"My mother has been here for years. All of the staff from front door to nurses station are very nice and concerned for their patients. Being at this stage of life is hard enough but all staff is so very sweet to my sometimes not so sweet mother. They have always been so. I don't see or experience the negativity in other reviews. These people, especially the nursing staff are angels to me. "

"AdventHealth Care Center Orlando North (Formerly Adventist Care Centers Courtland) is a nice facility. My mother has a sitter because the residents can come and go as they please. With her current condition, if there wasn't a sitter there, she'd be out in the middle of the street, so they have to keep an eye on her. The menu looks very good, and the staff is very good. They have an excellent therapy room."

"My mom is staying in Metro West Nursing and Rehab Center. They're good people. They are knowledgeable about how to work with patients like my mom. Her room is a good size. The upkeep is pretty good as well. Everything is good for that part. They do bingo and trivia."

"The Rehab Center of Winter Park is a very caring nursing home. The care is very good and they work hard to be nice to residents. As a person that spent almost every day there for the last eight years, I know the staff and their heart is in the right place. The activities are fun and there are many things for residents to do including outings of shopping and restaurants. They have a lovely fine dining event every few months where the residents get dressed up and are served a fine meal by staff. There are social gatherings and visits. Everybody knows everybody. The rooms are nice and very clean. The staff works hard to keep the place clean and pleasant. Everyone is helpful. The PT, Speech, and OT are wonderful and do a great job. I appreciate the kindness they gave my mother and my uncle. It is a nice place with good people. Their work is appreciated. "

"My studio apartment is very adequate for my needs. It also has a beautiful view over the lake which inspires me to use both my gifts of writing and painting. (both acquired after moving here) I have made friends by being active in the art class and writing classes. The food is great and there are always activities for everyone. I highly recommend this living facility."

"My mother was at Conway Lakes Health & Rehabilitation Center for three weeks. She's been there a couple of times this year. She is in and out of there. The place is very friendly. They have a lot of staff, and they care. I don't have any complaints. My mother has a shared room. I think the private rooms there are limited. This is the rehab center, but they have another section that is long-term. The times that my mom is there are for therapy, speech therapy, and wound care, and if they need to do a blood test, they do that, too. Aside from therapy, they have a dining room area, and a little living room area where they could be together and watch TV, and they have activities during the month, especially during the holidays. For the meals, if you know you're going to be there with a family member, you could let them know 24 hours in advance so that you could buy them a meal for you to share at the time they're having lunch. They have a nice way of bringing in family members to the community. "

"My dad was at this location for a few months . From the first tour my husband and i were very impressed. The staff is long term and full of pride in their jobs and the facility. We call it a place where angels walk the halls. I loved this place and my dad felt safe there. The care he received was great . All of the staff was wonderful and it would be hard to pick favorites but the cna, Connie the rt Janice and the nurse Mike will always have a special place in my heart. "

"My experience with ManorCare began with a total right knee replacement revision with a patellar tendon tear. So I came to the facility in an immobilization brace and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. I felt an immediate sense of relief, as I knew they would take care of my "Total well being emotional, physical, mental, occupational ,and physical therapy are top Notch. Team work is evident, Smiles are abundant . The patients needs are first and foremost Dignity and Respect given here thank you."

"Where do I begin to tell you all the wonderful things the staff have done for my father. We placed him at WP Care and Rehab in January and his health has improved significantly. He loves the attention he gets. Leslie in admissions is an angel - seriously. The nurses down to the janitors/maintenance staff are so nice. I have never smelled urine. The facility is clean. I am so pleased that he is there and I highly recommend this facility for your loved one. I do not have one negative thing to say."

"Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital provides a little garden area with real food planted there. They also have outdoor rehab work, and they give you all manner of rehab there. They start in the mornings. The people that work in the rehab area are so professional, and they make rehab fun. They make sure you do as well as you can. The food was really good. My room there was clean and nice, but it was not anything spectacular."

"I have been a resident for about 3 weeks now following a 3 week stay in the hospital. I am amazed at the attitude and compassion of the staff. They seem well trained and capable. Most importantly, they treat residents with respect. I like most of the food, and there is plenty of it. It is clean and bug-free. "
