"We went here. It was very nice. The girl I talked to was nice. She brought me all over. She explained everything. The place was gorgeous. They had a nice place. We just wanted a studio, and she showed us that. It was quite large for a studio for one person. It was very clean. They brought us all around. It was very beautiful, and it was clean. It's very new to me, and it's close to our home. It was excellent. The staff was very good, and very thorough, and she answered all my questions. I was with her for quite a while. She showed me all the facilities and the pool."

"Carriage House was the one my friend stayed in. It was very nice. The only complaint I would have is her room was tiny, but then she didn't need a big room. She had a bedroom, a living area, a tiny little kitchenette, microwave, and a sink, but they provide all the meals. Very nice dining room. It's very handy. You could walk to Wal-Mart, and there are churches right there and a big shopping center. "

"I'm interested in The Summit of Winter Garden. I just liked it. It felt comfortable. They showed me an apartment, everything was very nice. It was just very nicely laid out, it was big enough and not too big, and it had a nice little bedroom, and a living room. The residents were playing bingo, they had everything, and they said they have a party every Friday night. They had a beauty shop and library, which were very nice, and they offer transportation. It's a very clean and very well-maintained facility."

"Steeplechase was a nice place, but it needed a shot in the arm. The price was very good, they didn't have any entry fees, and the food was decent. They had a pool and the normal game things. A lot of people age in place in this location. They do all your laundry and offer 3 meals a day. "

"The best adult family care I visited,which they treated my mum with care respect.they were so loving,my mum started thinking I was not the family.am so glad my mum is in heaven and she get the care that she deserves.after having her for 5 years in a big facility.I wish i knew Florida golden adult care.please visit her ,the owner is very very sweet "

"My wife and I moved in at Arya windermere few days ago. we are here almost for a week. we are very comfortable and feel very safe. The staff is very helpful and our check in process was very smooth. Catherine, leasing consultant was extermely helpful . she walked us thru every step very patiently. They have numerous activities. This is our first experience to live in a independent living. The apartment is beautiful, it's one of the nicest places I've been to. we are close to our grandchildren and they can visit us anytime. They have a library, swimming pool, massage parlor, a sauna or steam room, and they have a workout room.Everyone I have met so far is very very nice."

"The community is only two years old. The interiors in it were very resort like. The staff is good, they have plenty of activities, and the food is good, too."

"We like Chambrel the best because the staff seems very nice. They were very helpful as we were walking through the place that day and answering follow-up questions. They seem to have a lot of tenure so it's nice to know that there's not a lot of turnover in staff. We thought that was important. The room layout is really the most ideal because it had a separate kitchen and a separate bedroom. It was a nice galley type of kitchen with an opening in the wall that you could actually sit at the island if you wanted to. It seemed to have a nice division between the rooms. Dad can swim there year round which is a big thing for him because the pool is heated. He's met some people and is playing cards on a regular basis and seems to be doing pretty well. The food was pretty good the time we ate there with him. He didn't like the spaghetti sauce and we reminded him that he's Italian and he's had his favorite spaghetti sauce for many years and obviously any place he goes is going to be different. He seems to be doing okay there. "

"I currently reside with my daughter and son in law. But, I am actively researching assisted living facilities in the Altamonte springs area. I came across Grand villa and toured the facility with 2 other ladies, My daughter, and My son in law as I am hoping to find my own space with 2 to 3 months. I was greeted by the executive director who actually gave me the tour herself! She was very pleasant and made me feel like I was a part of the family. My first impression of the property was how beautiful and well kept it was. It was a great experience as we even had an opportunity to experience the great food as we stayed for lunch. Ms. Howell was helpful and delightful. At first glance I was amazed at how small some of the rooms were until She showed us another room. It was occupied but, I could tell that it was ample space. I was most concerned about the money. It's a bit pricey for me. I almost felt it was out of my league. But, Ms. Howell assured me that she could offer resources for some contacts at the VA who could offer assistance. Hands down this is a 5 star community! "

"My mother used to be a resident of Horizon Bay. It's a clean and organized facility but I had to move her from there because she already reached to point that she needed more care. It wasn't their fault that they couldn't give what she needed. She's a fall risk. The staff were attentive but they just have more residents there. The girls tried the best they could but they had way more people to attend to. They have a hundred residents and I wanted a small population so that my mother can be seen right away. She was in a private room and my concern was they couldn't see when she was moving around and she would fall often. "

"My parents moved into Ansley Court of Maitland. It's a living facility. It's nice. The front desk is always very sweet when you come in. Right when you come in, there's usually a group of residents hanging out doing activities. They have an outdoor courtyard, which is nice. They also have physical therapy on site as well as medical staff. They provide three meals a day. They do their cleaning for the home, do their laundry, and do their bedding. They play games, like maybe bingo or board games. I know they have a piano there, and they do trivia. They have basic cafeteria food, hamburgers, pastas, and salads."
