"It is a very big community. They have several floors. It is the best one I've visited. It's very clean and very well structured. The staff was very nice and seemed to be concerned about our situation. However, in the end, they couldn't help us because of my brother's criminal record in the past. The dining area was set up like a hotel. The private room was nice and roomy, and it had a bathroom. The residents all seemed happy and engaged in whatever activity they were doing."

"We went to the Promise Pointe It was very nice, and was 8 miles from her sister. The views out their windows were beautiful. On each floor they had really nice, open reading rooms that you could go in and read or play a game. I asked them to think about the last state inspection, and it was perfect. She said they have never had anything bad. Their rooms were bigger and nicer than the other place. You have a choice of meals, and I like that very much. They have crafts, bingo, and movies."

"My mother will be moving into Angels Senior Living at New Tampa memory care unit. So far, so good. We have to move our own furniture in, but the room was clean and the size was good for us. The staff was nice, and they have good service. They have activities, but very simple ones. They have everything inside. They're pretty new."

"I went to Brookdale Bayshore. It was a beautiful facility, clean, well-decorated, and it's in a beautiful spot. The staff is gracious, the people seemed happy, and peaceful. I was told that there were activities. There were people in the lobby, but I didn't know what they were doing. They have a pool, and it's right on the water. They have a library, and they have books that the residents are able to borrow at any time."

"Shady Palms is too small, and most of the people are 10 times my age, so I don't feel comfortable over there. It was the only place that I knew about, but I just feel out of place when I go there. The staff was very professional; they're very nice people. It is just that the residents were not up to my level of illness. The living environment was very good. They had a gazebo; it was outdoor, but it was more screened, so it looked very nice. The inside was nice. The residents were kept occupied with activities. "

"I toured the Savannah Court of Brandon. The staff is very nice, and so are the nurse and the director. They're all very nice. It's clean. It's a nice apartment. They're very good. If I sit down as a guest, I do not have to pay for the food. The food was good. I was there at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they celebrated birthdays. I think they did a wonderful job, and the layout is very nice, too."

"Aldea Green assisted living looked very inviting. It's easy to navigate because everything was just off one main location. It has an upper and lower level, and it has an elevator. It was very nicely laid out. What I liked about the tour of the facility is that they incorporated a lot of the staff members. We met members of the management team, members of the maintenance team, several members of the kitchen, including the chef, and we also met the housekeeping. It was very interactive and lots of different staff members were involved. We saw lots of staff while we were there interacting with the residents as well. The room shown to us was very nice and comfortable. From what I saw, they're almost like an efficiency apartment. It had a kitchenette, a separate bath, and space where you could divide up your sleeping area, and a possible sitting or living area. We tried a dessert and their dining area was spacious right now because of COVID. It was open and there were lots of windows. It was a nice dining area, and very clean. The chef that we met has been there for 25 years. They seem to be very accommodating. When we were there, people were lining up at the dining area, waiting to go in so it seemed like it was a popular thing to eat in the dining area rather than eating in your room or needing something you could simply microwave. It smells wonderful too. The outside and the inside looked very well-kept, up-to-date, and more modern. We even met the head of maintenance at the building and it was nice. We saw their activities room and they also have a common area where they have social gatherings. They have a separate place, I believe, for reading. They had a salon and a place where they got their haircut and things like that as well. I would have chosen that place for my mom out of the places that I've toured."

"It was absolutely beautiful. When we walked in, they had a welcome sign with my friend's name on it. Everybody said hello. It was absolutely a beautiful experience. They had things going on all the time. The staff who showed us around was wonderful. The food was delicious. I was very impressed. The dining room was beautiful. We also went into a private dining room. It was very clean and very beautiful. It almost felt like you were in a house. The residents were active. Everyone we passed by was smiling and saying hello."

"For someone who would qualify, Emeritus at Northdale would be a very nice place. For people who are still functional, that would be a great place to go to. They take them out, they display the food for the day, and it looks lovely. They were like a hotel. I was hoping my sister would be able to go there, but she did not quality. "

"I toured The Crossings at Riverview. We spent more time in their assisted living. What stood out was the brightness of the place. It's a very bright home. And the staff was friendly. It looked clean and very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and homey. They were very friendly and welcoming. The staff who gave the tour was professional and friendly, too. We played bingo with the residents, and they seemed fine and happy. We like it. And it's close to our house, so we like that, too."
