge Heath and Rehab.Thanks to everyone there! "I went to Bridgewater Park and met Danielle. She was very nice and helpful. The facility was just a little bigger. It was a two-story and they have a true apartment-like facility. So, it was too big for my parents. The rooms were very nice though and they probably have a little more activities and amenities. It was a little more upscale. The people were very friendly, very helpful, and knowledgeable."
