"My mom has moved into Lake Morton Senior Living. What I like the best about them is just the people, the atmosphere, and how they were just so gracious with my mother when she went there. They made her feel like she was just part of their family. I like the way the facility is set up, the events, and the activities. I also like the way they're fed and the way they're monitored. Just about everything about the place has just made me feel very comfortable with it. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment which is on the corner. It has a balcony overlooking Lake Morton. It's great. I would love to live there. I had lunch with her on Christmas day there, and the food was very good. They have a four-star chef, and the food was just as if I'd cooked it all myself. When I was there, they had Santa Claus come and they were singing Christmas carols and playing the piano. All the participants were there. They have a fairly large dining room. They have an event coordinator. They have bingo and movie night, and they take them out on excursions out of the building. All the time they have something going on for their tenants in the building. Their staff is phenomenal. I know just about every one of them at this point on a first-name basis. They all know Mom. They talk to her as if they've got all the time in the world. If my mom needs the maintenance man for anything, they're there. They have been very good to her. In terms of the physical condition of the place, it is very clean and very well taken care of."

"It was beautiful. It was more like a cruise ship than a living facility. The staff were very good and very accommodating. The dining area was also beautiful. They would take you off campus (to your doctor's appointment or shopping) and they show movies, too. They had an area inside and outside where residents could just sit and relax with each other."

"It was wonderful, but my mother chose to stay with my sister. My mother likes to play bingo and cards, and she likes to play piano. They have all of that. It’s definitely a 5 because we loved it. There’s a curio cabinet outside the door that you could put all your collectibles in. I will take my mother to see it when she’s down here just to see what she missed because I think she would be much happier in a place like this one than she would be at my sister’s, but that’s OK. They were wonderful. I loved it. I talked to some of the residents, and they were wonderful. I loved it. "

"My father-in-law moved into Hawthorne Inn yesterday. It is great and welcoming. We have not had any problems. He has been there for respite care before and was treated fine. The staff seems very friendly and confident. There was just a little confusion when we droped him off for respite care because they did not have a room. I guess the people there did not realize they didn't have a room set up for him, but they straightened it out. I will recommend them. "

"Our experience at Grace Manor Suites was very good. The rooms were a little small. Other than that, it was very nice. Their dining area was nice, and they had more up-to-date food that people are eating nowadays. The staff was very good and very informed. The activities were alright. There wasn’t much for the men to do. It seemed like it catered more to the women, and there weren’t that many men in there. The location is very convenient. "

"My husband has moved into Ansley Parke at Oakbridge. It was a situation where with the medications that he's on, the facility had to have a certain level of license and they have that. And it was still a fairly reasonably priced place. The staff's great so far. The place is good because he's legally blind and his room is pretty close to the dining room, so I think it's easier for him to navigate because of the size of the facility. They have arestaurant-style dining room. There are also some outside covered areas to sit, as well as a walking path. Being that he just moved in there on Thursday, and they just took over the facility, they're kind of in the process of remodeling and getting activity started up again because of Covid. They have a bus or whatever you want to call it, to bring them on little shopping trips or little trips here and there. But that hasn't started yet because they just took over."

"We like Water Edge of Lake Wales. It has what we want. It has a two-bedroom, independent living, and I can upgrade that if a three-bedroom becomes available and I have priority on getting in their assisted living and memory care. We already know some people there, and they've spoken in very high terms. We met all the staff, and we heard the food is good. It's not five-star quality, but it's still good food, and you don't have to make it. The people were excellent. Everybody we met was very nice. I would rate the facility very high. It looked well kept and well-maintained. The restaurant area looked very clean. It's a sit-down type experience, and the men's restroom was very clean. We toured our villa and somebody just moved out, so it needs some work, but they're gonna re-carpet and paint it for us, and we're negotiating with them on new appliances."

"My dad moved into Grace Manor at Hunters, and he's been living there for about a month. It was extremely clean, and I was very impressed. In the dining area, the tables were social-distanced, it's very bright and airy, lots of windows, and that's what he likes. His room looked brand new; it's a 1-bedroom with a little living area, kitchenette, a bathroom, and everything was really super clean. It's spacious, but there's not a lot of storage. They have all kinds of board games, and they do bingo. It was less expensive than his last place."

"Out of all the ones we saw, we found the best unit at Windsor at Celebration. It was actually where we were very nearly going to until my family decided I was going back to England. We were impressed with the place itself, in other words, the building and everything about it, because it got independent, assisted, and memory. There were three separate units within one place. They were completely separated, and everything about it was first class. Everything about it seemed right. The apartments were the best layouts we saw. They were doing meals on an allocation basis. In other words, you've got so many points per day. The staff was excellent. They had the usual amenities like a gym and an inside pool which was very good. They got no outside pool, but they got an inside pool. They've got the usual game room, art, drawing, and gym classes. They've got a nurse who's in every day five days a week. They got doctor's visits. All the good things you get in independent living places, seem to have it."

"During the pandemic we had to find a place for our mom. Aum Haven has truly been a blessing to our family. She has dementia and we need a place to provide 24 hours of care. Keith and his staff are truly professionals with the care they provide. The treat her more like family and she’s very comfortable and has adjusted well to her new surroundings. At Aum Haven, the home is extremely clean and the surroundings are very well maintained. We can’t ask for a better place for our mother. "

"I did a tour of American House Zephyrhills' assisted living 2 or 3 years ago. The place is friendly and nice. The view was okay back then, but now you're looking at the rooftops because of the apartment buildings that weren't there before. Other than that, it was a good place that didn't allow smoking. The staff seemed fine and were polite. They also have parking for everyone."

"I toured The Courtyard At Granada. Strangely, because of my wife's advanced stage of dementia, the staff that I spoke to didn't feel that it was the right facility for her. The facilities looked nice. It was like an expensive person's home. It was geared up with separate rooms for the patient. One of the parts of it that I thought was a little bit strange was that the memory care wasn't separated like in some of the other places that I visited. The place was very nice and the staff was very helpful and very courteous."

"We have a very positive experience with Savannah Court of Brandon since day one. It's a clean place. The staff is very caring. They know who my mother is, call her by name, and make sure that she met with some of the other residents. Every day when I pick her up, she seems happier. What I like the most is the care of the staff, and that it's very easy to move around or navigate. They also have a beautiful garden."
