"I was a resident of Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. The food was excellent. It rivals restaurant-quality food, not rehab center food. The staff was very professional and very caring. They have bingo. On Fridays, they have a happy hour where they provide beer and wine, and on Sundays, they have an ice cream social."

"My wife moved into Majestic Gardens Living. It's a fairly small place. It's almost a brand-new building, and it's very nice and very clean. Her room is very nice and very big. The staff has been very good. They provide 3 meals a day. They're not gourmet, but they're OK. They have activities all the time, like bingo and board games. I would recommend it to anybody. It's owned by a lady doctor, and she comes in every day. She has a pretty good crew there."

"Rastelle Manor , located in Daytona beach , really reinstates the Souths true beauty. Upon entering I noticed how clean and decorative everything inside the facility is. Over twenty five individual rooms to meet your needs and a caring staff are present. You really couldn't ask for more , when you have home cooked meals, quality service and great views. After staying for a little bit , I almost didn't want to leave. The beach is near and so are local attractions; the facility also provides transportation to such places and provides weekly outings. It's a very nice place and you feel a sense of community upon arriving. "

"My son was there once before and he wanted to go back to it. I like the fact that they have a doctor and a nurse in the facility. This place is mainly for people that have an amount of psychiatric problems. The rooms are kind of crowded there and he has to share a room with someone else. But what's nice is it's just across the street from the beach. So I think the place has still a nice atmosphere to it and it's breezy. Everything has been fine there. The staff is caring and helpful. My son seemed happy there . "

"I've been to Hugh Ash Manor to visit a friend. It looks pretty nice. It's got a pretty wide age range there. Some residents are a little younger than me and some a little older. They have activities that the residents do. They don't have a pool themselves, but they have access to the YMCA pool there. I believe they offer meals. I know my friend cooks a lot on his own. They not only have their own transport with Hugh Ash Manor, but their transport is easily available through the city/county buses. I've seen my friend and his mother's room. His is on the seventh floor, and his mother's room was down on the fourth floor. I've seen both, and they're pretty nice. Their price also includes all the amenities like the cable. There's an antenna TV set up that you can use also. If I'm not mistaken, they pay for the electricity, water, and all that. They give you the antenna TV. For the cable, you have to pay for yourself. I think his mother is getting it for like $10 a month in some kind of program there and that's pretty good. They have an area where they can do arts and crafts and such. They've got a library of some sort, and they've got a pool table and game tables. From what I've heard from my friend, the maintenance is pretty good. The outside looks great. I used to be in the landscaping industry, so I look at that pretty close. It's well kept on the outside of the inside. Every time I've been in there, it has been nice and clean as far as keeping the walkways and all that clean. I used the bathroom once there (for guests and such), and it was kept clean. They also provide a help button for the residents in the bathroom. Out in the room itself, they have a couple of buttons for when you have an emergency. You just push the button, and they're right there."

"The patient care is very good. My 90 year old mother has been there for physical rehab and they are excellent. The CNA's and nurses are very good and caring. It is a very clean facility with a very home like rooms and atmosphere. They have homes that they will sell to people that revert back to the facility when the person or couple passes on. They provide laundry and food services for them. They also have an Alzheimer's wing that is locked down so the resident in that wing cannot wander off. I spoke with one of the CNA's who worked that wing and she said that Aliiance was a country club compared to most facilities who deal with the elderly. :) I agree. "
