"Lakeview Terrace was very nice, but I couldn’t afford it. The staff was very nice. There were lot of activities, like bingo, card games, and trips, but it cost beyond my means. I had a good lunch there. They were refurbishing, which was fine. "

"Village on the Green was very good, and on par with the other place I visited. They have full security, and its a gated community. They have lots of activities and lots of people going around doing stuff. The grounds are kept very well, the facility was 30 years old, but they kept it in good shape, and its very good. They have independent living, memory care and end of life, and thats what youre paying for. The rooms were more than adequate, well-appointed, with full-kitchen, and laundry service. You would have to put in roughly $250,000 and that was depleted over five years, at the end of five years, although that money is depleted, it is used for to go forward with the memory care, and so you dont get something for nothing."
