"Westminster Shores was spectacular but out of our reach. Its cost was off the chart, but it was an absolutely gorgeous place. If I won the lottery, I would live there. The dining area was very nice. They had cards, pool, and a gym. "

"Canterbury Towers was outstanding, but they couldn’t take us because they had three acute patients already on their ward. They have to balance the number of acute patients against the staff there so that they can adequately care. The place didn’t smell, it looked great, and the food looked great. It seemed like a professional place. They had activities for people to do, and my overall impression was that, she would have gotten very good care there. They have two sides: a very heavily retirement community and a skilled nursing side. "

"I was living in Bayshore Presbyterian Apartments in Tampa, a 62-and-over apartment building. The community is lovely, and the building is exceptionally clean. The maintenance is excellent, people are good, and they have a lot of activities. They have a library and games like Bingo and Scrabble. They have movie nights on Saturdays and day trips for those who want to go out for lunch with people. They have Christmas parties and Thanksgiving parties, which are very lovely and very well done. They have a new property manager there who I understand is really on the ball. If you qualify through the city, the place will give you food. It's not the greatest, though. The only thing that I liked was the little piece of roasted chicken they gave us. That was the only meal that I enjoyed there."

"My dad was a past resident of Westminster Suncoast. They were very polite. They dealt with the situations right away. If there's a problem, they handle it. Overall, the staff was very cordial, followed up, and seemed like they cared. The food was fine. It was just the setup initially was a little bit confusing on what food he was receiving even though he had ordered everything, and what came was not correct. So, it took a little bit, but everything was fine towards the end there."

"Westminster Point Pleasant had a very nice water view. The upkeep was excellent. The staff during the tour was very good, helpful, and friendly. They had activities, but I didn't go into detail with them. The facility was very nice and very well-appointed. The negative thing I found out about it is the rooms are a lot smaller than the other place, but they had a better view because they looked out on the river."
