"The services were to give her a bath, to watch her for four hours, and to take care of her needs like bathing, feeding her, taking her out, and doing stuff like exercise. The only thing I got out of them was to give her a bath. They would ask her if she wants to eat, and she will say, "No, thank you. I don't want to bother you." My mother has dementia, she doesn't know, and I have explained to them not to ask her if she wants to eat but to feed her, and they didn't do that. They always asked her. They asked her if she wants to take a bath; she says no. So I was not very satisfied, and they were not reliable. They will call at the last minute saying that they cannot take care of her, and they will send somebody else, and I didn't like that. And then, on top of that, the lady would sit around watching TV with my mother. I was not paying her $23 to sit around and watch TV with my mother. She didn't have much initiative, which was one of my problems. I thought that I shouldn't have to be telling her every day what she had to do. I thought that she should know what she should do. I wasn't very happy at all. I wouldn't recommend Absolute Home Healthcare. "

If you need a Medical Social worker which they have on staff, don't waste your time going through the trouble of getting a referral from you Dr. Heartfelt only has one medical social worker and she only works part-time. I met with her once and she promised several items she would be able to get and almost a month later I have yet to hear from her. I called the Supervisor who assured me she would have the SW return my call, that was 3 days ago and yet no call. I went through a lot of trouble getting referrals from my doctor as requested by the agency one for the home health nurse and then advised I would need another referral for the medical social worker on staff (part-time) I am very disappointed as I am Wheelchair bound and the assistance I was in need of that the Medical Social Worker said she could assist with just never happened attempts to call always went unanswered even after contacting the supervisor "

She is dressed in scrubs, neat and clean, prepared to do the agreed upon tasks which include helping with my shower, dressing, and assisting with household chores. She is independent in doing these without direction. She makes good suggestions, helps by going with me to assist in shopping and running errands. Takes suggestions well and has the ability to follow through with those suggestions. Good match with me."
