"It was wonderful, but my mother chose to stay with my sister. My mother likes to play bingo and cards, and she likes to play piano. They have all of that. It’s definitely a 5 because we loved it. There’s a curio cabinet outside the door that you could put all your collectibles in. I will take my mother to see it when she’s down here just to see what she missed because I think she would be much happier in a place like this one than she would be at my sister’s, but that’s OK. They were wonderful. I loved it. I talked to some of the residents, and they were wonderful. I loved it. "

"My father-in-law moved into Hawthorne Inn yesterday. It is great and welcoming. We have not had any problems. He has been there for respite care before and was treated fine. The staff seems very friendly and confident. There was just a little confusion when we droped him off for respite care because they did not have a room. I guess the people there did not realize they didn't have a room set up for him, but they straightened it out. I will recommend them. "

"The Canopy at Walden Woods was a nice community. I just can't afford it. I toured the memory care and it was very well kept. The staff that toured me was a little pushy. She was a salesperson, but she was nice. The rooms were nice. The dining area was clean. I saw people at their event in the activity center and I saw them playing bingo. They had a small patio and a small outdoor area."

"During the pandemic we had to find a place for our mom. Aum Haven has truly been a blessing to our family. She has dementia and we need a place to provide 24 hours of care. Keith and his staff are truly professionals with the care they provide. The treat her more like family and she’s very comfortable and has adjusted well to her new surroundings. At Aum Haven, the home is extremely clean and the surroundings are very well maintained. We can’t ask for a better place for our mother. "

"My parents moved into American House Zephyrhills. It's a very big, fancy place with many apartments, studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. There are lots of activities to go to. We're pleased with it. They have a one-bedroom apartment and it comes unfurnished, so we have to supply all the furniture to make it their home. They have a theater place that's available for anybody. They have their bingo, sing-alongs, lots of puzzles, crafts and arts, and they bring in outside entertainment. There's plenty to do for the residents. They need more staff, but they're on a hiring freeze right now. The staff members that are there are stretched thin, but they're very gracious, accommodating, and friendly, and it's not their fault if there are not enough of them. They need more of a food selection for diabetics. They should have more sugar-free options. Otherwise, the food is good and there's plenty of it. The layout of the building is very nice."

"I toured The Courtyard At Granada. Strangely, because of my wife's advanced stage of dementia, the staff that I spoke to didn't feel that it was the right facility for her. The facilities looked nice. It was like an expensive person's home. It was geared up with separate rooms for the patient. One of the parts of it that I thought was a little bit strange was that the memory care wasn't separated like in some of the other places that I visited. The place was very nice and the staff was very helpful and very courteous."

"We have a very positive experience with Savannah Court of Brandon since day one. It's a clean place. The staff is very caring. They know who my mother is, call her by name, and make sure that she met with some of the other residents. Every day when I pick her up, she seems happier. What I like the most is the care of the staff, and that it's very easy to move around or navigate. They also have a beautiful garden."

The care that she's been taking, the interaction, I think it's an excellent facility. However, it's been very difficult to deal with the office to get her from private care to Medicaid. I didn't get an explanation, but rather a threatening tone. I'm 76, so it's been very stressful. But the main business office manager has been very helpful. "

"My mother is in the memory unit she is what do you call a runner I am glad the unit is locked so she cannot run away and be lost like in the past and that other places that she’s been at they take such good care of her and she loved it there I am so thankful for this place.
