It's conveniently located in town, and they always have somebody available even if the regular person you have is sick or for whatever reason came short. They jump on it right away and they'll send you somebody else so they never leave you hanging. I don't think I ever had someone who didn't have patience with my wife. She has dementia. I was always very happy. I've been with them for about three years. They came in four hours a day and I used them once or twice a week. Usually, I like the very first person they send me and I'll have her for several months at least until that girl maybe moves on to another competitor and then they'll give me another girl. Each girl always lasts at least three to six months. Roz was probably the best, but they were all very good with my wife. Amy, my coordinator, is a very good listener, listens to what my needs are, and follows up to make sure, "Hey, are you happy with Roz? How's she doing?" They care about the healthcare person that they've sent over. Is she satisfactory to me? Is she on time? How does she get along with the patient? They have follow-ups and they want to review the caregiver. The caregiver would come over and just sit with my wife. She dehydrates easily, so Roz would be constantly giving her a cup of this, a cup of that. Roz knew it by heart. She knew all the different drinks to feed my wife. She takes her to the bathroom. Sometimes she would stay through lunch, so it was up to Roz to cook a little something and feed her. She was there just to keep her company, maybe hold her hand as she sits on the sofa and listens to music. Sometimes Roz would stay as long as seven hours, even though I mentioned normal is four hours a day. They're very competitively priced because I shopped around."
