"We were given a handful of places to tour, and Freedom Pointe at The Villages was the first one we looked at. Every other one we looked at after that didn't even compare, and every place we went just made it look better. The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, the facility, and just everything. My parents moved to their assisted living facility. It's my first experience with assisted living, and the odd part for me, my parents are absolutely fine with it, is that while it's technically a 1-bedroom but the bedroom wall is not completely closed off. That's a little different for me, but my parents don't have a problem with it. They seem to like it and maybe that's how others are, too. The staff comes by often to get their trash taken out daily and do their laundry. They're also very attentive, all the different staff. I have tried their food and my parents love it. They really went above and beyond, and all the staff seemed happy to be there."

"Highpoint at Stonecrest is convenient to my doctors. It is very nice. I love the place, but the monthly rent was expensive. It is relatively new, and it is convenient for anything you want to do. It is convenient for shopping, and of course, they provide transportation. I had a meal there, and it was wonderful. They have a chef in their kitchen. It was very good. It was excellent. I was very pleased with this place. Their rooms were outstanding. They were beautiful. They had updated appliances, cabinets, and countertops. Everything was up to date. If you ended up getting a space there and you didn't like something in it, you would have to update it at your cost, but they always clean it and paint it and everything like that before you go in. My daughter loved that place. I took her there, and it was like going into a model home. They have a movie theater, gymnastic place, and areas where you could have exercise classes or different things like that. I thought they were well planned out."

"My mom moved into Brookdale Chambrel Pinecastle. We chose it because it is closer to where we live. Her apartment is very nice and spacious. I've seen the food, which looks and smells very good. The facilities seem very clean and neat, with fresh paint. Everyone seems pleasant and helpful. They do about six activities during the day, and they've done bingo, games, and other types of activities. The staff have been very helpful. Everything that we found was somewhere close to the same price, so I guess it's a good value."

"Sky Active Marion Woods is very nice, clean, and very good. The food was good; I ate lunch there. The people were great. The manager of the place was super. The girl that showed us around was very, very knowledgeable and good. They offer medicine if you want. They offer you the opportunity to have your clothes washed or you wash them yourselves. They offer certain things or programs during the week. A couple of days during the week, they'll take you to doctor's visits and places you need to go. There are games, too. I couldn't find anything wrong with that place. It was very good."

"I toured Canterfield of Ocala. I wanted my mom to go there because it was beautiful. It's very nice and half the price. I liked the rooms and how they were designed. I liked the services that they provided. The assistant manager was so helpful. It was an open room waiting to be filled with furniture, but it was perfect the way it was designed. I would recommend it as one of the top choices."

"I have seen Hawthorne Estates of Ocala for my mom. My mother-in-law who has passed away also stayed there, and everything was fine. Everything they did was exactly the way I wanted it. I have also never had a problem with the staff. I've never tasted the food, but I have never heard any complaints about it either."

"The Oaks at Waterman Village in Mt Dora was the perfect place for my parents to retire. They moved to the community 12+ years ago. Mom lived there another 10 years after my dad passed. She had a wonderful villa with an outdoor bird-watching space and a beautiful garden with her favorite plants. The two-bedroom offered space for our out-of-town family to visit, a fully equipped kitchen, and a covered space for her car. She loved the convenience of shopping, her church, and her local family. Community activities, home health care, and friendly faces, both staff and management, were available when needed. It was a wonderful place to make friends and live your best life."

"We like Lakeside at Waterman Village a lot. We liked where it was located. It was pretty and very comfortable. They have nice apartments, but at the time, it was out of our price range. Overall, the staff was wonderful. The place was very clean. They presented very well. They had all kinds of activities. It was a nice place. The only drawback was that we couldn't afford it. The staff was amazing. They were very patient and understanding and very capable of answering any questions that we had. They were really nice. They took us on a tour of the entire area. It was just beautiful. The facility was well kept. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful, too."

"My parents are here. The staff is very attentive. All of their departments are very complete. They have doctors, professional nurses, and attendants. The building and grounds are spectacular. It has a swimming pool, putting green, three restaurant types, a 250-seat theater, Symphony Orchestra that practices there Friday evenings occasionally, many different venues, libraries, game rooms, and a large gymnasium. They have a full-time chef for three meals a day. The rooms that we acquired were large, spacious, and included a full kitchen. It's an assisted living facility. They're escorted to meals by a wheelchair. I've had three encounters there with food and it was all very nice. They have numerous activities."

"My dad will move into Watercrest Buena Vista. We chose them because of the location, amenities, and food. They have a swimming pool. The layout was what he was looking for. It was well-built, well-constructed, and well-tended. It had everything he was looking for."

"My sister has been at The Villages for 16 years now. It's beautiful and it's senior living at its finest because there's everything in the world to do. My sister loves it. It's a Mecca for older generation and younger generation now. It's amazing what all they have to offer. There is no staff because it's so independent. This is a large community. She lives in her own house. Now, they're building high rises and apartments and you can get little villas. They have swimming pools, bocce ball, tennis, and water polo. Anything you can possibly think of, they have it. They have movies and entertainment almost every night. It's just residential living. They have five-star restaurants all over the place, and they have golf courses. It's a full-fledged community with a lot of amenities."

"Trinity Springs is a beautiful facility. The staff have been wonderful. I am very eager, and my dad is eager to get there. It is a very wonderful looking facility and is one of the most sought after facilities in The Villages community. The atmosphere overall is bright, friendly, and comforting. They have a physical training room and nice grounds. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and priced right. It is like walking into a resort. It is very elegant and clean."

"I live in Lakes at Leesburg and the cost of the housing now is almost out of reach. There are no meals, but there is a community clubhouse and security at the gate. I have no complaints. It is a manufactured home community. There are approximately 600 houses here. We only had one second of an outage of electricity during the last storm, which is good. The staff is always good. There are quite a few activities, if you want to participate. Value for money is good. If this house sold and new people moved in, they'd have to pay the current rent. It would be about $200 more a month than I'm paying right now. They have a golf course, a clubhouse, golf activities, potlucks, bingo at the clubhouse, concerts, choir, and things like that."
