"I have Home Instead Clermont, FL for my mom. They are preparing meals and doing laundry and stuff like that. They provide excellent service. They show up on time. My mother has Alzheimer's, so she can be difficult, but they're very kind and patient with her. Sometimes they can talk her into taking a shower when I can't talk her into doing anything. I can't say enough good things about them. They're a great agency from what we have seen. They're excellent at communication. The caregivers themselves will talk about any problem we're having. Anything that I need them to do, they are always happy to do it. I can call the agency anytime and get somebody. If we would like to change a shift or something like that, they've always just been great. They're very flexible, which is one thing I like. They exercise with my mother, they take her for walks, they take her for drives, they take her to the store, they take her to Wendy's, they color, and they do puzzles. They watch TV with her if she wants to watch TV. They've done arts and crafts with her."

As time went on and she became less active and frail the ladies would sit and read her passages from the bible which she loved. When she got to the point she needed around the clock care the ladies sat next to her bed all night, being alert to her needs. They kept detailed journals for each other and me in order to see her eating habits, bathroom needs, physical functions . The conversations she had with them assisted me in realizing her overall decline and assisted the doctors in her final days and they knew when to suggest to me that it was possibly time for Hospice. My everyday life was made so much easier knowing the ladies assigned to mother from Comfort Keepers cared for and about her as much as her family did. They became life-long friends. To everyone who reads my review, please believe that this organization, Comfort Keepers in The Villages, Florida, is top "A" in their dedication to the care, comfort and tremendous understanding of your parent, loved one and the family. "This agency provided in home and in facility caregiver services. They provided my father with companionship, personal care and advocacy. Caregivers made daily reports to administration. They tried hard and did a great job matching the caregiver with the family. Caregivers were kind and communicative with the out-of state family members. They always returned my calls or texts. My father had the same caregiver most days. As with all caregiver agencies, they are short staffed at times, and the hours of service would sometimes vary. Communication with the administrative personnel has been very poor. I have not had response from them via email or phone messages after numerous tries over 4 months. I need their assistance in getting my father's long term care costs reimbursed by insurance. The insurance company tells me that most providers respond to requests for information within 7-10 days. I have repeatedly had to call the insurance company to reopen the claim due to lack of cooperation from My Brother's Keeper. The services provided were paid out of pocket via automatic credit card charges. In short, we have been unable to make use of my father's long term care insurance benefits because of the unresponsiveness of My Brother's Keeper administrative staff."

"We hired Preferred Care at Home of The Villages. Mostly they take care of my mother and they also do everything you ask. They started with the four hour morning work routine, and now they do the evenings too. They do a good job as far as keeping my mother clean and happy. They also work well with hospice. They have one or two people that come in the morning, and one or two in the evening, and it's usually the same person. The pricing is comparable with everybody else, they're always very professional, courteous, they're prompt with changes in their schedule, and they make sure somebody is always there."

"We chose to have Loving Care for my mother. She's being given 24-hour care. I think she's been better at home since she have us here with her home things in a familiar setting. She's been to skilled nursing home, but I think she's been better at home. We just needed to have somebody to care for her 24 hours a day because I work in South Florida. They were very helpful and professional. It's just not easy for us. After my dad passed away, my mom just lost the will to live. All her friends are either deceased or have moved with their families. "We got in-home care from Amada Senior Care for my wife. They offer bathing, dressing, fixing food, and helping us around the house. I'm only using them for like an hour a day right now, just to try to slowly get used to having somebody in the home helping out with my wife. My wife doesn't need constant care yet because I'm still able to help her out. They do a really good job there. They're on time, usually. I have the same girl every day, so that has been nice. It makes everything a lot easier having the same person. The agency itself has been super helpful with setting up and getting billing correct and working with my insurance company because I've got long-term care for my wife. They've been extremely helpful with that. I have zero problems so far with them."

"This place is a joke. We used them for a short time and most of the staff were horrible. The nurse that came to do the admission was very rude and impatient. I was paying cash for services for my dad and half the time the office messed up the scheduling. Some the LPN's were great but the RN's were horrible. Would not recommend this company!! "
