"My husband moved into The Grove at Trelago. It's a beautiful place. The residents are well taken care of. They engage the residents. I don't worry about my husband wandering off anywhere because they're watched. The food is excellent. The care is excellent. I have absolutely nothing but praise for them. The staff members are very caring and good with the residents. They have gardens that they can walk through, but it's still confined. Outside their apartments, they have shadow boxes into which they can put memorabilia. It's very well done. The food is outstanding. They have pools, and it looks like a resort. They keep them busy with activities."

"My brother moved into Green Tree of Orlando. The facility is very clean and organized. They are very professional and friendly. I'm really happy with them. My brother says the food is good. They have televisions in all the rooms. They have big rooms where you can congregate. It looks like they have a lot of amenities. My brother's room is kind of small, but it's adequate. It has good closet space, and it's nice."

"Wayman Place was very clean. The rooms were all private, and they were nicely sized for one person. They fit whatever we thought my brother needed. They were very friendly and very knowledgeable, and they answered all my questions. We didn't see any activities when we were there because it was lunchtime, so they were all having their lunch."

"I toured Brookdale Wekiwa Springs. What I liked most was that the facility was clean. The one apartment they showed me would be perfect for a single person. Also, they had a calendar of activities and transportation to and from medical appointments. The staff seemed happy with their job. I was greeted by a receptionist, and she was very pleasant, was on time with the appointment, and was prepared. She had brochures, and she wasn't reading. She knew the content. She's a good listener. She paid attention to me, which I appreciated, and she responded professionally. They had an elevator, and it was clean. I saw people working and the nursing staff. However, the facility is older."

"It was a great place for my grandparents. They had a beautiful one bedroom deluxe apartment that was spacious enough to accommodate them both. The staff was super friendly and you could tell they really cared about the residents like their own families. They had a lot of activities but the best was their daily happy hour. The community encouraged families to join their loved ones and have a glass of wine and enjoy the music together. I've never seen an assisted living who offered this. Every time I visited them I felt like I was at the Ritz Carlton."

"We've moved into Spring Hills Lake Mary. We chose them because they were extra friendly and you didn't have to buy in. We walked through the door, and it was like we were at home. We visited four different styles of apartments, and we were able to pick out what we wanted. We have a two-bedroom, and one of the bedrooms is the bedroom, and the other one we're using as a study, but it's bright and sunny. It feels like something you would have in a normal house. It's just really comfortable. The food is tasty, and it's a good selection. You get a menu when you go in and you order what you want and they change it every week. They have a lot of programs. Their activities look very interesting."

"Brookdale Lake Mary was great. The people were great. It's a little bit older facility, but it's very personable. The guy who gave me the tour was very friendly. You bring your own appliance though. Meals are included. Everything is included. They have access to food, so why would want to bring your own microwave to the room?"

"I went to visit a friend's mother while I was in town. She was in the memory care unit. The unit was very clean and the smell was very pleasant. The residents were all dressed nice and some of the ladies had make-up on. The staff was helping the residents play BINGO which I thought was awesome. I was allowed to walk with her to her room and I was so impressed how she was able to have furniture from home and pictures of her family in her room. Everything was awesome. Even the food looked delicious. "

"Madison at Oviedo is outstanding. The personnel were also outstanding. The food looked very good. The facilities are ample. It's really nice. The place is pricey, but at least you got a high-quality place. They were very friendly, very amicable, very communicative, and very open. The building was very well kept, and it looks very good. The size and the layouts were very nice, too. The atmosphere felt comfortable."

"We toured Madison at Ocoee's assisted living for my friend, and it was a very nice place. I would go there if I needed to. I was very impressed with it, especially their interest in the people. You weren't just going to an old folks home. You were going to a nice place with all kinds of activities going on. They try to keep the patient feeling independent, and have more normal living arrangements than in some places. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The place was very well kept up. They have outdoor spaces and a library."
