Accessible bathrooms with all safety features and full size walk-in showers Inviting living and dining areas allowing for communal meals and separate visiting and entertainment spaces Oversized screened patio for special events, family parties, and for residents to enjoy the fresh air while still being protected from any harmful elements Peaceful half-acre property provides fully fenced in rear yard allowing outdoor space for all residents to enjoy Nutritious home-cooked meals and healthy snacks are provided throughout the day for all residents. Menus are thoughtfully designed by a Certified Dietitian and Nutritionist to meet senior nutritional needs, including: Diabetic-friendly options Low-sodium diets Texture-modified meals if needed Monthly meetings with all residents are held to review upcoming menus and the likes and dislikes from past menus to develop meals all residents will enjoy. We encourage all residents to sit together during meal times to socialize and converse but in-room meals can be provided if resident prefers. We believe quality of life goes beyond basic care by providing engaging and enriching activities to stimulate the physical, mental, and emotional. Our activity offerings include: Light exercise and stretching Music and reminiscence sessions Arts and crafts Gardening Games and movie nights Holiday and birthday celebrations With only six residents, activities are tailored to individual interests and abilities. We provide assistance with coordinating home health, hospice, and other outside providers when additional services are needed.
