We have chosen Promise Point Senior Living for my mother. It's very nice, very clean, and well-staffed. Everyone there was very kind. We liked the particular setup for memory care. It was different than the other places and our mother was most comfortable there. She seemed relaxed. She was interacting with the residents when we were taking the tour. She responded to everybody around her, and that mattered to us. We sat and talked with Paula for a while before we went on the tour. We also went back, and we had lunch there. Once again, our mother seemed relaxed and comfortable, and she was responsive to people. The other places that we toured were very nice, but she did not have the same reaction. We have chosen a private room. They call it a studio, but it's just a large room with a bathroom. She can fit her bed, her TV, and her recliner. They had more activities than my mom is going to be able to keep track of. If she is bored or has nothing to do, that is not their fault; it would be hers. They have active attendance there. They participate in things. They also have many outings that mom can participate in. They have a physical therapist there. They have a room with stationary bicycles, and that would be excellent for my mom. They have a walking club. They take care of everything. I am also comparing it to a home that my mother-in-law was in, in Maryland. Every single other thing they charged her for, and this one doesn't. Things are all included. My sister and I were able to have lunch with our mother, and it was good. They had cookies, and they were excellent.

Promise Pointe Senior Living was a good place. They had the dining, the housekeeping, and everything, but they were a little expensive. I liked the apartment they showed me. They had good activities. It was really nice.

Promise Pointe is five years old. It's bright, airy, sunny and happy. I was very impressed with that. It's a little bit higher class of people. They're more golf course people. They were a little bit better dressed. They were out and about. They had just finished an exercise class, and they were going to do a pumpkin decorating in the afternoon. It was beautiful. The problem with that one was you had to walk five miles to smoke. That was the biggest downfall of that whole place. Nevertheless, it was very inviting, and the facilities were nice. The staff who gave us the tour had been there since day one. He was very happy there. He loved the people. He knew everything about it. He could answer any question. He was very good, and I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me anything. The studios were all about the same amount. They're all between 335 and 355 square feet at every place I looked. But this one had a little bit nicer kitchen area than the one at the other place. The bathroom was good, too. It had a nice closet. They had a hair salon. There were several game rooms and several family rooms. In the lobby, there was a seating area, so you didn't have to entertain in your room.

I toured Promise Pointe. I like the fact that there were two levels of memory care. They have standards and Bridges for the two levels of care. The room they showed us was empty. It looked clean, but there wasn't a whole lot of space. The other thing that I liked was that it had a window. The staff who toured me was very informative and warm. I connected with him. I appreciated his knowledge, expertise, and patience. I sat down and ate lunch.

We went to the Promise Pointe It was very nice, and was 8 miles from her sister. The views out their windows were beautiful. On each floor they had really nice, open reading rooms that you could go in and read or play a game. I asked them to think about the last state inspection, and it was perfect. She said they have never had anything bad. Their rooms were bigger and nicer than the other place. You have a choice of meals, and I like that very much. They have crafts, bingo, and movies.

It was very good. It's a lovely facility, it's top notch, very airy, roomy, new, clean, the food is good, and the rooms are good. It was better than a lot of places. The staff is a nine out of ten.

I have a relative that is staying in the memory care side in this facility. The staff is outstanding and always pleasant and willing to assist in anyway they can. The memory care Director Jewelee is awesome and very caring. This facility and staff is the best around.

Promise Pointe just recently opened and seemed very nice. I was impressed with the facility. The studio my mom was looking at was big enough for what she needed.
