"My husband moved into The Grove at Trelago. It's a beautiful place. The residents are well taken care of. They engage the residents. I don't worry about my husband wandering off anywhere because they're watched. The food is excellent. The care is excellent. I have absolutely nothing but praise for them. The staff members are very caring and good with the residents. They have gardens that they can walk through, but it's still confined. Outside their apartments, they have shadow boxes into which they can put memorabilia. It's very well done. The food is outstanding. They have pools, and it looks like a resort. They keep them busy with activities."

They had a library. It seemed like they had everything they needed. The staff was very informative and very pleasant."

"I toured Brookdale Wekiwa Springs. What I liked most was that the facility was clean. The one apartment they showed me would be perfect for a single person. Also, they had a calendar of activities and transportation to and from medical appointments. The staff seemed happy with their job. I was greeted by a receptionist, and she was very pleasant, was on time with the appointment, and was prepared. She had brochures, and she wasn't reading. She knew the content. She's a good listener. She paid attention to me, which I appreciated, and she responded professionally. They had an elevator, and it was clean. I saw people working and the nursing staff. However, the facility is older."

"We had dinner at Gentry Park Orlando. They give you 2 or 3 options with each meal. So, you have some variety. The facility is new, clean, and very appealing. They have a movie room and an activities room. The apartments are kept in excellent condition. They have a bus that takes the residents to the doctor's appointments and several different stores. Then they have an outing where they go to dinner. So, they have lots of activities and it's maintained well."

Over the years my needs have changed but the management team has supported and met those needs. "I visited the independent living community of Sky Active Sterling Court. It was one of the first places that was recommended to me. I went there and it was very nice. I was impressed. I like the location, and that it's modern and inviting. Everybody was also friendly. The person who gave me the tour was very friendly. She showed me all the amenities that they have there, and they were very nice. She took her time and was not rushing or anything like that. They showed me the outdoor space, but I didn't get a chance to see the pool area, since I can't walk a lot. She did mention that there was a pool."

"My tour at Florida Golden Adult Care went very well. I liked that it was a neighborhood, in that my aunt wouldn't get lost in a giant building. The place was very clean. The staff who toured us was very welcoming and informative. I was given a tour of the house. She showed me the complete facility. The dining area was clean and welcoming. There's a nice big backyard with a screened-in porch to eat out, and there's a TV, too."

"We visited HarborChase of Dr. Phillips and toured for independent living. They had a beautiful dining room and lovely food. They're delicious. The staff members were very professional. The place is brand-new, so it's lovely. It's very clean, very neat, and has a very professional air to it."

"I went to The Summit of Winter Garden. The staff takes the time to talk to you and explain everything to you. The people working there, I feel more comfortable talking to them. They really care. They have a gym and they have an outside where you can sit down, and it's really good."

"My mother-in-law lived at Woodland Towers. I didn't like the marketing director, but besides that, the place and everything else were great. The cook did a good job, and all the food tasted good. I was satisfied with the food and ate with her once or twice. It's a very nice facility. They had different spaces on different floors and two sides: senior living and assisted living. They kept the residents busy with enough activities to get them through the day, and the value for money was good."

"We like Lakeside at Waterman Village a lot. We liked where it was located. It was pretty and very comfortable. They have nice apartments, but at the time, it was out of our price range. Overall, the staff was wonderful. The place was very clean. They presented very well. They had all kinds of activities. It was a nice place. The only drawback was that we couldn't afford it. The staff was amazing. They were very patient and understanding and very capable of answering any questions that we had. They were really nice. They took us on a tour of the entire area.
