"It was a decent nursing home. He was fed on time, bathed regularly (not an easy task since he's 300 plus lbs), and treated well. They also had activities for the patients that could get out of bed (movie/card night, prayer services, etc.). "

"I got my friend moved to Longwood Health Care. It's not a 5-star facility, but it's comfortable and clean. I think it's a wonderful place. The food is good, the people are super nice and very friendly. They take really good care of her. I've never experienced the kind of family atmosphere they have there. I'm really happy that my friend is close to me now. So it's not very far from me to drive and I can go see her more often. The only problem we've had was they gave up on my friend a couple of times on her physical therapy. I don't know what the deal was there, but they said they took her as far as they could. "

"I went to the Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park to visit a friend. It was nice, it was clean, and the staff seemed to be friendly. The food tasted pretty good, the room was nice, they kept it clean, and each patient had a TV, but when you have a TV going on, it's not very good. They tried to work with him, they were very nice to him, and they tried to help him."

"The staff here is amazing. The nurses, the CNA’s, housekeeping, kitchen staff, everyone. The business manager, Ms Prosphere, is exceptional. The facility is clean and there is no urine smell. (As a retired RN, the first thing I observe is the smell of a facility.) The rooms are cleaned, the linen on the beds are changed daily and the residents are groomed as well as possible based on their physical condition. My mom has been there since March, 2019. She has dementia and the mood swings that come along with that condition. Also, my mom is 98 years old. I visit 2-3 times weekly. I have never been there when her hair wasn’t combed, had on clean clothes, no body odor nor soiled underclothes. They take extremely good care of her, physically, mentally and emotionally. They have daily activities on and off site trip twice a month. They have menus for the residents to choose the foods they like. They, also, supplement the chosen menu with healthy and attractive foods. I can’t say enough good things about this facility! It has been such a blessing for my mom and me. I must specifically name a couple of people who have shown my mom extraordinary loving care: CNA’s Tamika, Helen, and LaShon! Also the activity director, Shabaz. They have made my mom’s life so much more bearable with their kindness! I love this facility!❤️❤️❤️"

"This facility was very nice especially for the price. They treated my Grandmother with the utmost respect. My Grandmother was at this facility because she had alzheimers and she fell and we could not care for her, the way we needed to anymore. The area surrounding the facility was not very nice but, it was not far from my father's home, which is who took care of her before we put her there. You could not access the facility without being buzzed in so that made me feel better about the facility. They would do everything for my Grandmother eventually. They wheeled her around. They had a very nice outside garden type area for the residents to relax in. They had a nice area to eat in, there was a fish tank in that room and they residents loved it. Each room had a tv for the residents to watch. They obviously washed their clothes for them but, we decided to do this for her. This way her things would not get lost. They even had a beauty parlor. Santa would come to visit the residents at Christmas time. Overall this facility was great. The nurses knew us by name and they greeted us everytime we came to visit. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Everyone at this facility was warm and I know my Grandmother was well taken care of. She has since passed. "

"Placing a parent in a long term care nursing facility is not a decision one takes lightly. When the time came, I searched many many places in my area and not one was a place that I could feel comfortable to let my parent live in then I visited Manor Care! From the front desk, to the maintenance staff to the nurses, administration EVERYONE has been wonderful. Residents and visitors are treated with dignity and respect. My parent has gained weight and is adjusting to their new home I believe because of how well they are treated. The building is older but it is SPOTLESS thank you to Rosalie the maintenance supervisor. Everyone is extremely helpful and caring. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am that I can sleep at night knowing that my parent is very well taken care of! The only critique is that they need more activities"

"Winter Park Towers is fine except that I feel it is very expensive for us. It is a very upscale community. If you're here, you probably won't want any other place. Their staff is nice. You can have a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom unit with a kitchen. However, this is the kind of place where they want you to put down a large amount of money and then still pay a monthly. "

"We visited Winter Park Care & Rehabilitation Center because my sister came across it through the Internet. It was an old place and the rooms were old yet it was very clean and well-kept. The staff were very amenable. There was even a minister as member of the staff. The facility seemed to offer what the residents needed. We talked to some of the residents and they were happy with the place. I would suggest they try to modernize the place a little bit. "

"The facility is a clean facility. It’s not like some when you walk in and smell horrible. The residents love the entertainment and really enjoys the daily activities. I wanted to move my mom but she begged me to keep her there. She loves the staff and the way they care for her. I would have never thought this would be her forever home but Thank You Courtyard Staff for all you do"

"We chose Lake Mary Health and Rehab for my father-in-law. He was just in there for the rehab program. It was an excellent facility and clean. The folks were very courteous. The food was good. The attention to detail and the attention that the nurses and the physical therapy gave him were excellent. I would absolutely recommend them. "

"My husband was at this facility for rehab services for a knee replacement. The staff was exceptional from the minute he was admitted the staff was professional, sympathetic to his needs and absolutely the most knowledgeable and compassionate staff of any hospital or nursing home/ rehab my family has ever experienced. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this facility and I would recommend this to everyone in need."

"The thing that was best about Avante was their physical therapy and the therapist. When I think of their staff in general, most of their nurses, I thought, were excellent and attentive to his needs. The CNAs, most of them, were very attentive to his needs. When it comes to personnel, I was very pleased with that. The sanitation was OK. There was nothing special about it. It was clean, but the way it was appointed, it was kind of old and used-looking. They could improve on the décor. The place was pretty depressing. The outside wasn't very nice when you drove by it. The grounds were nice with new, fresh paint, but when you're inside, the rooms themselves looked like they haven't been touched for about 30 years. It wasn't dirty, it just didn't look good. "
