The tour experience I had at Westminster Towers was excellent. The tour marketing directors were very good. They had a lot of information. They were good about telling us all the expenses, all the paperwork, and they answered all the questions. The assisted living apartments were a little smaller. The thing we didn't like, for us, was there was no kitchenette or even a small refrigerator to be able to let my dad have his cereal in the morning or microwave something if he wanted to or let us cook a little meal for him when we would come visiting. The good news is that assisted living and skilled nursing were all in one building. So, that was a good thing because all we would have to do is take an elevator to see my mother if they both move in there. The dining area was very nice. The food plan they had was a little different. They had a pay-as-you-go type of thing. So, if you wanted certain services, they weren't included. You would pay an additional fee. In assisted living, if my father wanted his laundry done versus walking down the hall and doing it himself at the washer and dryer, which he would never do, then there would be a fee for that. If you wanted more than one meal a day, then you would pay for the additional meal. To clean the little apartment, you would pay an additional fee. Little things like that. So, they were more of a pay-as-you-go for certain things, not all things. Westminster Towers seemed a little older and the apartments weren't updated. They said if Dad wants it, they would paint it or if he wanted something changed out in it, they charged for that. They had grab bars on the toilet and things like that, so that was good, but it just seemed like it wasn't as updated to current standards. The bathrooms had a lip over the shower. The people we met were very good, very knowledgeable, and very open. They were community oriented. They knew many of the people and that was good.

What made us choose Westminster Towers for my parents are the staff and the facilities. They have a lot of things for them to do there. They have an 18-hole putting green and a pool room. My parents' quality of life will be a lot better than some of the other places that didn't have as much stuff. Right now, they're on the waiting list so as soon as they give them a go, they're going to move in. The rooms were a little larger than the other three that I looked at. The other ones were 400 to 500 square feet, and these were a little over 600 for basically the same price. They have a community dining area. They also have the option. If you don't want to go there, they could bring the food to the room. From what I saw, cleanliness was pretty good. I saw an exercise room, a salon, and a courtyard. They also have a recreational room with a pool table.

Mom was a guest at Windsor Tower for a few weeks of rehab following surgery for injuries sustained in a fall. We appreciated the sincere connection staff members made with the residents, and the professionalism they showed throughout her stay. We did our part to support and encourage her well-being, but an active schedule of OT & PT, along with our phone calls and visits, helped her sustain a positive mood most days. They promoted her well-being after discharge by giving her common-sense advice about personal care, as well as use of her walker and wheelchair.

We toured Westminster Towers Orlando. We were there for my father who was going to be in assisted living. I liked the layout of the apartments for each resident. I liked the fact that the representative who took us around knew all of the residents by name. The facility is always clean. They do a lot of activities for the residents. Their food is good, and that's an important factor. The pricing was a little high. For the amenities that they get, I think it was OK. The other thing that I like is it is a continuous care facility. Someone can age in place and go from independent living to assisted living to memory care if needed, all in one location. The chef involves himself with the residents. He actually seeks input as to what would be good to have and things like that. I think that is a wonderful thing for the residents there. They have a putting green and a cafe, which is a very informal setting. They also have a sit-down dining room that has white tablecloths, and it's very nice. They have several meeting rooms for very large groups, as well as smaller groups. They honor the residents who have been in the military, and that is a very active part of their community. The facility is always well-kept and maintained. It is a tall multi-story tower, so the assisted living apartments are on floors two, three, and four.

Westminster Towers Orlando is amazing. It's beautiful. There are so many activities and they are so encouraging. My dad doesn't feel left out. The food is great. He has a 10th-floor room that overlooks the skyline of Orlando and the Lake Lucerne fountain. It just couldn't be any better. He has a one-bedroom apartment and it's got a kitchen, a huge pantry, and a nice living room. It's just lovely. There are also laundry facilities on the floor for the units that don't have washer-dryers in their rooms. Their calendar is full. Every time dad has something going on. I went to a yoga class with him today. They have religious things, artistic things, a concert almost every weekend with really fine musicians, and movie nights. It's a packed schedule. The rent includes one meal a day and then you can add on as you wish. It's a cashless plan, so you use a fob to either pay for your guests or to credit your account for your meal, or when you go to the beautician, the barber, or their little general store. They got a computer center, a beautiful gym, and a heated outdoor pool as well. The staff is so kind and helpful.

Westminster Towers Orlando would be very livable for my wife and me, but it's right in downtown Orlando and I don't think we would enjoy that. It's in a tall building and not laid out with villas, apartment homes, or separate homes -- it's all in one building downtown. However, they have everything you would want, from a snack shop to a little emergency-shopping area that has over-the-counter things that you might need. When we were there, people were mostly sitting in small groups, laughing and enjoying the camaraderie of being together. We have tried their food and it was good, but it did not stand out. It was just your average restaurant-type food. The staff was very nice, inviting, and anxious to do anything that we were interested in. They answered all our questions.

My girlfriend was in rehab for two weeks at the Westminster Towers in downtown Orlando, and it was really nice. The staff, the nurses, and everybody were just accommodating. It was just really a nice place. I didn't go into all the rooms, but I was able to see the lobby area to go to the rehab part, and it was very nice there. She was at a bad place in her life at that time. She had been in a coma for months. She had a bad surgery, so she was not in a good state of mind, and she was very depressed. I was there pretty much every day, and I dealt with the nurses and staff. They really went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. The facility was very clean.

Westminster Towers Orlando was very clean, the rooms were lovely and the staff was amazing. The only problem we had was that in order to get a good view in their room, you already have to be living on the other side. So if you're already living there, you have first dibs on a room with a view that opens up. Their activities and amenities was great, they have a little putting green, they have lots of classes and they're currently redoing their activity center. The building itsef was under construction because it was already getting dated, but what I saw was that it's very clean and well-run.

My mother and now my aunt are in Long Term, in this fabulous adult care center. This message is to thank all the nurses, doctors and in general to all the employees who take care of the patients every day and take care of them with so much love and dedication. God bless you for working every day in these difficult times for humanity. A thousand and a million thanks.

The Staff, from the Director on down are professional, qualified, caring and dependable. IF Not, they will be quickly dismissed! I went to Westminster Towers Orlando -- which is right in downtown Orlando and directly across from where I work -- and it’s close to my home. It was definitely a cut above and obviously more expensive. It would have been my first choice. The room that I was looking at for my dad was a 1-bedroom apartment and not an efficiency. It was completely redone with granite countertops and new carpet, new paint, and new shower. Westminster Towers Orlando was probably older, but it has been maintained very well. It’s a lot more expensive, and it is located right downtown.

We ended up going to Westminster Towers for Mom. It has been very good. She likes it a lot. It’s not perfect as there’s problems here and there, but overall, she is very happy and we’re happy. One of the reasons we like the place is that the staff is very caring, and they have continued to be that way. They provide the food and the activities, like crafts, visiting musicians, and games. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Westminster Communities of Florida is wonderful. I just met with a gentleman from the welcoming committee. The dining room is similar to a luxury cruise ship. The services and amenities are first-rate. I have been an institutional administrator myself, so I know first-rate. They have music performances, movies, and dance performances and offer all kinds of programs. There's no way I can attend everything. I am in an extremely luxurious one-bedroom overlooking downtown Orlando.

I chose Westminster Towers because it's close to my home. They are letting me eat in the main dining room. Things are very adequate.

Westminster Towers Orlando is in a nice location and much better compared to another facility I saw. The food was not bad. There were a lot of choices and good-quality food. They had a lot to offer. It is a nicely kept and new building. The residents seemed to have a good spirit about themselves and may be about my age and more aligned with my thinking and level of activity.

Westminster Towers has long-term and dementia/memory unit care. The staff seems very friendly, helpful, informative, and welcoming. My father is very comfortable there. They have a rehab unit that seems to help him a lot. The rooms are semi-private with private rooms available but at a higher cost. His room seems to be comfortable. It is homey and spacious, not a sterile atmosphere. The food is more cafeteria style, but they do have several choices. This facility is probably the nicest place I have seen. There are different levels of treatment there, and it is not far from a hospital.

Westminster Towers was the one I like the best. I like the people, for one thing. I talked to quite a few people that were there, and I have several friends that live there. The apartments were larger than a lot of them. There’s a good floor plan, and they had nice storage, which I thought was good. They had a full kitchenette, refrigerator, stove, and a microwave. I like that. The other thing that impressed me was the activities because I can’t drive at night, and it’s in downtown Orlando. They have trips to various things that I could do if I were there. It is close to my doctors and hospital too. The food is excellent. I liked the lady that took me on the tour and talked to her several times. The view is lovely; it’s on a lake.

At Westminster Towers Orlando, they have very well-rounded programs and very nicely designed activity programs for people that need that. I met with a couple of people, and they were very pleased with the assistance they were getting. I found the apartments very nice, and their programming very nice too. The people were very enthusiastic. The food was very good. It was a very nice place.

The flexibility of the financial option at Westminster Towers was interesting to us. We saw the independent and the assisted living facilities. The apartments were fine. The staff was also fine.

We visited Westminster Towers. They were wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. Everything was just wonderful. They showed me a one-bedroom place, and it was very nice. They have everything. They have pools and machines. I think Westminster Towers was the best.

The first community is in downtown Orlando named Westminster Towers. It is very nice and very luxurious. It has a lot of amenities and a lot of extras. It is a good size place -- I think about 12 stories tall. They were very accommodating and very helpful. They answered all of our questions, and I'd say they were excellent.

I went to another one in Lucerne. The name is Westminster Towers. I like the location and I like that they are peaceful. They have a good courtyard, and it has a lot of serenity. I went there for a yard sale that they endorsed. The staff was good. They talked to me and explained a lot of things to me and stuff. They did tell me that there is a very long waiting list. I was talking to some of the tenants there, and they were telling me about the place and all of that. I liked everything.

Westminster Towers is a very nice place. They're a premier retirement tower village. They are pretty much the same as with the other facility we visited. It is also a bit pricey.

Westminster Tower apartments are very nice. Our room is about 900 square feet, with nice kitchen granite tops and two bathrooms. There's all kinds of activities, but nothing I'm interested in. I have arthritis so I can't do a lot of hand things, like golf and crafts. They have a library, and even a restaurant where your family could hang on when they visit. But they could improve on their food. I'm not used to peas, grits or greens. They will bring your meals to you for a small fee.
