"We use Concierge Care for my husband's aunt. We have used them since July 2021. Most of the caregivers are either CNAs or home health aides, and they have all been very pleasant and very attentive to her. They're reliable and easy to work with, and we've been pleased with them. They give her her medications, so medication management. They also provide light housekeeping and laundry, they assist her in going for walks and taking her out socially or to lunch, they prepare light meals and companionship. They assist her when she needs it for bathing, changing linens, and things like that. So it's personal care. She's pretty independent with that now, but originally, we got them because she fell and had a broken hip and needed care at home, but we've continued it because of her cognitive decline. They're wonderful. We had one or two exceptions, but for the most part, we have one person who comes all week during the day and a different person on the weekends, and they've all been very lovely. They get along well and are well equipped to deal with a patient with dementia or Alzheimer's. I would recommend them. I think they're a little on the expensive side, but when looking at other agencies, they seem to be comparable. We live in New York and our aunt is in Florida, so we're not there constantly. From our assessment and our judgment, and from what we see, she's extremely well cared for and safe, and that's our main priority. I met with most of the caregivers. We did not meet the two new ones recently, but the ones that have been with her a long time, we have met with them."

"The hospital had recommended Apex Home Health Care when my mother came home. The ones they sent were not suitable people for her needs, so we had to let them go. She weighed originally about 140 pounds, and she is about 5'7" and they sent a 100-pound little girl and a 60 some year-old woman, and they were not able to help with moving and lifting her. They did have some good people, but there was 1 that didn't show up, and she was not very professional in her response as to why she wasn't there."

"I have a lady that comes here from Council on Aging. She comes every Wednesday, and she is the greatest that I have ever had. She comes one day a week on Wednesday. I have two and a half hours with her, and she does more in that two and a half than others do in a week. She doesn’t ask a lot of questions, where is this, what’s this, what do you want me to do, where you want to put this; she just gets right with it. There are different people -- some know how, some don’t know how -- and she does know how. She sweeps, mops, and does not allow dust. She doesn’t help giving me a bath -- they have people that do -- but when I was on hospice, I couldn’t have two people doing the same thing or something like that; I don’t know what it is. The reason I am rating them highly was that the first day she came here, I said “Jackie I got something I got to tell you. You really got all your ducks in a row." She asked what I was talking about after I asked if she really knew how to help a handicapped person and she said she had training. I knew that there was something about that woman that other people didn’t have. It wasn’t with Council on Aging that I got my training; she said she had a job when she was in Massachusetts where they were in a wheelchair for about a month to see what they could do in a wheelchair, then they blindfolded them to see what it would be like be a blind person, and then she said they did something to see what they could do with a lot of apparatus hands and arms; I don’t know what else she said, but I could tell she is a great person. "

"I would highly recommend the caregivers at First Coast Senior Care. They were so caring and compassionate to my mother at the hospital and during her recent post-hospital stay in rehab. The rehab staff was so busy, it was a comfort to have these wonderful caregivers there when she needed them. This was an unexpected situation. With a quick phone call to the owner Christine Yancey on a weekend day, we had assistance immediately. It was such a relief to have these caring and compassionate people there with my mother when she needed some extra care. We were there a lot, but with the help of this great company, my mother was able to rest and know that she was being watched over. Professional and concerned. These caregivers were always concerned and communicated well with the family during the time we had hired them. "I hired this agency to give my mother in home care after her stroke. The nurses and aids cared for her as if she was a part of the family. I had worked with several home health agencies prior to her stroke and was not satisfied. Those agencies mostly just checked her blood pressure, asked a few questions and handed out info about low-salt diets that was printed from WebMD. Interim on the other hand really took time with her, the nurses gave thorough exams, good advice and were not hesistant to call the doctor. The aids were careful and caring. At the nursing home where my Mom did her initial rehab the aids slung her around and did things efficiently but w/out tenderness. The aids from Interim, in contrast took a lot of time with her, carefully explained what they were going to do before they did it, and listened to her requests. They could not have been more caring if she was their mother. In addition the whole agency was flexible about scheduling worked with medicare and and the medical supplty companies to expedite the paperwork and make sure that my mom had what she needed. I would recommend this company to anyone "
